The position is a dual role. You’ll join as one of three dedicated Youth Workers and will lead on a portion of Free to Be Kids’ year-round follow-on support for vulnerable young people who we have already engaged via our Thrive Outside residentials. Crucially, a core aspect of the role will be leading an average of 8-10 of our residential projects across each year - working on the ground with the children, leading the volunteers, and helping make the projects special, safe, and transformative for vulnerable young people, many of whom have complex needs. You’ll be joining a small staff team of 9, supplemented by a vibrant and committed group of volunteers.
Attendance at approximately 8-10 five-six night residential projects per year outside London is a core component of this role. A full driving licence is not required but may be an advantage.

On offer to the right candidate:
Salary: Circa £29,000-£32,000, dependent on experience.
Hours: Fulltime: 37.5 hours per week. Essential attendance on at c.8-10 residential projects a year.
Leave: 25 days per year, plus bank holidays and up to 13 additional pre-set discretionary reward days in September and during the Christmas period.
Other benefits: 4% employer pension contribution paid on full base salary, rising by 1% per year of service, up to a maximum of 7%, hybrid working, office with great transport links, flexible working (outside core hours), employee reward scheme, a tight-knit effective team with great morale.
Based: Hybrid – our small office in Waterloo, London. Hybrid working is well established with the majority of the team splitting time around 50:50 between the office and home.

Who we’re looking for:
Our next Youth Work hero. You'll be fun, active, energised, resilient, and experienced in work with young people with complex needs, and looking to join an organisation you can believe in and who in return will believe and invest in you.
You’ll have multi years’ experience working alongside young people who might struggle in other settings and will be used to dealing with a range of behaviours and complex support needs, ideally including mental health support needs,with a good understanding of safeguarding. A basic level of comfortableness in the outdoors, resilience to keep going with a smile when it's wet outside, and the silliness to be the first to jump into the lake will see you in good stead for this role.
You’ll have the flexibility to work away from home on up to 10 week-long residential projects per year. Ideally, you’ll also have experience of leading projects for children – whether residential or non-residential. Experience of working on or leading residentials projects themselves is not required but may be an advantage.
We are a small, vibrant, fun and friendly staff team of 9, growing to 11 when these 2 Youth Worker vacancies are filled, supported by a committed volunteer base of around 200.

To plan and oversee QSA’s income generation and communications work. To strategically support the success of QSA as part of the leadership team.
Role overview
This is a linchpin role for QSA. We are looking for a hard-working, experienced and creative fundraiser. Our head of fundraising & communications oversees all of our income generation portfolio, including charitable trusts, public bodies, individual giving, and fundraising events.

Duties & responsibilities
Income generation
- To design and develop a fundraising strategy for QSA, incorporating a wide range of approaches, including statutory sources, charitable trusts, individual donations, legacies, earned income from training, and event fundraising.
- To set clear targets based on previous trends, and realistic aspirations for growth.
- To ensure all fundraising activity sits within the required legislative framework and complies with best practice, especially regarding donor consent.
- To ensure accurate financial information is presented within fundraising materials.
- To ensure that QSA fundraising applications are supported by up-to-date evidence of need, gained from relevant research and policy developments.
- To ensure that QSA fundraising applications are supported by up-to-date evidence of impact, gained from internal monitoring systems.
- To identify and lead major funding applications.
- To build strong and warm relationships with funders and donors of QSA.

Experience
- Significant experience of charity fundraising from a wide range of sources, especially charitable trusts and individual donors.

Main terms and conditions of employment
- QSA uses the local government pay scales for salaries. Your salary will be on NJC scale point 41-44, which starts at £56,463 (including London weighting) for a full-time/36 hours post. All appointments are made at bottom of scale.
- This is a permanent position.
- This post can be offered as a role to be worked between four and five days per week, so 28 hours to 36 hours per week. We pride ourselves on our flexible working practices.
- Leave entitlement for a full-time post is 25 days per year, plus 8 bank holidays, with the leave year running from January to December. This increases by 2 days after 3 years of service and a further 3 days after 5 years of service. QSA closes between Christmas and New Year and days falling within this period are not taken from your leave entitlement.
- QSA pays an additional 6% of salary into the QSA group personal pension, with a 2% staff contributory element.
- We have probationary periods of six months and the period of notice is 1 week during the probationary period and 8 weeks on its completion.
- QSA has a union recognition agreement with Unite although staff are welcome to join any trade union or none.
- This is a hybrid role. We see the benefits of being in the office with colleagues on a regular basis, and consider 2-3 days per week in person to be ideal for this role.

The Kent Infant Feeding Peer Supporter role is vital in the delivery of community Infant Feeding Peer Support within the region. FLEX is looking for a passionate advocate with a good understanding of the UK political system, of labour abuse and/ or exploitation and human trafficking in the UK, demonstrable experience of coalition working and building relationships with key stakeholders working in the anti-trafficking, employment rights, and/or immigration sectors and Project Management. This recruitment comes at an exciting and challenging time for our work at the intersection of employment rights and immigration policy and you will lead on the implementation of our Secure Reporting pilot funded by the GLA. This role will inform and support our work to influence and improve law, policy and practice affecting workers in high-risk sectors in the UK.
In this role, you will work on FLEX’s advocacy, lead on a London level Secure Reporting pilot and contribute to the joint research advocacy and project work of FLEX networks and and coalitions. These currently include the Labour Exploitation Advisory Group (LEAG) and the Taskforce on Victims of Trafficking in Immigration Detention, two networks made of expert organisations directly supporting people who have experienced or are at risk of exploitation. Above all this role requires someone with real passion and commitment to FLEX’s work to end labour exploitation and an excitement for working in a small, dynamic team.
About FLEX: Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX) is a research and policy organisation working towards an end to labour exploitation. FLEX seeks to achieve this vision through the prevention of labour abuses, protection of the rights of those affected or at risk of exploitation and by promoting best practice responses to labour exploitation through research and evidence-based advocacy. FLEX is a small organisation that packs a big punch in terms of policy change and influencing.

Community Rail Network is a national not-for-profit organisation supporting a growing ‘community rail’ movement, which helps communities get the most from their railways, promotes sustainable and inclusive travel, coordinates volunteering and place-making, and brings people together.
Community rail is made up of 76 community-based partnership organisations, and c.1,300 station friends volunteer groups and other community-led initiatives around Britain. About this role
This role is crucial for us, our members and their communities, especially at the current time, with our need to seize on the opportunities of rail reform and devolution, promote wider use of sustainable transport, and bring communities together. Skills and competencies

Other information
As you will be home-based, we are flexible about your location. The role:
The Building Operations Support Officer (Hard Services and Projects Coordinator) role has oversight of all external maintenance contractors ensuring all periodical compliance checks are completed, and that onsite contractors are fully inducted and are equipped with the necessary permits to work. This role requires working closely with the Building Operations Soft Services Officer and the Building Operations Coordinator.
The role ensures that Shakespeare’s Globe buildings (on site and off site) are appropriately maintained and in good conditions and working order; and will assist the Deputy Head of Estates and Capital Projects with the implementation of Health and Safety Policy across the Globe estate. This role will form an integral part of the Building Operations Emergency Response and 24/7 call out team.
The team:
The Building Operations and Security (BOPS) team plays a central role in ensuring that the Globe’s environment remains safe, compliant, and fully operational at all times. This team oversees the maintenance and performance of all building systems across the theatres, offices, public spaces, the Swan Bar and Restaurant, and offsite properties, while working closely with The Security team to keep the site safe for audiences, staff, and artists.
Working with other departments, the team supports the smooth running of performances, events, education programmes, and commercial activities by maintaining high standards of building safety, life-safety systems, and operational readiness. As part of this team, the Building Operations Support Officer (Hard Services & Projects Coordinator) plays a key role in managing essential maintenance, coordinating contractors, supporting compliance, and contributing to the Globe’s emergency response arrangements.
The skills:
- Proven experience coordinating hard FM services within a complex estate.
- Practical experience working with and overseeing external maintenance contractor.
- Experience managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and reactive repairs.
- Demonstrable experience maintaining and reviewing compliance documentation and statutory records.
- Experience supporting emergency response, call-out, or facilities-related incident management.
- Strong understanding of building compliance requirements, including Electrical testing, Legionella control water hygiene, Fire Risk Assessment processes.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Confident communicator and capable of liaising professionally with contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proactive, and consistently promoting a strong H&S culture.
- Calm, reliable, and responsive, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rota and attend out-of-hours incidents when necessary.

Position: Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) Support Worker
Location: Reading office with hybrid working arrangements and frequent travel. Role covers casework activity across Reading, South Oxfordshire, Vale of White Horse and Oxford City.
Contract: Permanent part time – 15 hours per week, weekdays.

About the role:
