Press Officer
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with a prominent health charity on a fantastic an interim Press Officer role. This position offers the opportunity manage diverse media inquiries, and craft compelling content within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the media inbox, reviewing and prioritising enquiries efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Develop and produce engaging patient case studies through sensitive interviews and storytelling.
- Handle a wide range of press activity, including broadcast, radio, and national media relations.
- Collaborate with the health relations team to create articles and content.
- Support the organisation’s media efforts related to campaigns and other health initiatives.
- Work flexibly, adapting to varying workloads and prioritising tasks effectively.
Person Specification
- Proven experience in a busy press office, ideally within political campaigning, health charities, or similar environments.
- Strong writing skills, capable of producing clear, engaging, and impactful content.
- Empathy and excellent communication skills for interviewing and storytelling.
- Familiarity with media management tools such as Vuelio or similar PR platforms.
- Confident user of Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing fluctuating workloads.
What’s on Offer
£126.88 - £142.67 per day via PAYE + holiday pay
