An exciting opportunity exists for a Part-Time Director to join the team. As Part-Time Director, you will lead the organisations’ vision and direction across all areas, overseeing strategic litigation that sets important legal precedents; driving research and policy initiatives that influence debate and decision-making ensuring the delivery of accessible advice and guidance to those navigating legal or civic challenges. This is a part-time, permanent role, home based within the UK with meetings and in person events in London.
Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will possess senior leadership experience in a legal, policy or advocacy organisation with a track record of strategic delivery and managing external partnerships. A strong understanding of UK legal and political issues affecting Muslim communities, including civil liberties, counter-terrorism and discrimination. You will be a confident communicator with experience representing organisations publicly and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with fundraising, donor engagement and knowledge of non-profit operations or governance would be an advantage however it is not essential for the role.

Job Description
This is an opportunity to join Community Housing as their next Chief Financial Officer, responsibilities will include:
Working closely with the rest of the Executive Team and the Board to contribute to the strategic leadership and management of the organisation, playing a crucial role providing financial challenge to the Executive and the Board.
Providing inspirational financial leadership to Community Housing to ensure that the organisation meets its financial strategic aims and objectives aligned to Corporate Plan, Vision and Values.
Managing the finance function in order to deliver robust financial controls, improving performance and mitigating the risk for Community Housing in the long run.
Leading, motivating and developing the Finance, IT, Procurement and Risk functions.
The Successful Applicant
- You will be a CCAB or equivalent qualified accountant with a proven track record of achievement, with the ability to drive and manage a diverse workforce.
- The ideal candidate will have worked in social housing or other relevant industries, with experience managing a finance function. It is also important you have previously attended board, audit or finance committee meetings.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, dynamic and commercially minded individual to join the Senior Management Team of one of the UK’s leading museums. Working alongside the Director and Board of Trustees, the Director of Finance and Resources will oversee the financial management of the organisation.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with a proven track record of operating at a senior level. They will have the ability to offer insight and challenge for future development, whilst ensuring the financial sustainability and growth.
The Director of Finance & Resources is responsible driving the quality and transparency of financial management and reporting, ensuring robust financial controls and the smooth running and management of Museum and Trading finances.
With experience at Board level, they must be comfortable with presenting to Boards, have the ability to develop strategy and present business plans.
