We are looking for a part time Membership Officer to work 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday), alongside our existing part time Membership Officer. The Senior Funding Operations Officer is a key role in the Finance and Funding Operations team, that provides operational and financial support across the organisation.
The role is responsible for:
- Grant and contract management activities, ensuring all grants and contracts are progressed appropriately and systems are kept up to date
- Liaising with teams, both inside the organisation and externally, to ensure the smooth running of grant processes
- Managing complex operational administrative issues

Key Responsibilities

Purpose of the job
The successful candidate will be employed as part of the Evidence Team working in a supportive, dynamic and fast-moving environment. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Support the delivery of various projects – including constructing work plans, achieving project milestones.

West Midlands Heritage Trust is seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Officer to join our small, dedicated team working to safeguard historic buildings across the West Midlands. This newly created, permanent role offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement, primarily home-based, with one day per week in a shared office (currently Worcester), bi-monthly evening board meetings, and occasional regional travel.
Working closely with the Treasurer, trustees, external accountants and project teams, you will support the financial management of WMHT and its partner Project Trusts. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records and budgets, processing invoices, monitoring project expenditure, supporting grant applications and claims, ensuring compliance with statutory and funder requirements, and preparing financial reports for the Board.
We are looking for an AAT-qualified (or equivalent) individual with strong bookkeeping and accounting skills, experience using financial systems (e.g. Sage or QuickBooks), excellent communication abilities, and a proactive, organised approach. An interest in heritage and community-based projects is desirable.

In this role, you will work closely with the Partnership team, comprising the Partnership & Localisation Manager and Rotary Partnership Manager, to advance two key strategic priorities: strengthening ShelterBox's partnership approach and driving localisation.
The Partnership team leads on developing and implementing strategies that enhance collaboration, including our global partnership with Rotary International. As part of this team, you will support programme delivery through a partnership lens. Purpose of the Job
The Health & Safety Officer will support and report to the Health & Safety Lead to ensure that The Felix Project maintains compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food safety legislation. This role is integral in maintaining a safe working environment across all Felix sites by assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of robust health and safety systems. The Officer will work proactively with staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture, support operational improvements, and deliver H&S-related training and engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Support the Health & Safety Lead: Assist in the day-to-day management of health and safety processes, ensuring that all activities comply with relevant legislation and internal policies.
· Risk Assessments: Support the creation, review, and regular update of risk assessments (RAs) and safe systems of work (SSOWs) across various sites, ensuring all potential hazards are identified and managed appropriately.
· Incident Reporting: Support the management of the reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, ensuring all reports are accurate, timely, and followed up with corrective actions where necessary.
· Training and Induction: Support the delivery of health and safety training programs, inductions, and toolbox talks for staff and volunteers. Maintain records of all training and ensure they are kept up to date.
· Safety Inspections: Carry out regular safety inspections and contribute to internal audit processes to ensure high standards of compliance and housekeeping.
