About the Role

This is a busy and pivotal role, working closely with the Head of Partnerships, Head of Fundraising and Communications and the team to raise awareness, increase visibility and develop our volunteer fundraising support, all with the aim of increasing our income generation.

You will be a proactive and people-focused fundraiser that will develop meaningful partnerships with local businesses, schools, community groups, clubs and individual fundraisers, inspiring them to fundraise for Cherry Trees. In doing so you will ensure that every supporter will receive excellent donorcare, making them feel personally connected to our mission to deliver outstanding home from home care for children with complex disabilities, and essential respite for their families.

About Us

Bridges Outcomes Partnerships (BOP) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works alongside Government, community groups and specialist Delivery partners to design and deliver vital services that support people to improve their lives, in areas ranging from housing and employment to education and health & wellbeing.

The role of BOP spans project development (working with Government and others to design and launch the service), project management (coordinating the delivery phase, managing performance, and liaising with the various stakeholders) and project finance (funding the project until it starts to earn outcomes payments). About the opportunity

This role creates a unique and exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a new multi-partner Domestic Abuse Service in Plymouth. Our partnership of local VCSE organisations brings together a strong coalition of expert partners to deliver impactful support and prevention with a clear focus on improving outcomes for people and systems affected by Domestic Abuse. The programme aims to provide community-based support, built on:

·A trusted, well-governed local partnership with deep roots in communities and statutory systems, delivering a cohesive and unified service for survivors.

·A whole-family, holistic model that integrates advocacy, behaviour change, children and family services, and safe accommodation to reduce risk and build resilience across the family unit. 

·Survivor-led and trauma-informed practice, with lived experience embedded in design, delivery, and decision-making to ensure services are relevant, accessible, and inclusive.

·Flexible, community-based access and outreach, offering multiple entry points, streamlined referral pathways into specialist provision, and tailored responses for each survivor and family.

·Robust data and evidence, collecting and analysing impact data, allowing us to learn from what works and to keep iterating to delivery more effective, and to show long-term impact for survivors.

The role requires strong project development and delivery management skills (coordinating the mobilisation and delivery phase, and liaising with the various stakeholders) as well as the ability to  facilitate effective governance and make decisions (including data analysis and presentation skills). As the Lead for the partnership, you will work with the Programme Director to create an effective platform for all stakeholders, including those we support, to be heard. This will require multi-stakeholder engagement and management including VCSE, Local Authority and Central Government partners. Through this engagement you will create a transparent and accountable environment where data, and testimony, drive decision making.

The role will also include support to Quality Assurance and Project Development and Social Investment functions. Key job functions will include:

Governance and Reporting

- Coordinate and deliver effective, multi-layered, governance with multiple stakeholders.

- Build and support strong relationships with partners.

- Provide contract support and management.

- Oversee all data related aspects of the programme including data collection, extraction, analysis, reporting, presenting, etc.

- Produce regular reports and data analysis to inform project delivery and decision making, and to support performance management through continuous iteration and targeted innovations.

- Gathering, analysing, and presenting quantitative and qualitative data to measure the impact of service innovations for the programme.

- Ensuring the voice of those we support is heard.

Developing external relationships

- Working with the Programme Director to develop and manage local relationships, this role will have an operational focus on supporting improvement to the service.

- This will include support for pathway development between services, including those not currently within the partnership.

- This role will also be required to represent the partnership in local appropriate forums

Coproduction and Design

- Identifying challenges to achieving outcomes and to engage with delivery partners to identify opportunities to adapt the delivery.

- Work with the Programme Director to ensure the voice of those who have experienced the project and of wider services across Plymouth is heard and incorporated into delivery.

Quality Assurance and Compliance Management

- Supporting Partners to conduct self-assessment QA processes to ensure high quality casework and support is undertaken at all times.

- Quality checking data on the case management system.

- Liaising with the commissioners around quality checks.

Growth/Sustainability

- Support the Programme Director and partnership to identify and secure funding to enable growth and innovation.

- Provide support and liaise between internal functions (Project Development and Social Investment, Enablement) and local partners.

- Supporting and contributing to wider business development opportunities.

The Junction is an out of hours service, open 365 evenings a year 4pm-11pm, to support and assist individuals experiencing a mental health concern. The aim is to alleviate the need for people in the Swindon locality to access A&E acute mental health services and primary care GP services unnecessarily by managing the presenting symptoms/mental health crisis along with the triggers and context for that crisis.

Working pattern includes every other weekend and working hours are 16:00-23:00.

This new role will play a key part in delivering Unseen’s fundraising and communications strategy. We’re looking for a passionate, creative communicator to help grow our supporter base and maximise income to support our work to end modern slavery. 

1. Working with service users (in the community and in safehouses at times) to identify support needs and creating a journey plan to lead them towards recovery and independence.
2. Working alongside service users to help them complete the goals in their journey plan, ensuring they are aware of their rights and entitlements and advocating for them

About the Role:

You will provide high quality support to all victims and witnesses of crime and Anti-Social Behaviour, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also provide cover for the local VS Helpline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for service users referred in to the service, completing comprehensive impact and risks assessments using agreed processes and a tailoring the response to each individual's needs.
• Manage a caseload of service users who require more immediate and short term interventions, referring on those with more long term needs either internally or externally.
• Develop support plans where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service and provide accurate and timely performance information for internal and external use.
• Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns including both child protection and vulnerable adult issues.
• Ensure that everyone is aware of their rights under the Victim's Code of Practice and the Witness Charter..
• Comply and keep up to date with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including data protection legislation, confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all outcomes and Key Performance Measures are met relevant to the local contract.

Ideally you will have:

• Experience of delivering a service and working directly with service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting
• Experience of working in an outcomes focused service
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system and the impact of crime
• Knowledge and understanding of Domestic Abuse processes and services
• Experience of engaging with vulnerable victims of crime who may have complex needs

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Research Programme Manager with a strong grounding in scientific research and expertise in grant management to take on a maternity cover within our small and tight-knit research team.

The role’s core responsibility will be to lead on the delivery of the Foundation’s translational grant funding schemes - our Catalyst Awards and Advancing Treatments Awards. The post holder will have a visible presence within the research community acting as an important point of contact between researchers, committee members (including people living with MND), peer reviewers and the charity.

They will be responsible for the successful delivery of a large portfolio of active projects by working closely with others in the team to ensure all awards are expertly administered, monitored, evaluated and reported against, ensuring the outputs are of the highest quality and supporting the charities activities. The post-holder will identify opportunities to communicate the progress or impact of the work we fund and work with the communications team to develop compelling communications for our supporters.

Key responsibilities

Grant Funding Programme

● Lead on the management of several grant funding schemes, as well as ad-hoc applications that come to the Foundation;

● Oversee the smooth running of application rounds, peer review and ensure that funding committees function in line with AMRC guidance;

● Be the main point of contact for the AMRC with regards to research management;

● Support the ongoing implementation and development of the Foundation’s Grant Management Software, Flexi-Grant, ensuring the research team are using the platform effectively;

● Manage project set-up including contracting, the development of detailed project plans, including go/no-go milestones and budgets;

● Work with the others in the team to oversee the research programme budget including planning, monitoring and forecasting; work with the Directors of Research and Finance to ensure that accurate research finance information is available for organisational budgeting and planning;

● Seek opportunities to improve the Foundation’s grant funding schemes to increase the number and quality of applications received year on year, ensuring funded projects support the delivery of the Foundation’s research strategy;

● Monitor any developments or innovations across the sector and implement changes to maintain a high-quality impactful research funding programme.

Project Portfolio

● Manage and oversee project delivery of the Foundation’s active project portfolio by:

○ Building and managing relationships with award holders and attending site visits;

○ Approving grant payments and managing the change process for any project amendments;

○ Ensuring project progress is effectively monitored and reported against;

○ Identifying opportunities for and approving any project communications.

● Work closely with others in the research team to implement an Impact Evaluation Framework, to evaluate the impact of the research we fund.

General Responsibilities

● Support the Director of Research to deliver the Foundation’s research strategy;

Our client is a dynamic, passionate charity, committed to improving the lives of children across the UK. They currently run over 100 local services that help thousands of young people who desperately need support, as well as campaigning to change laws and policies to make children’s lives both happier and safer. The team is currently looking to appoint an interim Service Manager to oversee a team of youth practitioners delivering an emotional wellbeing & mental health (EWMH) drop-in service in Gateshead. This role is initially a temporary opportunity for 12 weeks, with the potential of extension.
 
As Service Manager you will oversee a team of dedicated youth practitioners, delivering one to one emotional wellbeing and mental health support to a variety of vulnerable young people, predominantly on a drop-in basis. You will lead, develop and coordinate the service, including community-based workshops, advice and signposting, and brief/structures interventions. You will ensure that delivery is clinically informed, safe and aligned with agreed service specifications.
 
To apply, you will have significant experience of delivering frontline services for vulnerable people (ideally young people) and will have demonstrable experience of overseeing delivery staff. You will have the ability to act creatively and respond to new and challenging situations, and will have experience of coordinating working patterns, including on-call rotas. Knowledge and understanding of issues relating to services for young people, specifically around emotional wellbeing, mental health and exploitation is desirable.

Role Summary

As a University Partnership Manager at upReach, you will play a vital role in securing and growing high-impact partnerships with universities committed to social mobility.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships within the Income Generation and External Engagement team, you will be responsible for developing new strategic relationships, championing our partners' voices across upReach, and working closely with our Programmes Team to oversee a portfolio of university partners. You will play a critical role in advancing upReach’s mission by generating income and leading upReach’s University Partnerships strategy. Creating life-changing opportunities for our Associates through high-impact university partnerships. You will be directly supporting the organisation's strategic priorities: driving sustainable income growth, enhancing programme impact and expanding our reach as a national charity.

Develop and Secure New Strategic University Partnerships

• Proactively identify, cultivate, and convert a pipeline of four and five-figure prospective university partners aligned with upReach’s mission and strategic goals.

• Lead high-quality prospecting and relationship-building activity, targeting income-generating partnerships that also deliver high-impact opportunities for Associates.

• Build strong relationships with key contacts at potential partners, including senior stakeholders within widening participation, employability, and careers teams, through regular in-person and virtual meetings.

Stakeholder Representation and Engagement

Monitor and Grow Existing University Partnerships

• Responsibility for a portfolio of upReach’s existing university partners, ensuring effective stewardship of the day-to-day relationship with high satisfaction, sustainable renewal and growth.

• Set and monitor partnership goals and OKRs, leading regular reviews and performance reporting.

• Identify opportunities to deepen and broaden engagement with existing partners, including expanding partnership activities.

• Collaborate with the Student Attraction and Programme teams to engage the university in identifying & promoting the programme.

• Working closely with upReach’s Programme teams to ensure partnerships and programmes are delivered to a high standard.

• Lead on university partnership health reviews and mid-year partner reviews to ensure any issues are dealt with effectively, promptly and collaboratively.

Partnership Visibility and Impact

• Collaborate closely with Marketing & Communications to co-create high-quality content and campaigns that showcase our strategic partnerships through university guides, case studies, thought leadership, social media, and joint events.

• Lead on impact reporting for your partnership portfolio, using both data and compelling stories to evidence the outcomes of the partnership and drive continued engagement.

• Proactively identify and deliver opportunities for partners to amplify the voice of upReach; through our external events, fundraising opportunities and sharing social-media collateral that promotes our work.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Innovation

• Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and contracting for all University partnerships, supporting effective financial management.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of partnership activity using upReach’s internal CRM and systems, enabling effective reporting, forecasting and stewardship.

• Uphold the organisation’s legal and ethical obligations, including data protection, charity law, and compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

• Manage and support a rotation of the Future Charity Leaders Programme, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.

• Meet monthly with University Leads (the Programme Coordinator responsible for day-to-day university activities) to set partnership priorities, monitor stakeholder KPIs (onboarding, engagement), and deliver updates to universities.

• Contribute to the achievement of income targets aligned with upReach’s strategic goals, identifying and progressing opportunities to drive revenue growth.

• Engage fully in the annual appraisal process, setting ambitious, SMART objectives that align with organisational priorities and your personal development.

Veterinary Surgeons at Blue Cross are exposed to a wide variety of medical, surgical and emergency cases, enabling rapid development of skills and confidence in general practice. 

This is a full time, fixed term contract for six months. The shift pattern is mostly Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, allowing for an excellent work-life pattern. You will be a part of the evening and weekend rota, which is shared between vets based across Victoria, Merton and Hammersmith resulting in about 2 evening shifts a month and 1 weekend day shift (compensated by time in lieu) every 6 weeks. You will be based primarily at our Victoria hospital, however some flexibility in supporting pets at our other sites is needed. 

About the hospital 

The Blue Cross Victoria hospital has been in operation since its opening in 1906, remaining steadfast in its commitment to helping pets and their owners in need. 
 

Equipped with state-of-the-art veterinary facilities, you will be joining a hospital that spans six floors with six consultation rooms, two theatres, four minor procedure rooms and a laboratory. We are also lucky to have an ambulance service dedicated to transporting animals to and from the hospital. 

Victoria is a 24-hour hospital with a dedicated night team, allowing for much desired case continuity. You will take an active part in our team development days, where once a month we provide emergency services only, allowing time for in-house cadaver training, case discussions and team meetings.
