About the role
Working as a member of our dedicated Youth Team you will engage with targeted communities to provide and promote inclusive opportunities for young people and young adults to develop positive working relationships that will enable them to achieve their potential.
You will provide a valuable resource for Groundwork NE & Cumbria to enable it to achieve the Trust objectives. Dealing with a variety of Youth project delivery tasks in a diverse and busy internal and external environment, ensuring deadlines are met whilst maintaining quality.
A bit about you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Youth Work Qualification at Level 3 or above
- Proven experience of working with either children and young people or other vulnerable groups.
- An ability to set up and run groups and to record the progress of individuals within the groups.
- Some understanding of, and a sensitive approach towards the situations, needs and difficulties faced by young people and particularly by young carers.
- An ability to work positively as part of a team and independently, seeking support from colleagues where required
- Excellent communication skills

This permanent role pays a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience. This is a hybrid role in London.
The Trusts Fundraising Manager will be proactive in identifying and developing new and existing relationships with trusts, foundations and statutory bodies in order to generate income and work within the fundraising team to reach agreed income targets. You will develop and manage a realistic weighted pipeline of trusts and foundations income including the development of new multi-year and growth fund opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Trusts & Foundations funding, timescales and reporting requirements. You will have demonstrable experience of securing multi-year funding at the six-figure level.

Community Connectors will support patients to access a wide range of community services and resources including social care, housing, family, debt and employment counselling that support maintaining good health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work jointly with the Mental Health Practitioner in conducting assessments, including risk assessment
- Work with patients to support them in identifying their socially determined needs and goals, provide self- management tools and facilitate the development of personal support plans

- Promote independence through an enabling asset-based approach that draws on individuals’ strengths, preferences and ‘natural’ support networks
- Assist with community resource mapping exercises and maintain a database of community resources; map where there are gaps in provision across the PCN and wider geography and work with other VCS organisations to develop resources where most needed
- Promote and support (where necessary) advised follow up actions from physical health checks for people with SMI
- Work with the service to identify opportunities to expand provision particularly in local communities where there is a lack of service provision identified
- Broker and establish new partnerships between public and voluntary sector agencies to enhance service delivery and access to services
- Develop and sustain professional relationships with service users, partner agencies and appropriate external agencies

Your primary role will be to keep our service and young people, safe. You will help to contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations. In addition, you will complete health and safety checks, ensuring the service is clean and tidy and reporting any repairs. You will be lone working as part of the role, so you will need to be comfortable with decision making and following procedures.
You will work a shift of 8pm-7am on a four night on, four night off rota. Although these are long shifts, you will get four days off after, which can provide a great work life balance.

The Fundraising Co-Ordinator will raise the profile and awareness of Young Bristol and working with the Head of Fundraising develop a fundraising work plan to qualify and develop a range of key funding streams. The post holder will help to develop and ensure the effective delivery of the fundraising plan in line with Young Bristol’s strategy. Look Ahead Care and Support own and manage a mixed portfolio of properties across London and the Home Counties. The organisation accommodates customers with a range of support needs. The Repairs Manager will work as part of the Property Services team. Assuming day-to-day responsibility for the oversight and coordination of all repair and maintenance activities across all tenures (Supported, Unsupported, Intermediate and Market Rent).
Responsible for working collaboratively with the Customer Contact Centre to facilitate the timely and efficient completion of repairs and maintenance tasks in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements. Offering technical expertise, whilst being a lead escalation for Contractor Management and Commercial Meetings.
What you'll do:
Instigate Orders
Authorise orders and approve variation price works from agreed SoR's. Offer technical support to Customer Contact Centre to ensure that works are value for money. Promptly instruct contractor and confirm agreed timescale. Liaise with scheme mangers as necessary.
Order Approvals
Approve and review high value orders, variations, and completed works prior to invoice.
Quality Assurance
Lead on all areas of quality assurance including sharing site visit responsibility with Property Inspector. Manage requests for pre inspections and post inspections with Property Inspector. Lead on Damp and Mould quality inspections and follow up reports. Communicate inspection KPIs to key stakeholders.
Works Delivery
Ensure that all works are completed within agreed time frame work and that this is accurately monitored through weekly WIP reports.
Contractor Management
Ensure strict adherence to Contractor code of conduct and agreed SLAs. Lead contract progress meetings to manage performance.
Complaint and Query Lead
Manage all complaints responses related to repairs from inception and act as escalation point for repairs and void teams.
