Responsibilities will include, but not limited to;

• Providing comprehensive administration support to the Director of People, Culture & Governance, and the wider team;
• Provide diary management to the Director including scheduling appointments and meetings.
• Setup and track PCG leadership meetings.
• Ensure the Director has relevant papers in advance of scheduled meetings.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics as required.
• Drafting correspondence, making telephone calls and attending meetings as requested by the Director.
• Coordinating, attending and taking minutes and tracking actions for OLT and Heads meetings as required.
• Following up on actions from meetings on behalf of the Director, ensuring that they are addressed by the appropriate people within agreed timescales.
• To provide administrative support in creating presentations and documents for Board meetings, Organisational Leadership Team meetings (OLT), and other key forums.
• Providing project management for People and Culture related activities, projects and meetings;
• Support project planning and implementation of People & Culture initiatives, such as staff engagement activities.
• Support the preparation of reports and maintain accurate project records.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar role, the ability to take concise and accurate minutes, to work under pressure to tight and competing deadlines whilst able to maintain excellent interpersonal skills to deal with people at all levels. In addition, an overarching passion for the charity’s values and ethos is key to your success in this role alongside an understanding of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging and how it applies to the work of Turn2us.

Person Specification

Skills:

• Good oral and written communication skills.

Our client is one of the largest women's hostels in the UK for vulnerable women affected by homelessness. They offer support to women with a range of complex needs, including substance misuse, mental health issues and domestic violence, and provide these support services in a warm, welcoming and secure environment. As a Support Worker you will work with a range of women with complex support needs and backgrounds and will empower and support them to reach their goals, giving them the necessary tools to achieve these. You work to identify risk and conduct regular reviews of support plans and risk assessments to ensure that the needs of those women on your caseload are met with a proactive and motivating approach. You will also work with other agencies, linking women in with various services that will support them in a holistic way.

As HR Business Partner, you will:

• Work in partnership with the leadership teams and stakeholders in your assigned business areas to help shape, develop and deliver people solutions in line with the needs and priorities of the organisation
• Provide expert and professional HR advice and support to staff and managers, ensuring they are equipped to fulfil their role
• Drive organisation results and increase colleague engagement, by working with senior stakeholders to identify and manage risk in support of the people and organisational strategy
• Work with colleagues across the wider HR team to develop the HR service and implement specific HR projects and policies linked with the people strategy

What you will require:

• CIPD qualified or equivalent, or be qualified by professional HR experience with evidence of proactive CPD
• Experience of delivering solution-focused, professional HR generalist advice to senior stakeholders, underpinned by an up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, ideally gained in contract-driven Charity or not-for-profit organisation
• The ability to simultaneously manage numerous people-related projects across multiple business areas, and effectively navigate conflicting deadlines and priorities
• Experience of working with HR systems (ADP would be ideal), manipulating and analysing data and disseminating insights to a variety of audiences across a wide range of People matters
• Proven experience of influencing and coaching managers through a wide range of employee relations issues
• Experience of managing change, including redundancy, TUPE and culture change

They are now looking to recruit for a new Family Centre Manager, to oversee their family centre based in Mole Valley.

As Family Centre Manager you will lead and manage the daily operations of the Family Centre provision to support families with children and young people aged 0-19 years (up to 25 years with disabilities and additional needs) that are identified as the most need of support or have emerging needs. You will oversee a dedicated team of Family Support Workers and will develop partnerships and embed  working protocols with relevant partners to deliver a range of targeted, integrated early childhood services. You will manage the collection and analysis of national and local data in partnership with the local authority and partners, to evaluate and demonstrate the impact of the children's centre services and inform future planning using Early Help Management system (EHM).

To apply for this role, you will have extensive experience of working with children, young people and families, and will have managerial experience in a relevant professional area. You will have experience of establishing and maintaining effecting working relationships with other agencies and professions and will have demonstrable experience in collating, analysing and reporting data from a range of sources and using this to make recommendations for performance improvement. Previous experience of using the casework management system Early Help Management (EHM) is desirable.
