The role

This role will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network.

For designated top food partners, you will be their day to day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels. You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them.

You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.

You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.

Main areas of responsibility

Partnership Management

• Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources.
• Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and
• agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution.
• Execute joint business plans and report internally and externally on progress.

We are seeking a Fundraiser with a background in lead and income generation with the drive to create change for farmed animals in the UK. You will be part of a small, high-impact team specialising in consumer education and political advocacy to help us grow our supporter base and raise essential income to support our work for animals.

Purpose of the Visitor Experience Assistant role:

The Visitor Experience Assistant will deliver a range of visitor experiences, providing consistently high standards of customer care and actively support strategic priorities of the museum especially in relation to interpreting the story of the RAF and increasing commercial income.

• Regularly monitoring the condition and cleanliness of front of house facilities, taking corrective action and/or reporting issues, as appropriate
• Supporting in the management of volunteers working on front of house activities. • Support commercial and fundraising activities, including undertaking collections
• Understanding the Museum’s commercial activities, products and offers, and promote these to our visitors
• Discretely and sensitively safeguarding the security of visitors, colleagues and Museum assets, responding to heightened incident measures as appropriate, in line with Museum policy and procedures
• Monitoring and reporting defects associated with the Museum’s facilities, exhibits and/or interpretation
• Monitoring the safety of the Museum and visitors and comply with the Museum’s incident and accident reporting procedures
• Assisting with the effective evacuation of the Museum in the event of an emergency, in accordance with procedures

What we are looking for in our Visitor Experience Supervisor:

• Demonstrable experience in customer-focused environment
• A good level of general education
• Good level of computer literacy and IT skills including Microsoft Office software
• Up to date First Aid qualification.

We are looking for an Operations Officer to support our Head of Training and our associate training team and, on occasion, the wider team, to organise and deliver our training and consultancy services

Essential skills

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Power Point.

Highly proficient in the use of online platforms, including Microsoft Teams 

2+ years proven work experience in a similar role

Use of accounting software, Xero (desirable)

Responsibilities

Support the marketingof our training courses and consultancy.

Creating/scoping new systems and/or software to support data management systems. 

Handle new bookings, including liaising with external commissioning clients.. 

Schedule training sessions, distribute training manuals, evaluation forms and other materials. 

Manage and maintain the training calendar, including creating, managing and sending out meeting links, and acting as the contact for our team of associate trainers

Provide TEAMS / Zoom support for our virtual training delivery, and organise logistics for in-person delivery

Manage invoicing and payments

Provide other administrative support to  team members as required

We are looking for a Chief Officer who will be responsible for the day to day running of the charity as well as working with the Trustees to take the organisation forwards.  The successful candidate will have experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, will have skills in finance, management and IT, and will enjoy working in a busy environment where there are changing demands and priorities throughout the day.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The role is essential to delivering the charities income targets for Trusts and Foundations and developing long term relationships. In addition, the post holder will support the Head of Income Generation with approaching, reporting, and maintaining Trust and Foundation relationships for major appeals.

he Fundraising Officer will work as part of the Fundraising team and focus on delivering income targets from trusts and foundations. The role is responsible for growing LDCT’s trust and foundation income by increasing the amount and longevity of funding from current supporters, as well as building a portfolio of new trusts and foundations through research, maintaining a pipeline of prospects, updating the Funding Matrix and making successful applications. Building good relationships with new funders including regular reporting, as well as good stewardship of existing funders, is an important part of the role.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Delivering on fundraising priorities and targets for trusts and foundations income, including our current and future major appeals.
2. Researching, identifying, and prioritising appropriate trusts and foundations to maintain and convert a pipeline of new, prospective trusts and foundations.
3. Working with colleagues across the organisation to help shape projects for funding and creating strong Cases for Support to ensure effective applications.
4. Writing and submitting high quality targeted funding applications.
5. Maintaining an effective stewardship programme for trusts and foundations including appropriate accurate records, ensuring the fundraising e-Tapestry database is kept up-todate and that fundraising income is processed efficiently with timely thank you letters and acknowledgements.
6. Managing relationships with existing and new funders to encourage maximum funding, multi-year funding awards and repeat funding.
7. Monitoring outcomes, updating the Funding Matrix and producing timely reports and information as required externally by funders and internally for Management reporting.
8. Promoting the support of funders through press releases and social media posts.
9. Adhering to standards of fundraising best practise as set out in the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practise and ensuring all activities comply with relevant Data Protection obligations and any other legislation

Contract - Permanent - following 6 months probation

Hours -      Part time - 30 hours per week - Remote - hours can be worked flexibly throughout the week.

Holidays    33 days per year (26.5 days for 4 days per week)
