The role

This role will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network.

For designated top food partners, you will be their day to day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels. You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them.

You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.

You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.

Main areas of responsibility

Partnership Management

• Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources.
• Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and
• agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution.
• Execute joint business plans and report internally and externally on progress.
• Research and understand your accounts, including key ESG initiatives, waste streams, key personnel within the organisation that will help drive its success and engage the relevant internal departments through both desked based research and face to face contact.
• Proactively drive account forwards and progress these relationships with regular on-site visits and linking FareShare exec with key contacts.
• Keep up to date with industry and charity insights and ensure this is reflected back strategically across ways of working and account management

Project and Initiative Management

• Be responsible for managing and communicating key projects and initiatives to increase food volumes and strategic value, securing support from a range of stakeholders within food partners and across the FareShare network.
• Work closely with Supply Chain and Logistics, Operations and Network Development teams with the aim of optimising food out to our network
• Develop and lead FareShare cross-departmental strategic activity to enable us to derive maximum value from key food partners including liaising with fundraising, marketing and volunteering teams

Fundraising Manager and Team Lead

About you

Purpose of the Visitor Experience Assistant role:

The Visitor Experience Assistant will deliver a range of visitor experiences, providing consistently high standards of customer care and actively support strategic priorities of the museum especially in relation to interpreting the story of the RAF and increasing commercial income.

he Fundraising Officer will work as part of the Fundraising team and focus on delivering income targets from trusts and foundations. The role is responsible for growing LDCT’s trust and foundation income by increasing the amount and longevity of funding from current supporters, as well as building a portfolio of new trusts and foundations through research, maintaining a pipeline of prospects, updating the Funding Matrix and making successful applications. Building good relationships with new funders including regular reporting, as well as good stewardship of existing funders, is an important part of the role.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Delivering on fundraising priorities and targets for trusts and foundations income, including our current and future major appeals.
2. Researching, identifying, and prioritising appropriate trusts and foundations to maintain and convert a pipeline of new, prospective trusts and foundations.
3. Working with colleagues across the organisation to help shape projects for funding and creating strong Cases for Support to ensure effective applications.
4. Writing and submitting high quality targeted funding applications.
5. Maintaining an effective stewardship programme for trusts and foundations including appropriate accurate records, ensuring the fundraising e-Tapestry database is kept up-todate and that fundraising income is processed efficiently with timely thank you letters and acknowledgements.
6. Managing relationships with existing and new funders to encourage maximum funding, multi-year funding awards and repeat funding.
7. Monitoring outcomes, updating the Funding Matrix and producing timely reports and information as required externally by funders and internally for Management reporting.
8. Promoting the support of funders through press releases and social media posts.
9. Adhering to standards of fundraising best practise as set out in the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practise and ensuring all activities comply with relevant Data Protection obligations and any other legislation

About You 

Are you a passionate Philanthropy Relationship Executive who is motivated to make a real difference for the Armed Forces Community?  Help for Heroes is seeking someone to be an integral part of the small, dynamic and supportive Philanthropy team at Help for Heroes.

You will have: A flexible working approach. A skilled communicator with excellent written and verbal skills. Experience of relationship-led fundraising with an understanding of donors’ motivation to give.

About the Role 

The ideal candidate will provide excellent administrative and operational support to the Philanthropy team, including specific well-written copy for fundraising collateral, engaging thank you letters, impactful cases for support.

Identify, generate, develop and grow a portfolio of major donors, contributing to an agreed income target.

Your role will be varied, responsible for supporting the Philanthropy team to generate, develop and grow income from a portfolio of major donors through positive and impactful relationships and excellent stewardship. You will be a team player, able to efficiently manage and prioritise your time.

Age UK and its network of local and national partners across the UK deliver a wide range of services to millions of older people every year. We want to ensure that those services are of a high quality and of real value to the people who receive them. A key component of this is the Network Quality & Compliance Team, which oversees Age UK's Quality Assurance Framework of quality standards, assessments, and processes for dealing with non-compliance.

We have an exciting part-time opportunity for a Service Quality Adviser to join our Network Quality & Compliance Team. This role is part of the team that supports Age UK and its network of local and national partners to provide consistent, high-quality services to the public. The team is responsible for ensuring that training and guidance is available on how to run high quality services and supports individual network members with quality challenges and non-compliance.

The provision of Information and Advice (I&A) and our quality standards for these services, are a key element of this role. The successful post holder will have demonstrable experience of managing or supervising an I&A service and ideally, a broader understanding or experience of quality assurance and delivering services to older people.

This is a part-time, home-based opportunity, working 21 hours per week. Salary advertised is FTE. (Actual salary range for 21 hours per week - Actual £20,406 - £22,554)

Must haves:

* Experience of the provision of a range of services (including information and advice) to quality standards (including legal and regulatory) in a not-for-profit organisation or other relevant context.
* Experience of managing or supervising the delivery of services (including information and advice).
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with staff in different locations, write reports and training materials.
* A wide range of influencing skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners in order to meet objectives.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to work flexibly and autonomously, managing individual projects to meet organisational objectives and achieve deadlines.
* Proven ability to work as part of a flexible team including remote staff.
* Good IT skills including an ability to use Microsoft Office (including Excel) effectively in preparing reports, presentations and in managing email communication. Experience of using CRM databases and other data management systems to manage client information is desirable. Experience of using online training and communication resources such as Teams or Zoom.

Great to haves:
* Experience of community development, working with volunteers and/or supporting small local voluntary organisations.
* Experience of delivering services to contracts and / or consortium working.
* Knowledge of public policy and practice issues in the delivery of services to older people.
* Proven ability to evaluate services and projects, interpret data and report on findings.
* Creativity and innovation including the ability to identify solutions and resolve complex issues.
