Following an organisational review, EMMS is creating a new Director of Fundraising role, separating fundraising and communications into two Director posts. EMMS is financially stable with healthy reserves, currently raising around £400,000 per year in fundraised income, plus a significant time-limited major donor gift ending in 2028.

The Director of Fundraising will:

• Lead the development of a diverse, sustainable fundraising strategy across multiple income streams (trusts and foundations, major donors, individual giving, community, corporates, legacies).

• Be hands-on in delivering this strategy, supported by an experienced Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy and a Stewardship Manager.

• Manage and grow relationships with donors and stakeholders, meeting ambitious income targets.

• Oversee budgets, forecasting and reporting, and contribute to organisational strategic and business planning.

• Line manage fundraising staff, setting objectives/KPIs and supporting their development.

• Sit on the Executive Leadership Team and play a proactive role in the wider management and development of the charity, including reporting to the CEO and attending some Board meetings.

What they’re looking for:
An experienced senior fundraiser with a strong track record of strategic income growth across multiple channels, excellent relationship-building skills, strong leadership and team management experience, and knowledge of the Scottish charity and fundraising landscape. You should be confident operating strategically and operationally, familiar with fundraising regulation and good practice, and able to communicate effectively with both Christian and secular audiences in line with EMMS’ faith-based heritage and health mission. Degree-level education or equivalent experience is required; membership of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising (or willingness to join) is expected.

Director of Communications – EMMS International (Remote, Scotland-based)

EMMS International is creating a new Director of Communications role following an organisational review, separating fundraising and communications into two Director posts. Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, the Director of Communications will lead all internal and external communications, raise the charity’s profile and influence, and provide strong strategic support to income-generating functions, especially fundraising. You will develop and deliver a multi-layered communications and external affairs strategy, lead a small Communications Team (including a new Head of Communications), and play a key role on the Executive Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing an organisational communications and external affairs strategy

As Deputy Hospital Manager, you will support the Hospital Lead in overseeing all aspects of the hospital’s daily operations while contributing to long-term planning and service development. You will provide direct line management for our receptionists, taking responsibility for recruitment, induction, rotas, training and performance management. You will oversee robust stock control processes for both clinical and non-clinical items, ensure all non-clinical complaints are processed appropriately, and work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to maintain smooth and joined-up client journeys. 
 

Alongside this, you will provide comprehensive administration services that support our clinical teams in delivering veterinary care to thousands of pets each year. You will play an active role in continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance reception and client services, making them more efficient, effective and aligned with the needs of the hospital. Experience in fundraising or events is a valuable advantage and will help strengthen our community engagement efforts.

I am urgently seeking and Interim HR Advisor for a renowned Civil Service organisation based in Central London. This role is for an initial period of 3 to 6 months at a salary in the range of £34,608 to £42,955 per year on a fixed term basis and requires an ASAP start. This role will be based onsite 3 days per week with 2 days remote and will focus on clearing a backlog of fixed term contract redundancy processes.

The successful candidate will work within the HR Business Partnering team, processing redundancy cases, liaising with MyCSP, managing consultations with staff and trade unions, supporting programme directors and line managers, and ensuring all employment law requirements are met. The organisation is a highly unionised environment, so experience working collaboratively with trade union representatives is essential, preferably from a large public sector organisation.

Job purpose

The Communications & Marketing Officer is a key role within our busy Communications Team. They will support the wider Willow team in delivering on plans to raise the charity’s profile and increase supporter engagement. The Communications Team supports the communications needs of all teams across the organisation.

Principal responsibilities and duties

• Contribute to, and help to evolve, Willow’s communications activity, including emails, website, marketing and social media
• Work with the Willow teams to plan and deliver a regular calendar of content, ensuring the communication and marketing needs of colleagues across the organisation are met
• Manage the promotion of fundraising campaigns and events
• Engage with press, supporters, beneficiaries, partners, volunteers and medical professionals to help establish Willow as a national brand
• Gather and create engaging content, including case studies, images and videos, to be used to raise awareness of Willow’s work locally and nationally
• Develop and manage working relationships with creative agencies, printers and freelancers to deliver high quality communications, on time and within budget

Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to use your experience as a Psychologist to support vulnerable adults in Bristol?

St Mungo’s Assertive Contact and Engagement (ACE) Service works with people with mental health needs who face barriers to support, and are not actively engaged with other mental health services. We operate across Bristol supporting people and communities that may have had difficulty accessing services that fully meet their needs in the past. 

The ACE Clinical Psychologist provides clinical leadership to the service as well as delivering therapy in a psychologically-led, trauma-informed mental health engagement service. The ACE service provides home- or community-based support/social interventions and location-based therapy for people who would otherwise need statutory mental health services, but who experience barriers such as multiple/chronic exclusion, complex trauma, personality disorder, and so-called ‘chaotic behaviours’ that would likely make current statutory services inaccessible for them. Key aspects of the role include:

• Provide clinical leadership for the service.
• Lead, line manage and deliver the therapy aspect of the service.
• Lead and provide psychological assessments, formulations and interventions in group and one-to-one settings.
• Work in close partnership with the Service Manager and other managers to ensure that all aspects of the service are fully psychologically informed.

This post is offered on a part time basis (30 hours per week), to include Tuesdays and Fridays, with other days to be agreed.

About you

We are looking for a Psychologist with a passion for working with individuals and groups who face inequalities in accessing substance use and / or mental health services; and for developing services that are fully responsive to their needs.

You will also be experienced in supporting staff (psychologists and/or non-qualified staff) who are working with clients who experience complex trauma, substance use and homelessness – to foster psychological ideas and interventions.

You will hold a doctorate level qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology and be eligible for or hold chartered status with BPS.

Job Title: Community Centre Manager

Salary: £45,000-£49,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week, with some evening and weekend work)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Community Centre Manager to lead the operations, programming, and partnership development of a vibrant community space serving both residents and the wider neighbourhood. Head of Teacher Support leads a team delivering professional development for teachers of physics across England. The team manages a range of professional development programmes covering Early Years to Key Stage 5. The postholder will have specific responsibility for the strategic leadership and management of the team as well as managing delivery of external funding contracts.

AmplifyChange has an exciting new job opportunity for a Grants Manager to join our dynamic team of dedicated sexual and reproductive health and rights specialists. The Grants Manager will be responsible for accompanying grantee partner organisations through the grant making process; from assessing funding applications to providing performance and risk oversight for a portfolio of SRHR advocacy grants. In addition, the Grants Manager provides technical expertise for grantees on organisational strengthening and advocacy and campaigning. Key to the role is the sharing of knowledge across the portfolio and monitoring of grantee partners. Job holders will work closely with the team of Grants Officers to ensure grants move efficiently through the grant management cycle, alongside the broader AmplifyChange team. The Grants Manager reports to the Head of Grant making. Fluency in French is essential for this role due to AmplifyChange operating as a bilingual fund. In addition to this, we are looking for experience in Francophone Africa and/or the Middle East. We are also looking to complement existing team skills with knowledge and experience working on SRHR Advocacy themes in particular youth programming/ activism or any of our crosscutting things eg climate justice, mental health and pleasure based sexual health.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage a portfolio of international grants, ensuring compliance with internal procedures

2. Provide high quality technical SRHR support and coaching to groups to support them throughout the grant including  preparing for contracting and regular performance reviews

3. Collaborate with the team to support the development and management of new grant calls

4. Screen and review grant applications and budgets against pre-defined criteria to recommend whether a grant application should, or should not, be reviewed by the independent Technical Review Panel

5. Maintain oversight of financial and contractual compliance of a portfolio of grants

6. Work closely with the Grants Compliance Team and Grant Operations Team to ensure smooth processes

7. Identify and contribute to lessons learning and knowledge sharing among grantees and support external communications of AmplifyChange supported grants

8. Provide ongoing technical expertise to political and situational analysis of SRHR in the relevant countries

9. Represent AmplifyChange as necessary to support outreach and learning with civil society, donors and potential donors

10. Provide inputs to organisational strategic development and review of progress

11. Engage with the field of philanthropy and grants management to stay informed of best practices

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

This is a UK based, full time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position, reporting to the Head of Grant Making. AmplifyChange is based in Bath, and we operate on a hybrid working model which would include coming to the office at least once a week. Unfortunately, we are unable to support visa sponsorship for this role and can only accept applications from those with proof of the right to work in the UK. Requests for flexible working arrangements will be considered. International and national travel will be required.

Basic salary range:             £: 41,000 – 44,000 per year

If so, St Giles Trust is looking for a Personal Wellbeing Navigator to oversee the delivery of Personal Wellbeing services to referrals of community offenders and prison leavers, including families, made by the Probation Service in North Yorkshire.

About this key role
You will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison. This will involve undertaking assessment and action planning with individual service users which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved, and creating a safe and trusting environment, using trauma informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users. You will deliver a range of interventions to service users, including group work sessions where required, and work with service users flexibly, meeting and undertaking interventions in a range of prescribed locations across a wide geographical area.

We will also rely on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies including Probation, Prisons and partners, and work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales and in line with specified quality standards. Using agreed CRM databases, recording all activity relating to caseload and ensuring all information is recorded within agreed deadlines are all also vital aspects of the role.

• Experience of working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
• Knowledge of the requirements of managing a caseload, including maintain and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals and keeping to deadlines
• An understanding of the barriers faced by people with complex and multiple needs
• The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
• Impressive interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, verbal and written
• A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work.
