Are you a Midlands based Events or Community Fundraiser open to a contract? We have a 9 month contract for a Fundraising & Events Manager which may go permanent.

We are delighted to be supporting a UK charity who offer fully supported breaks for children and adults with disabilities or complex needs, creating safe, inclusive experiences grounded in compassion and community. They are offering hybrid with 1-2 days a week in the Rugby office.

The role
A chance to join the team at a pivotal moment as the interim Fundraising & Events Manager and work closely with the Fundraising & Communications Director to develop new and existing income streams to further grow their c£1m income.

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of fundraising events from mass participation, community and virtual supporter activities.
  • Build strong, genuine relationships with donors and supporters of the charity from any income stream.
  • Identify and evaluate new event opportunities, including digital and hybrid fundraising activities.
  • Support volunteer-led fundraising groups, providing resources, guidance, and motivation to regional networks.
  • Support the growth of digital fundraising channels including online giving platforms, peer-to-peer and crowdfunding campaigns.
  • Support income growth in other areas such as Trusts fundraising from smaller funders.

The candidate
The team are looking for someone with a can do attitude to support them in a time of transition.
You need strong experience in fundraising, with a proven record of securing income from individual giving, events, or community sources.
You need to have an appetite for growth and business development.
