Tabard Court is a mental health supported accommodation for individual with significant offending histories. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to customers with a range of mental health needs - emotional, social, physical or domestic -, who have had contact with the Criminal Justice System. You will be skilled in engaging both customers and stakeholders and have a good understanding of the needs and diversity of this client group. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a therapeutic environment that at times can be challenging and provide quality evidenced based care and risk management strategies working closely with clinical colleagues. You will have a thorough understanding of the principles of recovery, be highly motivated and committed, making a significant contribution to the development of the service and building on your previous experience and skills in the fields of mental health and/or criminal justice system.
The post holder will facilitate the liaison between Tabard Court and mental health services in the area and work flexibly to respond to emerging needs and effectively address the needs of the customer case load.
This role will include shift working including: every other weekends, early shifts (8am start) and late shifts (until 10pm).
What you'll do:
* Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/ Manager
* Lead on an area of specialism (e.g. ETE, health and wellbeing) and build partnerships and develop internal and external opportunities for service-users in this area
* Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions
* Conducting regular key work sessions that are innovative and engaging in order to develop and achieve goals
* Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
* Undertake all administrative work and keep accurate and comprehensive tenant/customer records to professional standards
* Providing support with daily living activities, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
* Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community
* Proactive development of links with local statutory and voluntary organizations to provide a range of engagement opportunities for customers in the community
* Develop knowledge around the local mental health system to ensure customers receive the best treatment available
* Empower customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled to

Our client is looking for a passionate and driven person to deliver a range of digital communications and GIS mapping outputs that will support the delivery of Nurturing Natural Connections Project. Building on the success of previous projects, this project continues to realise the Cumbernauld Living Landscape long-term vision to improve Cumbernauld’s green spaces for both people and wildlife, helping everyone in the community connect with the nature on their doorstep.
The candidate:
The successful candidate will have a relevant degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years’ experience in a communications/GIS related role. They will be skilled in creating high quality digital communicational outputs and have knowledge of monitoring these outputs for the purposes of report writing. The candidate:
The successful candidate will be educated to at least degree level in one of the following: conservation, ecology or related discipline - or equivalent with a minimum of three years previous experience in working in a nature policy environment, ideally in Scotland.
Main Objectives
The main objectives of the role are:

Delivery of NNC Advocacy Strategy, created during the Development Phase, championing green infra-structure and nature-positivity, with regards to reactive works for the Community Growth Areas (CGA) and proactive for the Town Centre development

Building on the existing work of the Trust, create relationships with the Local Planning Authority Planners; developers and businesses.

Develop detailed positions to enable the NNC partnership to contribute to and influence the implementation of Green Infrastructure to urban design and construct.

Gather evidence and develop a detailed proposal to improve biodiversity, including provision for bats, swift and sparrows, in developments, as well as retaining and enhancing well connected greenspaces, and prioritising native planting regimes to support wildlife across Cumbernauld.

Utilise current evidence from Wild Ways Well evaluations to demonstrate the positive links between increased biodiversity and improved health and wellbeing, helping to reinforce the need for good quality Green Infrastructure from a social perspective.

Main Objectives
The main objectives of the role are:
Habitat management

About the Role
The role of the Visitor Experience Duty Manager is to support the Visitor Experience Team (VE) with the management of gallery opening hours and the events calendar. Motivating and leading the VE Team, on a day-to-day basis, providing an inspiring, engaging and inclusive visitor experience for broad and diverse audiences.
This role will cover weekends, evening events and occasional leave days for the VE Team. Visitor Experience Duty Managers fulfil Duty Management responsibilities for the building to ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors and exhibitions/events.
Responsibilities
Operational and Health & Safety
- The VEDM (Visitor Experience Duty Manager) is responsible for opening and / or closing the building on their shift, and for the setting of alarms. They are also required, in an emergency, to organise maintenance of the building, including intruder and fire alarms. All Duty Managers are included on the call out list for possible out of hours alarm issues.
- In the event of an emergency or fire alarm the VEDM is required to manage a full building evacuation and work as the contact person to the fire brigade.
- To ensure that the building is safe and clean by checking all areas before the building is open to the public or before an event. Turning on/off all lighting and replacing bulbs where necessary, checking fuse boards and making minor repairs, cleaning toilets when necessary. Continue to monitor throughout the day, allocating deliveries to appropriate storage areas, checking toilet facilities and following general risk assessment for areas of prohibited public access.
- To manage and adhere to all Health and Safety and building security practices, including completing risk assessments for events. On the shifts when the Duty Manger is the only key holder in the building they must not leave the premises.
- To be responsible for upholding the premises licence according to the Licensing Act 2003, to ensure the café/bar adheres to alcohol licensing laws and to oversee the selling and consumption of alcohol within the building and any other licensed activities. To ensure that capacity numbers for events are not exceeded.
- The Duty Manager is required to turn on / off the show and ensure it is functioning correctly during gallery opening hours. Also, to ensure a curator or the Production Manager is informed of any faults, breakages etc.
- Lead and motivate Visitor Experience team members and volunteers to ensure the delivery of high standards of visitor and artwork care, safety, security, visitor welcome, wayfinding, building presentation and housekeeping.
- Brief the Visitor Experience Team Members and volunteers daily about their duties for the shift and ensure they have all the necessary resources in order to provide an excellent standard of customer service to all visitors.
- To be a First Aider and know the location of the First Aid boxes.
- To cover the break of the shop staff and/or VE team and to provide cover in the galleries, shop or Information Desk during busy periods or in an emergency.
