Our aim is to increase understanding of child sexual abuse and neglect and to raise awareness so that abuse can be identified, responded to and ultimately prevented.
We are recruiting an Implementation Support Officer to provide support to and sustain relationships with a range of organisations and key stakeholders across the East of England to enable them to successfully implement and deliver NSPCC programmes, services and products. This is a new post and sits across our Development and Implementation and Direct Services Teams.
Reporting into the Assistant Director for the East of England this role will play a key part in scaling our evidence-based services across the region. This role will:
- Provide a range of virtual and face to face support to external agencies to successfully implement NSPCC programmes, services and products
- Arrange, support and sometimes deliver training to support implementation of services
- Work closely with regional colleagues to support sustainability of scale up and reach of services
- Undertake work alongside the East Region Assistant Director, the Associate Head of Implementation and the appropriate Relationship Managers to implement strategies and methodologies to successfully replicate and implement programmes, services and products and to deliver on agreed KPI's and corporate targets
- Support the team to meet the in-year target of reach of professionals and Income Generation.

Coram IAC, is a Voluntary Adoption Agency, which specialises in Intercountry Adoptions. This position is a member of the Leadership Team and will have a pivotal role in leading, developing and managing a range of operational adoptions services, ensuring that they meet the needs of children we are providing services for, including all legal, policies, guidelines, and internal standards. They will play a key role in helping to develop new services and where appropriate will take operational control of these.
About the Role
The Head of Service post holder will take the lead responsibility (under Ofsted registration) as the Adoption Manager of Coram IAC. They will ensure the ongoing delivery of an outstanding VAA that is fully compliant with national minimum standards and regulations; and ensuring high quality adoption support and a sufficient supply of adopters that reflects the diversity of the countries they are adopting from.
Applying to adopt in the UK is open to anyone already in the process with Coram IAC but we do not actively recruit domestic adopters like other VAAs. Approved Intercountry Adopters may however request to change their approval advice to the UK if they are considered a suitable match for children available and waiting for permanence through Adoption in the UK.
Coram IAC predominantly serve prospective adopters from the global majority and as such recruit and train a highly diverse and skilled group of adopters to enable the best outcomes for children whilst also offering adopter and sector diversity for potentially harder to place children. YMCA West Sussex Transitional Housing provides safe, secure accommodation for young people aged 18-25, who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. Our staff team comprises of Supported Housing Support Workers, Housing Mobile Night Workers and two Supported Housing Managers. We offer a support package alongside the accommodation to actively encourage residents into education, training, employment or voluntary work.
In delivering the role, you will work with the Deputy Supported Housing Manager and the wider housing team to provide effective day to day management of our transitional accommodation service. You will have your own caseload of residents, working creatively and effectively alongside young people to develop their assets and talents and to acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives. Harm towards children and young people is a global issue, and can include physical and emotional abuse, neglect and exploitation, sexual abuse and other forms of gender-based violence. In this key role, you will lead and implement the safeguarding strategy, working closely with the Director of Delivery and Impact and with the Senior Leadership Team providing advice and updates regarding safeguarding and risk management to our Board, various committees, and teams. You will work closely across functions but particularly within the programmes team, supporting the safer programming of our young people across 20 countries via a network of in-country delivery partners. You will have extensive experience of supporting organisations to deliver safe and impactful programmes, having developed the systems process and frameworks to support this. You will be working as part of the West Sussex night team providing mobile support to our 24-hour services, ensuring that our transitional properties are safe, secure, and welcoming through the night. You will be based at the Horsham Y Centre and will support the static night worker there during the night as well as undertaking your mobile duties. You will regularly complete building checks and monitor CCTV upkeeping health and safety regulations in accordance with YMCA DLG's policies and procedures. You will work to prevent any anti-social behaviour from impacting our neighbours and other residents. You will help to contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations.
In addition, you will work alongside other support staff to maximise the wellbeing of residents by completing one to one interventions with young people who may be experiencing mental health crisis and/or who may need medical assistance.
This is a mobile role, requiring all applicants to have a full valid, UK Driving Licence. You will also be lone working as part of the role, so you will need to be comfortable with decision making and following procedures.
You will work on four nights on, four nights off rota. Although these are long shifts, you will get four days off after, which can provide a great work life balance.

We are seeking an experienced Rent Officer to join our small, dispersed Rent Team which consists of a Rent Team Leader; two Rent Officers, and two part-time Rent Team Administrators which sits within our Housing and Property services. In conjunction with our Supported Housing services, the Rent Team is responsible for the collection of the organisation's rent and other property charges. As a Rent Officer you will manage a caseload of properties and will be responsible for monitoring rent accounts; ensuring that appropriate action is taken to maximize rental income. You will ensure accuracy of rent accounts’ and service users’ information held on the rent management database (Pyramid).
In addition, you will liaise with relevant local authorises housing benefit departments; ensuring positive relationships are forged. You will have knowledge of the external environment in which YMCA DownsLink Group works and keep abreast of key changes, particularly around Welfare Reform.
Hybrid role – mainly based at Reed House in Hove, with an expectation to work out of other locations across the YMCA DownsLink Group area when required. Main Purpose of the Role
The main objectives of the Corporate Fundraising Manager role is to lead the Corporate Partnerships programme; sourcing, developing and sustaining funding partnerships with a wide range of companies. This is a senior and hands-on role. You will take responsibility for developing and sustaining your own portfolio of corporate partners working with them to secure significant funds.
Main Areas of Responsibility
• Implement a corporate strategy which increases income and the number of corporate partners to exceed targets and build the pipeline for future years.
• Provide line management support to the corporate fundraiser(s), including setting objectives, key performance indicators and carrying out appraisals.
• Secure new business support from companies, taking a strategic and proactive approach to new business development.
• Develop creative and compelling new business pitches, presentations and proposals for a range of corporates including COTY applications, CRM, beneficiary events and cross organisational offers, working closely with the Director of Fundraising & Marketing.
• Develop a dense pipeline of corporate partnership prospects, with a potential focus on locally-based large companies as well as national organisations who consider local charity partnerships.
• Identify and secure opportunities through proactive relationship development and peer to peer introductions.
• Maximise corporate income through exemplary stewardship and strategic development of existing and new corporate partners, including account management, developing and implementing account plans, new ideas and opportunities for income generation.
• Manage income and expenditure budgets to ensure annual targets are met, providing regular reports to the Director of Fundraising & Marketing.
• Manage and oversee the administration linked to corporate fundraising, ensuring information is entered and updated accurately onto Salesforce.
• Undertake other duties that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature and grade of this post.
Person Specification
Essential:
· Numerate and literate.
· A proven, impressive track record of delivering corporate / charity partnerships.
· Proven track record in achieving financial and non-financial targets.
· High level fundraising, account management or sales experience in a client facing environment.

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day to day management of their designated services, including line managing the relevant front line staff. What you'll do:

The Training Ground Programme
Training Ground uses the power of the club badge to engage with young people whom universal support cannot reach. Working with targeted participants, aged 16-24, who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET), the programme provides, one-to-one mentoring, wraparound support, and access to physical activity sessions and mental health, employability, and life skills workshops.
The programme will target those furthest from the labour market and with additional support needs, for example, looked after or care experienced, young carers, homeless or at risk of homelessness, those with experience of substance abuse, previous involvement with criminal activity, and/or SEND.
Main Purpose of Job
You will provide 1:1 mentoring to a caseload of participants (aged 16-24), on the Training Ground programme. Your sessions will support them in developing the skills and confidence to take positive steps towards employment, education, or training. Working with your mentee over a period of time you will set goals and provide the support they need to meet these goals.
The post holder will have experience of providing support to individuals from a range of backgrounds and will have the ability to build and maintain relationships with employers, and other external stakeholders and agencies.
You will be good with administration and understand the value of keeping good records on your meetings and 1:1 conversations. You will track progress and collect evidence to show the distance the participants have travelled.
You will work with multi-agency partners to identify the barriers that have prevented young people from engaging in education and employment and help them to develop strategies to overcome these challenges. The post holder will have a passion for supporting others to reach their potential.
