About the role:
As our Dementia Coordinator, you’ll lead the development and coordination of dementia-focused befriending activities, working closely with volunteers, carers, and local partners. Your work will help create a supportive, connected community where people living with dementia feel valued and engaged.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the launch of a new Dementia Information Hub at The Creighton Centre, providing advice, signposting, and referrals alongside dementia healthcare professionals.

• Build strong partnerships with local dementia services across health, social care, and the voluntary sector.

• Develop inclusive, engaging activities like dance therapy and gardening clubs to complement existing befriending programmes.

• Support the recruitment and training of a dedicated team of up to 15 Dementia Ambassadors and 50 home befriending volunteers.

• Coordinate up to 30 home and care home befriending matches in the first year, increasing to 50 in subsequent years, focusing on meaningful sensory and physical activities.

Job Description

This role is central to positioning CSC as the leading small-to-medium-sized science centre and STEM engagement organisation in the UK. Working with the CEO and Directors, you will help identify opportunities, shape the CSC marketing strategy and convert that into an objective-centric plan of action. You will be responsible for all CSC marketing campaigns and activity, owning the brand and its development across all key audiences, including the public, community groups, teachers and school leadership, corporate CSR teams, and educational grant providers. You will own CSC’s marketing partnerships and publicity channels, including the website, social media, YouTube and press contacts. To develop a steady stream of interesting content for these channels and to celebrate key successes of the organisation, you will animate the entire CSC team to capture and share impactful stories through newsletters, media appearances, social media, conferences, and direct engagements. Additionally, you will ensure the organisation is supported with up-to-date collateral across all major functions and initiatives, while fostering a customer-focused approach through media and marketing skills training across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and manage all CSC marketing and advertising, including prioritising of activities to best achieve annual targets within marketing budget

● Own all aspects of the CSC brand and its development

● Support the CEO in the development and revision of a multi-year marketing strategy, identifying top-priority objectives for focused campaigns which you will then own

● Maintain a cross-organisation annual marketing plan and quarterly update schedule with key staff members to help identify ongoing opportunities to promote CSC activities, products, community engagements and programmes

● Working with the broader CSC team, create and manage a marketing content development plan, including case-studies, blogs and social-media threads, to best seize publicity opportunities and achieve annual marketing objectives

● Establish annual marketing targets, and own and track marketing metrics across all key audiences—including the public, schools, community groups, corporate partners, and the informal education sector—including quarterly reports on progress

● Identify and manage marketing risk for the organisation, including considered fast-response on public platforms as appropriate

● Develop and manage all CSC marketing relationships with partners and press

● Own all press and publicity channels, driving up quality engagement with CSC through the CSC website, social media, YouTube, etc.

About The Role
We are looking to welcome an approachable, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Community-based Dementia Adviser on a fixed term basis until March 21st 2026 who will focus on supporting people affected by Dementia across the Coventry area. This will be a fantastic secondment opportunity for an internal member of the organisation.
You will be joining an experienced team of Dementia Advisers across the Coventry area, using a person-centred approach to provide expert local guidance, information and advice to people living with Dementia and their family/carers. We pride ourselves on supporting a diverse local population in Coventry, so an inclusive attitude and mindset is important to ensure we support everyone in the best way possible.
There is an emphasis on partnership working and networking with Health and Social Care professionals, including GPs, Social Prescribers, Memory Assessment Services and Social Services. You will need experience in networking effectively and collaborating with other professionals to achieve a positive outcome for service users. In addition, you will also have a focus on supporting “seldom heard communities”.
You will be passionate about ensuring that people with Dementia and their family/carers are able to live well, enjoy life and have their voices heard. You will have a caring and empathic approach to supporting and empowering people affected by Dementia.

The Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

• Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

- Online awareness training for staff, volunteers, and members on safeguarding adults and children, covering UK devolved administrations and RBL’s overseas welfare work

- Working with Heads of Departments across all directorates to deliver SME-specific training both virtual and in-person
- Conducting research to support the planning and delivery of safeguarding training

This role requires regular travel and overnight stays across the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) to deliver learning interventions to meet the needs of colleagues. The expectation is twice-three times a week on average and there is also a requirement to attend Haig House once a month for team meetings and to build relationships with colleagues outside of delivering training.

About the Role:

As GPAC’s Planning and Performance Lead you will help us understand how the department is contributing towards WaterAid’s global strategy and maximise our global impact. The role will support GPAC’s work by leading the planning and performance assessment work, focussing on ensuring that the advocacy activity delivered across the department is aligned and working towards the same outcomes.

The role will work closely with the Directors in GPAC’s SMT and with members of the International Programmes Department (IPD) SMT to ensure that both departments’ plans are aligned. It will also engage with key Federation members involved in global policy, advocacy and campaigns work, with the WaterAid International Secretariat, and with the Global and UK performance, strategy and planning teams.

In this role, you will lead the design of the planning process for the department to deliver annual plans, ensuring alignment with similar processes in key Federation members and other departments, as well as being integrated with the wider organisation’s planning cycles.

You’ll also: 

• Project manage the implementation of the planning process, working in close coordination with GPAC SMT directors as well as and as relevant with other WaterAid, Member and WaterAid International directors.
• Lead the process to deliver an M&E framework for GPAC (including new metrics as relevant), that balances the effort required with the need to drive data informed decisions and actions.
• Run the quarterly and annual reporting cycle, working with senior leaders in GPAC to deliver high quality data, run learning sessions to reflect on the data to enable data driven and effective decision making.
• Manage the regular collation of data across the department and shared to the wider organisation, including to the Executive and Board reporting processes
• Represent GPAC in wider WaterAid UK and global groups around performance and planning.
• Support GPAC to partner closely with IPD to track Country Programme support requests, and use insights to inform strategic planning of the department.
• Be the internal communications lead for the department on matters related to planning and performance, working with the central internal communications function as appropriate.

Requirements

To be successful, you’ll need: 

• Experience of leading performance and planning cycles within complex organisations.
• Background in M&E within NGO or comparable contexts. Understands the complexity around assessing performance.
• Excellent project management skills to optimise the use of resources; manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities using insightful interpretation and resourceful solutions.

As the lead for major gifts fundraising organisationally, you will lead a talented team (of 6 currently, with future ambitions for growth) across major donor, corporate, trusts and foundations income streams. 

Major donor fundraising is a new area of fundraising for the charity, with the Head of High Value Relationships taking responsibility for building and growing this programme, following previous feasibility projects that identified some initial prospects with links to the organisation. 

The trusts, foundations and corporate income streams are more established but also have significant headroom to grow, with talented fundraisers already in post and showing great potential. Alongside new business, there is scope to focus on uplift and deeper engagement with this audiences to drive further support. To support this, work is currently underway to develop new cases for support that focus on long-term opportunities for fundraising to enable multi-year, high value support. 

The Head of High Value Relationships will play a key role within the Leadership Team, working cross-organisationally with colleagues to identify opportunities for funding that could have significant appeal to high value audiences. 

As Head of High Value Relationships you will:

• Lead major gift fundraising on behalf of the charity, maximising the support of major donors, trusts and foundations and corporate partners. 
• Take personal responsibility for the development and delivery of a new major donor fundraising programme.
• Balance strategic and operational duties, leading the team by example and guiding them to secure 6- and 7-figure major gifts. 
• Implement a focus on long-term support, shifting from in-year fundraising models by supporting the development of new cases for support that enable multi year commitments. 

The role would best suit:

• An experienced high value fundraiser, with expertise that includes successfully securing donations from major donors. 
• A skilled relationship builder with the ability to establish long-term, high value relationships. 
• A skilled team leader, focused on the development and upskilling of direct reports whilst collaborating closely with colleagues across the charity. 
• A creative strategist, able to identify new opportunities for funding whilst shaping and implementing a comprehensive high value fundraising strategy that includes major donors, trusts and foundations and corporate partners.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Casework Team provide specialist casework advice and support to bereaved families and individuals following a contentious death in custody and detention settings or through multi agency failings, requiring an inquest. You will be working alongside an experienced Casework Team, led by two Senior Caseworkers. You will have close contact with the Family Engagement Coordinator and with the Policy and Communications team.

The purpose of the role is to provide specialist advice to bereaved families facing an investigation and inquest process into a state related death; advising on the process immediately following a death, secure legal representation for families through the INQUEST Lawyers Group; liaise with external organisations, including lawyers, coroners and public bodies such as the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman and the Independent Office for Police Conduct, work alongside the Communications Team on media engagement; and identify key cases and issues arising as part of INQUEST’s policy and campaigns work.

The successful candidate will have experience of casework and advice provision, preferably in inquest law and related investigations. They will be expected to identify themes and trends arising from cases and contribute to the organisations strategic work. In addition, they will be required to organise stakeholder meetings and represent INQUEST at external meetings.

They will possess outstanding communication and organisation skills, will enjoy working in a very fast paced environment, and will adhere to INQUEST’s values and commitment to social justice, as well as our commitment to tackling racism and discrimination.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate, and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in Crewe.

Position: S11268 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based/Crewe, Cheshire. However, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £16,461 per annum (FTE circa £27,400 per annum)

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

Contract: Permanent. Services are contracted and there is currently funding for this contract until 31 March 2026.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Supporting stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Work collaboratively with NHS colleagues and other areas of the community to make a difference in the lives of people affected by stroke.

About You

You will have experience in:

• Experience/background in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities
• Excellent IT skills and an ability to maintain accurate records.
