The Role
Lead on the delivery of income to target through the key income streams, with a focus on driving corporate, community and event relationships.
Manage direct line reports of 2 Fundraising Officers.
Work with Head of Fundraising to build and manage a detailed fundraising budget, including income and expenditure.
Effectively manage, acquire and develop supporter relationships across the community to meet objectives.
The Candidate
A natural relationship based fundraiser who enjoys networking and building collaborative partnerships
Ideally experience in Corporate and or Community fundraising .
Previous line management Experience.

As the Head of Development you will shape and drive a new fundraising strategy on the back of the organisation’s 25th birthday and will inspire their team and key internal and external stakeholders to achieve fundraising success. Working closely with the Deputy Director, Director and Board to realise fundraising ambitions, you will provide hands on leadership to maximise income from all areas with a particular focus on philanthropy. You will develop strong relationships with existing funders, sponsors, supporters and other stakeholders to ensure effective and exciting stewardship processes are in place.
The selected candidate will have a proven track record of raising six figure donations through personalised and sophisticated approaches to donors and will have examples of personally leading cultivation and stewardship of major donors. This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices for three days per week.

Myeloma UK is looking for a driven and pro-active Events Fundraiser to join our growing Community and Events team. You’ll be joining the team as we continue to refine and expand our mass participation events portfolio including London Paris Ride, Great North Run and 100 miles for myeloma. You will have experience in event delivery or project planning, delivering these activities within tight deadlines while successfully building effective relationships.
The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team. You will be self-motivated and able to work remotely with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks and having an interest in sporting and mass participation fundraising events.
Previous experience or knowledge of digital marketing, virtual fundraising events and using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential.
About the role
As the Events Fundraiser you will be required to research, promote and deliver fundraising events, campaigns and activities, providing excellent stewardship to supporters, whilst working to help achieve monthly fundraising income targets. You will work to deliver an annual calendar of runs, walks, challenge and sporting events across the UK as well increasing support through Myeloma UK virtual and Facebook events.
The role holder will work with the Senior Event Development Fundraiser to provide the highest quality of event delivery as well as developing relationships, securing support, marketing, delivering and monitoring the event ensuring post event evaluation and future recommendations are made. They will also work closely with Community Fundraisers, supporting them as they identify opportunities to expand and diversify their fundraising portfolio.
You will work with other teams, develop materials required to support all marketing and promotion of events, ensuring organisational brand, style and key messages are adopted and ensure maximum use of database and other technology to increase operational efficiency within event fundraising.

The impact you will have
Working alongside the Head of Fundraising, you will inspire funders, donors and local companies to support our work. You will develop compelling applications to Trusts and Foundations and build strong relationships with grant managers.
Supporting the delivery of our annual calendar of public fundraising events, you will manage communications with public supporters and work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to develop innovative fundraising campaigns and social media content.
This is an exciting time to join Connection Support as we celebrate our 30th anniversary and turn our focus to preventing homelessness long before it happens, as well as continuing to provide support for those in crisis. You will be joining a supportive and friendly team and will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to deliver fundraising activities and raise the profile of Connection Support.

Hours: Between 30 – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £37,011 - £38,763 per annum, dependent on experience (pro rata for part- time)

About you
You have a strong track record of generating income from a range of funders, with a proven success of securing grants from Trusts and Foundations. You also have up-to-date knowledge of fundraising best practice and current fundraising trends.
It would be great if you have experience of planning and supporting fundraising events, and experience of developing corporate partnerships.

About the role:
We are looking to appoint an experienced Philanthropy Manager to proactively lead the cultivation and stewardship of potential and existing major donors, trusts and statutory bodies, with a particular focus on driving significant income growth.
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Engagement, the Philanthropy Manager will drive the growth of a portfolio of existing supporters and new prospects giving at the five and six figure gift level, with a particular focus on generating major gifts from new donors. The postholder will think strategically to develop inspiring fundraising cases of support, and impact reporting working closely with Care service colleagues, the finance team and the wider fundraising and engagement team.
This role has line management responsibility for three experienced fundraisers who manage their own portfolios of Major Donors, Trusts, and Foundations.
