Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Fundraising Manager (maternity cover) role. This position involves managing and developing a portfolio of major donors, securing significant gifts, and delivering tailored stewardship to enhance supporter relationships and maximise income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand a portfolio of major donors and HNWIs, cultivating long-term relationships through personalised engagement strategies.
- Secure donations ranging from five to seven figures by developing targeted fundraising plans aligned with organisational goals.
- Research and identify new prospects, qualifying leads, and maintaining a pipeline to support future income targets.
- Prepare compelling proposals, impact reports, and tailored communications to deepen donor engagement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, trustees, and volunteers to facilitate donor meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities.
- Support strategic fundraising initiatives, including capital campaigns and targeted appeals, to diversify income streams.
- Maintain accurate records of all donor interactions and income forecasts within the CRM system, adhering to GDPR and organisational policies.
- Produce regular reporting on portfolio activity, pipeline status, and fundraising performance.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience managing relationships with major donors, HNWIs, or high-value clients, with a successful track record of securing significant gifts.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to develop personalised engagement plans.
- Strong prospect research abilities and experience using wealth screening tools or networks.
- Competent in managing fundraising pipelines and working towards income targets.
- Skilled in proposal writing, report development, and using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge.
- Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, trustees, and volunteers.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
- Discreet, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent with a passion for supporting charitable causes.
What’s on Offer:
- Salary: £20 per hour
- Location: Remote
- Contract: Full time, initial 12 months
