This is a newly created administrative role to increase capacity in Londonwide LMCs, the membership organisation representing approximately 7,000 NHS General Practitioners in over 1,100 practice teams in London, providing pan-London leadership and shared committee services for its members. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Workforce-Training and Innovation team, which provides project management across the organisation and training for constituents across the 27 Londonwide Boroughs that make up Londonwide LMCs. The team also coordinates a range of supportive services for practices that are delivered through managed relationships with associates.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Workforce-Training and Innovation and work within the WTI team, playing an integral part in linking our work across the directorates at Londonwide LMCs and externally with our practices and constituents.
The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to the Workforce-Training and Innovation team, enabling the smooth running of projects, scheduling meetings and supporting events. It would be helpful if candidates have excellent administration and note-taking skills. We would like to hear from candidates who have experience in:
- Owning the administrative tasks required to enable smooth team operations.
- Attending team meetings and other project meetings, providing administrative support, and ensuring an accurate record of the meeting and actions is made.
This is a full-time (35 hours per week), permanent post, but applicants seeking part-time/job-share roles are welcome.
As an organisation, we work flexibly, and regular home working is supported. The post is contractually based at our offices located in central London near Euston, where we host quarterly connect days for all staff. Whilst regular home working is supported, some travel or office attendance may be required to attend pre-planned meetings or events.
The salary for the role will be £25,000 pa plus membership of the group personal pension scheme with a 16% employer pension contribution (£4,000, making total remuneration £29,000). Duties and responsibilities
• Responsibility for managing Action Tutoring’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube). The role of Programme Lead (Training and Reconciliation) is a key new position in supporting Place for Hope’s strategic goal of growing our partnerships with faith communities to support and equip more people to reach their potential as peacemakers.
The Programme Lead will co-ordinate all work related to our new 5-year partnership with the United Reformed Church (URC). The partnership will involve two key areas (i) the development and staged roll-out of a mediation team within the URC who will work ecumenically with the wider Place for Hope Practitioner team; and (ii) embedding the understanding, skills, and confidence in how to deal well with conflict, change and difference through a set programme of trainings.

Assessment Centres are fast paced services where people are referred in, usually from the street, and rapidly referred on to appropriate longer term accommodation. The services are short stay, and staff provide wrap around support and liaison with several external partners, including physical health, mental health, substance use and housing.
