Job Title: People Change & Organisational Development Manager
Salary: £55,000 per annum (Pro-Rata)
Location: Gilwell Park, Chingford, London (Hybrid minimum of 1 day per week in the office, sometimes two)
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (6 months)
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced People Change and Organisational Development Manager to help shape how people experience work at Scouts.
You’ll lead work across three key areas:
- Culture – helping bring our Values in Action to life across the employee journey
- Performance – leading the review and implementation of our performance and competency framework
- Engagement – developing and delivering our employee engagement plan
Key Responsibilities
As our People Change and Organisational Development Manager, you will:
- Lead projects that improve culture, performance and employee experience
- Work with managers, leaders and colleagues to introduce new ways of working
- Develop and deliver clear communication, engagement and training activities
- Lead workshops, consultations and working groups
- Use employee feedback and data to identify priorities and measure impact
- Support managers and leaders through organisational change
About You
What you’ll bring as our People Change and Organisational Development Manager:
- Significant experience in HR, organisational development or people change
- Experience delivering culture, performance or employee engagement projects
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence working with and influencing senior leaders
- Ability to use data and feedback to inform decisions
- Resilience and adaptability in a changing environment
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent professional experience
