Main Role & Responsibilities
The post holder will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes, with responsibility for engagement within Wales. Although remote working, they would need to be living in Wales for travel purposes.
They will be responsible for regional stakeholder engagement, developing and maintaining relationships and promoting Ygam training. They will recruit suitable delegates to Ygam’s full portfolio of workshops.
They will provide training both face to face and online and will be responsible for the delivery of our assured workshops and promoting the work of Ygam at conferences and events.
The post holder will maintain excellent relationship with Ygam Stakeholders and beneficiaries, providing ongoing support to organisations, to help them implement Ygam resources, and visits to schools and organisations as part of this work is crucial. The post holder will gather data to support Ygam to understand the impact of our work.

Role Requirements
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Planning
· Network and develop stakeholder relationships, leading the recruitment of delegates suitable to Ygam’s programmes.
· Develop a regional presence to amplify Ygam’s mission and vision
· Manage multiple stakeholders and understand their roles and requirements, providing detailed information on options and long-term support
· Develop stakeholder relationships and a strong pipeline of delegates to attend the workshops delivered by Ygam, ensuring workshops are well attended.
· Identify and attend conferences, seminars, and organisational events to support our work.
· Signpost organisations to the Ygam Family Hub to increase awareness.
· Work closely with The Programme Lead: Delivery and outcomes, to develop objectives and review individual performance.
Delivery
· Deliver the Ygam portfolio of workshops (online and face to face).
· Deliver workshops directly to children and young people in education and non-education settings
· Provide high quality training to a range of professionals in line with Ygam’s Quality Assurance processes.
· Deliver workshops and training independently as well as through team teach approach.
· Be responsive to delegates needs, answering questions and queries in a supportive manner.
· Promote Ygam’s additional offerings, such as Alumni and resources.
· Provide an excellent customer service to delegates.
Outcomes:
· Provide ongoing support to schools and youth organisations to help imbed Ygam materials within curriculum.
· Ensure accuracy of data utilising the CRM system
· Deliver and develop team teach opportunities to support teachers and other professionals to implement Ygam resources.
· Develop Case study opportunities to understand the impact of the Ygam resources.
· Work with the Insight team and evaluators to measure impact and performance.
Learning and Development:
· Self-identify any gaps in knowledge and any CPD to help you do your role effectively.
· Ensure all relevant CPD is completed and up to date on platforms such as IHasco.
· Attend support sessions with line manager (both remotely and in person).
· Record performance in your monthly 1-1’s with your line manager.
Administration:
· Send out joining instructions via our CRM system to delegates prior to workshops.
· Record attendance and email delegates post workshop to gather feedback.
· Ensure all records are maintained in accordance with GDPR/data protection legislation.
Person Specification
Essential:
· Prior experience in delivering training to adults and children
· Ability to translate complex issues to delegates and respond thoughtfully to questions
· Experience of delivering online learning and face to face learning
· Stakeholder engagement experience across children’s services
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
· Outstanding understanding of IT applications (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint especially).
· Experience of developing and delivering a sales pipeline and achieving KPI’s.
· Experience of driving projects to achieve agreed outcomes.
· Ability to work in a highly organised manner with a keen eye for absolute detail.
· Self-administrating experience.
· Prior experience of working within education, youth work or children’s services
· Prior experience of selling/promoting a product or service.
· Employment rights to live and work in the UK.
· Experience of working collectively as a team to meet targets.
· Willingness to travel to provide training regionally and nationally for Ygam
Desirable:
· An understanding of education within Wales, including the Curriculum for Wales and RSE, and how to engage in this sector across all education phases.
· An understanding of public health approach to gambling harms
· An understanding of NICE guidelines in relation to gambling
· Outstanding networking skills
· Experience utilising CRM systems, in particular Salesforce
* Please note that this vacancy is advertised as a full-time role; however, applications from candidates seeking part-time hours are welcome, and we would consider appointing two part-time individuals.
