Women V Cancer is a unique partnership between Dream Challenges, Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action. Together, we have raised more than £20 million in fundraising across a portfolio of one day mass participation cycling events and overseas multi-day cycling challenges.
The partnership has big aspirations for growth and is looking for someone to join as a Fundraising and Partnerships Officer with key responsibilities in relationship management across the partners, reporting and analysis, events marketing, and participant stewardship.
The right candidate will be a self-driven and experienced fundraiser, whose knowledge of marketing strategies in fundraising and events, alongside an impactful supporter journey, can enable the development and growth of this long-standing partnership. You will have experience of the charity sector, event delivery, and social media marketing.
Key Areas
Marketing and stewardship
- Increase participant numbers on events through comprehensive and diverse marketing campaigns.
- Assist in digital advertising of events including creations of social media campaigns and PPC.
- Assisting in maintenance and digital creation on the branded WVC microsite.
- Develop the partnerships first user-generated video content campaigns, and influencer campaigners, alongside the group Digital Marketing Manager.
- Assist with automated journeys from lead generation marketing.
- Assist with social media channels and assist in creating social media marketing.
- Create and send email marketing campaigns.
- Deliver stewardship journeys of registered participants on events.
- Increase the average fundraising raised per participant.
- Increase engagement and communications across relevant social media groups.
Relationship management
- Build strong relationships with all three parties and represent key stakeholder interests both internally and externally.
- Understand each individual partner’s ways of working, their individual tone of voice and organisational visions and ensure these are implemented across the partnership.
- Coordinate project groups, communications and meetings, working with various teams within all parties to plan and schedule activities.
Reporting and analysis
- Work with the Marketing team and representatives from each of the charities to undertake campaign reporting, as well as post-event analysis including, but not limited to, audience insight and feedback, engagement and attendance rates, and fundraising per participant.
- Establishing a clear payment schedule for both sides for marketing contributions and donations.
- Track performance including registration numbers and income – reporting back to all parties.
- Undertake analysis work to improve understanding of current audience demographics and their interests, reviewing this regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Undertake regular competitor analysis work to scope trends and gaps in the marketplace – looking at how we benchmark ourselves against our competitors.
- Support on the strategic planning devised by all partners, providing insight learnt from the portfolio and audience analysis to help shape this.
General
- Keep up to date with sector knowledge to ensure best practice.
- Identify new trends and scope out new product development.
- Support all elements of event delivery (including volunteer recruitment, training weekends), attending UK and overseas events when required.

Personal Specification
Essential:
- Strong project management skills: a logical and thorough planner with the determination to see tasks through to completion.

As Grants & Development Officer you will work closely with the Management Team and be responsible for the successful grants and fundraising activity for core and project-based work, as well as developing new income generation opportunities.
Grants, Fundraising and Other Income Generation:
· Undertake regular prospect research to identify potential funding streams and prioritise opportunities based around local, community, and organisational need.
· Work with the Management Team, to identify, apply for and secure funding through appropriate and successful grant and tender applications.
· Maintain and strengthen relationships with current and future sponsors and supporters, including funding organisations and partners.
· Work with the Board and Management Team to help diversify our income sources to enable the organisation to continue its growth and demonstrate sustainability.

· Regularly review the projects, initiatives, and priorities of the organisation, and analyse them against our strategic aims to ensure they are aligned.
· Regularly review the strengths and weaknesses of Middleport Matters and thereby our capabilities, that are significant to our current and future growth (e.g. SWOT analysis).
· Conduct research (locally and nationally), to comprehend the organisation’s strategic options for the future and the business environment that we are situated within (e.g. PESTLE analysis).
· Provide analysis and recommendations around the structure, growth, and direction of the organisation, that are creative, challenging, realistic, and focused (using relevant data, business models, and statistics in order to regularly report on the current position of the business).

Location: Home based with frequent travel to projects in Hucknall, Broxtowe-Aspley, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Mansfield and soon to be opening in Leicester in 2024.
As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate FoodCycle meals for your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run their own community meals using surplus food. You will manage local relationships with venues, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable this to happen. You will continually be looking to increase our impact by working towards targets of increased meals served to our guests, expanding our existing Projects and setting up new ones within East Midlands.
An excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy. You will have experience of recruiting and managing volunteers, as well as programme development and delivery.
This role will require some attendance at our Community Meals projects, to support with delivery as necessary, which will include evening and weekend work. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.
Benefits: We offer 26.5 working days (this includes 3.5 days for the Christmas close down) plus additional holiday for length of service, up to a maximum of 30 days (pro-rata for part-time). Programme Delivery

Manage participants and volunteers from application stage to successful completion of the programme, including recruitment, matching, onboarding, troubleshooting throughout the programme and evaluation.

Chronic Granulomatous Disorder (CGD) is a rare, life-limiting immune disorder, where children and adults get frequent bacterial and fungal infections, which can be serious and life-threatening.
The CGD Society is the primary resource for individuals facing a CGD diagnosis, offering essential information and support to families throughout their CGD journey. Community Fundraising

Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to increase income through regular giving, donations, campaigns, legacy giving, corporate partnerships, and other fundraising initiatives.

One role will be dedicated to delivering Tesco Stronger Starts which helps to fund thousands of local projects across the country. Administered by Groundwork since 2016, the scheme has supported over 65,000 community groups with more than £113 million in grants to make a positive difference in communities across UK.
The second role will be focused on delivering the VCSE Energy Efficiency Scheme which offers funding and support to organisations in England to improve the efficiency of their building and save money on energy bills.
The ideal candidates will be experienced individuals, with substantial experience of working in grant management. They will work within a team of grant management professionals, alongside the manager and an experienced programme coordinator to ensure the smooth running of these high-profile programmes.

What's the role about
