As an Employment Coach with our Employcare Project you will be supporting unpaid carers living in Manchester; providing support and coaching in order for them to re-enter paid employment or voluntary roles. The successful candidates will manage a small caseload of carers and provide them with 1:1 support, helping them overcome barriers to employment and training. You will be responsible for supporting them through every stage of their journey, enabling participants to address their barriers and realise their aspirations.
This role is subject to a Basic DBS check.

We are recruiting for 1.5 full-time equivalent roles, but are open to a mixture of parttime hours, so please put in your application how many hours you are interested in.

- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure content consistency and alignment with brand messaging.
- Measure the effectiveness of content initiatives through rigorous impact assessment processes.
- Collaborate closely with a dynamic network of external freelancers and internal subject matter experts, pooling diverse talents to produce innovative and immersive content experiences.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops between key stakeholders to co-create content and align strategies, ensuring children and young people’s needs and voices are at the heart of everything we do.
- Develop and nurture relationships with these stakeholders to gather insights, feedback, and collaboration opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and differentiation in content strategy and execution.

Holder House is set in the leafy neighbourhood of Abingdon and provides care and support to 14 people from 18+ living with, and recovering from, enduring mental health issues. The Team Manager reports to and will be supported by the Registered Manager.
As well as ensuring the quality of service and support provided to people who use our services, you will line manage front line staff and organise any building maintenance requirements. Whether you’re carrying out an induction, undertaking an investigation, putting team development plans in place or providing support to our business development team, one thing’s for sure – you won't be short of challenge and variety. We’re currently working towards being awarded ‘Outstanding’ at our next CQC inspection and you will play an integral part in helping us to achieve this.
Substantial experience gained managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs is a given, as well as being outcome driven and able to lead by example using your firm but inclusive management style. You’re open and encouraging too and have lots of tact and diplomacy. What's more, you're great at managing conflicting priorities on time, have a flexible attitude to working hours and are willing to participate in on call arrangements. And, if you have experience of carrying out investigations, writing reports/recommendations or managing budgets, even better, although it's not essential as we offer an extensive induction and training programme for managers.
The service operates two sleep-ins per night (paid at £70.47 per 9-hour sleep-in) and an on-call rota (paid at £18.00) to cover a sleep-in/day shift in the event of absence – applicants should be flexible and available to cover sleep-ins and fill in on the on-call rota where needed.
This is a permanent full time role requiring the post holder to work 37.5 hours per week.

They will ensure that volunteers receive training, development and supervision to support the families referred us, and that high standards of practice are maintained. You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. But we do ask that you are business minded and have worked in a fast paced, service environment where you put the customer’s needs first. You’ll also need to showcase a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and have a creative eye for displays. Your role
As Shop Manager at Scope’s Stamford Hill shop, you’ll have autonomy to run your shop using your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. Context of Role:
Our Head of Young People's Services is a critical, strategic and operational role within Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone. As a supporting member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will work closely with the Director of Operations, CEO and the Director of Finance to ensure the charity delivers its vision and strategic objectives. This includes strategies for sustaining and overseeing the ongoing transformation of Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zones' operational business plan and its operational processes and infrastructure. Your leadership skills will play a crucial role (in conjunction with the leadership team) in establishing a platform and environment for growth by creating a best-in-class, people-first, employee-of-choice that changes the prospect of local children and young people (aged 5 to 25 years). You must be abreast of new opportunities (sourced independently and through your colleagues) and advise the leadership team and board on all Universal and Targeted Service operational matters, including its performance, risk, forecast/trajectories, and the general state of play.
You will need to show exceptional skills and the ability to meet KPI’s relating to (but, not limited to) leadership skills, the ability to design and deliver organisational operational plans, risk management, departmental budget management, stakeholder relations and organisational safeguarding responsibility.

What's the role about?

- Ensure data and metrics from Assemble are available to meet business need, funding bid requirements and our annual reporting requirements internally and externally Identify and champion opportunities to get even more from Assemble to meet our volunteering strategy and improve and enhance our support for volunteers and the user experience on Assemble.
- This role would have an individual specialism but with the ability to be flexible to cover the priorities required across the department and the UK wide needs.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of volunteering innovation, best practice and sector standards.
- Demonstrable track record of having successfully and effectively developed a range of volunteering roles and schemes across an organisation.
- Experience of providing operational advice and guidance on volunteer involvement to people at all levels and building effective stakeholder relationships.

Bereavement Support Service Lead - Scotland
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Rate: £37,500 per annum
Reporting to: Head of Support Services
Base: Glasgow with travel to other locations across Scotland as required. This is a new role and initially will require a regular presence at our offices in Finnieston, Glasgow. Once established, hybrid working will be an option.
Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies.
We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying.
We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.
Child Bereavement UK has an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to lead on the provision, evaluation and ongoing development of a Scotland-wide bereavement support service that ensures families and professionals can access high-quality bereavement support when a baby or child has died, or when children or young people are bereaved. The Bereavement Support Service Lead will also support the strategic development of the Charity’s services in Scotland.
The Bereavement Support Service Lead - Scotland will:
- Lead/manage/contribute to and further develop the provision of a blended model of bereavement support across Scotland.
- Provide training, consultancy, and support for professionals whose work brings them into contact with bereaved families.
- Collaborate with partners to develop bereavement support services across Scotland.
- Support Child Bereavement UK’s Fundraising Team in the generation of sustainable income to fund our Scottish operations, providing information and data to support applications and reporting.
