St John's College is now part of the national charity Ambitious about Autism. It makes a positive difference to the lives of over 50 autistic young people aged 16-25, many of whom also have learning disabilities.
As the Assistant Head, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students across both our College and Residential settings. With responsibility for safeguarding, you'll lead by example, championing best practices and ensuring that every student feels secure and supported throughout their academic journey.
This role covers our residential settings as well as the college. Therefore we welcome applicants with educational and/or residential experience.
But that's not all! You will also take the lead on creating a personalised learning experience for each and every student, linked to their Education Health Care Plan, and be the driving force behind our learners' successful transition to their next destination. Your dedication to understanding each student's unique needs will ensure that no one is left behind.
This role will also be instrumental in supporting our students as they navigate the exciting journey from education to their intended destinations. Whether it's further education, employment, or supported living, you'll provide the guidance and support needed to make their transition a smooth and successful one.

Safe Evolve, Early Intervention service is a new service commissioned by the London Borough of Ealing and represent an exciting partnership with the Anna Freud. The service offers brief evidence-based individual and group interventions to address mild to moderate wellbeing needs largely using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma-informed and mentalization approaches. It consists of two teams: one a specialist schools outreach service and the second a community well-being team for children and families.
The Deputy Head of Service post will support the expansion and delivery of SAFE Evolve including direct interventions, consultation and training to professionals, as well as making sure that the clinicians operate at all times from an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects the diversity of Ealing and ensures all work is sensitive to the needs of a range of ethnic, cultural and religious groups, is gender sensitive, anti-discriminatory and values diversity.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our thriving Clinical Help offers in the Schools Division. Successful candidates will demonstrate extensive experience of clinical supervision, implementing interventions with children and young people in schools and confident communication skills to effectively liaise with external agencies and represent the Ealing Early Intervention Service at a high standard.

Location

About the role
You’ll be a key member of the Education team, enabling us to equip health and care professionals across the UK with the knowledge they need to provide excellent care for people with Parkinson’s.
In developing and maintaining engaging, innovative online courses and resources, you’ll work closely with colleagues in the Education team and subject matter experts. You’ll use your specialist learning or instructional design experience to ensure our online education offer is based on sound pedagogical practice and focuses directly on meeting learner need.
What you’ll do
- Apply the tools, principles and practice of learning design to plan, develop and maintain engaging online courses and resources about Parkinson’s and Parkinsonism for professional audiences
- Work closely with the Education Lead to ensure our education offer is sector-leading, sustainable and aligned to the Charity’s strategic priorities
- Plan, manage and deliver to schedule high-quality online courses and resources, from agreeing learning outcomes to go-live
- In production and maintenance work, collaborate with colleagues including subject matter experts (such as clinicians in the Parkinson’s Excellence Network), technical specialists and other internal colleagues
- Support the development of an effective marketing strategy for the Learning Hub, working closely with Professional Engagement, Marketing and Media team colleagues
What you’ll bring
- Experience of providing pedagogic expertise to support the development and maintenance of online learning content
- Experience of the hands-on design, testing and evaluation of online learning for professional audiences
- Up-to-date perspectives on learning design practice and how it can be applied to professional education in the Charity sector

Reading Community Learning Centre is an independent charity which provides education and support for women from minority ethnic communities who may be unable to access more mainstream services because of the educational, social or cultural barriers they face.
We are looking for a qualified female ESOL tutor with at least 1 year’s teaching experience to teach ESOL to ethnic minority migrant, refugee and asylum-seeking women with English as a second language (each course is 10 weeks per term). You should also have relevant occupational competence and professional teaching qualifications that enable you to support adult learners to develop their skills, confidence and knowledge in English language and make progress.
You should be passionate about supporting others, have strong communication skills and should have experience of delivering accredited qualifications as well as recording and recognising progress and achievement using a standardised tool.
