The Hive is an inspirational charity, employing exceptional youth workers and an army of volunteers. It changes the lives of thousands of young people each year, delivering social impact on an incredible scale.
The facilities are state-of-the-art and second to none, delivering over 20 sporting, artistic, cultural, and recreational activities each session when schools are closed (evenings and weekends), plus throughout the school holidays. The building itself and facilities on offer are the initial hook for young people, but the real magic happens inside with a fully qualified, highly skilled youth work team who support and empower young people to overcome challenges and reach their potential.
About the Role
Working within a small fundraising team, the Partnerships and Event Fundraiser will make a significant contribution to securing a legacy for thousands of local young people through the generation of new income. You will also support and inspire existing corporate partners as part of your role.
About You
This role is a perfect opportunity for a fundraiser, with a proven track record of securing funds via community and corporate fundraising, to set up a new Community programme at the Hive. Epic at a glance :
At Epic, we strive to build a world where children and youth - no matter their race, gender, sexual orientation or place of birth - have access to a future full of promise and opportunity. We are a global foundation backing groundbreaking non-profits around the world - the changemakers and innovators that are transforming the lives of children and youth, and protecting our planet for generations to come.
Groundbreaking non-profits often fall short of smart money to drive impact. Donors want to give more, but are held back because they lack trust, time, and knowledge. Epic bridges the gap between the social entrepreneurs forging solutions to today’s pressing challenges, and the individuals and businesses who want to pool their resources to drive positive change. We curate and monitor highly-vetted portfolios of organisations that we back in order to foster lasting change. We operate strictly on a pro bono basis: 100% of donations received go directly to the organizations in our portfolio.
Since 2015, we have mobilised over 80 million dollars and supported 54 organizations in 11 countries across 4 continents.
