The Advice & Wellbeing Team at KCLSU are looking for a Triage and Administration Assistant to be the first point of contact for our vital service for student's at KCL. 
 
As the Triage and Administrative Assistant, it is your role to support the KCLSU Advice service to deliver high quality support to students who need help with issues impacting their studies. This will be done by ensuring excellent management of the Advice shared inbox, consistent record keeping using our case management system and communicating with both students and staff about our service. KCLSU Advice often supports students experiencing difficult circumstances and so as a team, we work effectively and empathetically. 
 
You will need to be confident in understanding complex policy and processes to ensure students are triaged appropriately and efficiently, enabling advisors to provide timely and tailored support. 
 
Key responsibilities include; 

• Supporting and completing a variety of administrative tasks relating to the KCLSU Advice service, in particular triage and casework.
• Maintaining accurate and consistent record keeping including using the Case Management System
• Administrate the KCLSU Advice inbox including processing referrals, removing duplicates, providing initial responses and flagging urgent queries.
• Representing KCLSU Advice at occasional outreach events to raise awareness of our service and educate students on the support offered.
• Provide administrative support for the Student Panel Volunteer project and any other relevant KCLSU Advice related projects
• Developing and maintaining up to date knowledge of the Advice Service procedures and practices and incorporate them into work effectively.
• Being a proactive and solution focused team member to support the service to meet student needs, particularly during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities:

The post holder will be working with socially isolated individuals to identify meaningfully enriching opportunities to reduce feelings of loneliness, some of whom may have complex and challenging welfare needs, to develop actions plans and coordinate support to overcome any barriers preventing successful connection into these enriching opportunities, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals, have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of the issues affecting the Armed Forces community. Individuals with a social prescribing or working aged veteran support background are encouraged to apply.

This is a community-based position working from home but covering the South Wales region, delivering both remote and face to face support. A part-time role developing, curating, delivering and finessing training for two distinct audiences – training for those who have low digital confidence, as well as young people, in how to use digital devices effectively and efficiently; and also training for those who may come into contact with, or wish to learn about, digital poverty, including staff of corporates and community providers. 

The former audience – learning about digital skills – will need to gain knowledge and understanding about the foundational elements of using laptops, tablets and smartphones.  This includes Essential Digital Skills such as setting passwords, connecting to Wi-Fi and using keyboards, as well as soft skills such as staying safe online, critical thinking and recognising fake news or AI generated imagery.

Key responsibilities

• Work with CEO and SMT to gain a strong understanding of the content we wish to deliver.
• Design a range of standardised training materials, developing curriculum plans, which are able to be tailored easily for cohorts.

The role is remote based - the whole team works from home - but you will need to be able to regularly travel across the UK including potential overnight stays and evening working.  You must feel comfortable being the person who sets up at a training event, and have a hands-on approach.  (The costs of travel are, of course, covered.)

We are seeking an experienced and strategic fundraising leader to shape and deliver a new long-term high value giving strategy, driving significant income growth across corporates, philanthropy, trusts, foundations and statutory funders. This pivotal role will reinvigorate our approach to high value fundraising aligning with our new organisational strategy and refreshed brand. To expand our pipeline, grow income and build sustainable partnerships and relationships and explore new funding opportunities.

About the Role

• Develop and implement a three-year high-value fundraising strategy and roadmap, underpinned by research, insight, KPIs, and measurable milestones.
• Manage income and expenditure budgets, ensuring financial targets are met, risks are mitigated, and performance is tracked against KPIs.
• Lead relationship-building and networking efforts, cultivating a strong pipeline of prospects and donors including high net worth individuals, trusts, corporates, and major grantmakers.
• Inspire and engage organisational leaders, staff, and volunteers in the identification and stewardship of key funders, ensuring collaborative relationship management.
• Drive the development of tailored funding propositions, working cross-functionally to align funder interests with organisational programmes and long-term goals.

Our service aims to reduce the harm to children and young people (aged 18 and under), within the Child Exploitation (CE) and Missing service area, and C&YP (aged 24 and under), within the substance misuse service area.

Job Description

The role of Young Person's Practitioner (Risk and Resilience) is an excellent opportunity to make a direct and valued difference to the lives of children and young people (C&YP), who are at significant risk of experiencing child exploitation, substance misuse, or going missing from home.

Providing tailored support and guidance to children, young people, and families, this role will actively contribute to achieving high standards of care, quality, and positive outcomes - supporting service users to fulfil their potential, through consistent and meaningful participation.

Main Duties:

• Providing tailored one-to-one support, guidance, and interventions.
• Assessing the needs of children and young people, determining appropriate support plans and pathways, and informing risk reduction plans - supporting access to additional or specialist services where necessary.
• Ensuring that referrals, support, care, and risk management are of a high quality, with ease of transition.
• Developing sustainable joint service work with referring agencies, local authorities, children’s social care, and children and families services (CFS).
• Ensuring timely and appropriate data recording – including tracking, outcome monitoring, KPI monitoring, and assisting with the production of feedback reports.
• Providing consultation, information, training, and presentations, to a wide range of stakeholders, from varied settings (we can help to build your skills in training provision if required).

This role works in partnership with a wide range of partner agencies and commissioners, providing continuous opportunities to build your network and knowledge within the Children’s Social Care Sector.  We will also support you to build service-area specialisms, in the areas of Substance Misuse, Child Exploitation, Missing from Home, or Families work. To plan, prepare and deliver a range of Forest School sessions, with guidance/instruction from the CEO, and support from school staff. Groups will include children and adults with learning disabilities and mental health concerns. The Forest School leader will be expected to:

· Plan and deliver Forest School education-based activities to a wide age range.

· Create and maintain a safe, engaging and supportive environment, demonstrating flexibility in planning and running sessions in response to varying/changing needs of the groups.

Dadzclub is seeking a dedicated, creative, and tenacious individual to take on the role of Dadzclub Coordinator in Southampton. This exciting and rewarding position will play a key role in supporting fathers and male caregivers in the local community, providing group activities, one-to-one support, and promoting the important role of dads in their children’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a weekly Walk 'n' Talk group for dads

• Provide one-to-one support meetings and offer a triage service to assess individual needs, sign posting dads towards further support

• Supervise the delivery of Dadzclub Stay & Play sessions across three Saturday morning locations

• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers supporting the programme
