We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to grow and develop new long-term partnerships with employers across the UK, focusing on Apprentices, Graduates, and Future Leaders. You’ll be helping businesses invest in the next generation of talent by connecting them with Outward Bound’s experiential learning programmes that accelerate personal growth, resilience, teamwork, and leadership in early careers cohorts. 

Your focus will be on building strong relationships, understanding workforce development needs, and positioning Outward Bound as the partner of choice for early talent development. 

Occasional evening, weekend, and overnight work will be required as part of the role, including attending client visits, taster sessions, and visits to our Outward Bound Centres.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Excellent communications skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external professionals.  A strong understanding of the apprenticeship and graduate development programmes, and talent pipelines. 

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects and maintain consistent follow-up.

• Confident in presenting to clients, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences (HR, L&D, operational teams, senior leadership). 

• Good negotiation and influencing skills. 

• Experienced in LinkedIn / LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting and building connections within early careers networks. 

• Proficient in Microsoft systems and CRM tools. 

• Knowledge of or interest in experiential learning, leadership development, and outdoor education is an advantage. 

 AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Secure mainly new and some key repeat business to meet personal, and team, quarterly and annual targets. 
• Lead on developing new partnerships within key industry sectors for Apprentice, Graduate, and Emerging Leader programmes. 
• Undertake client learning needs analysis to understand early career development goals and challenges. 
• Produce compelling proposals that align Outward Bound programmes with organisational objectives. 
• Represent Outward Bound at early careers events, conferences, and employer network sessions. 
• Maintain accurate client records via our CRM system and ensure timely follow-up and reporting. 
• Liaise with internal delivery and marketing teams to ensure client needs are met and opportunities are maximised. 
• Drive new business through research, networking, referrals, and sector insights. 
• Contribute ideas to help shape Outward Bound’s early careers strategy and offer to stay relevant in a fast-changing employment landscape.

Salary: £32,000 – £40,000, salary depending on experience

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week

Bridges Outcomes Partnerships (BOP) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works alongside Government, community groups and specialist Delivery partners to design and deliver vital services that support people to improve their lives, in areas ranging from housing and employment to education and health & wellbeing.

About KDASS

Kirklees Domestic Abuse Specialist Services (KDASS) is a partnership between Connect Housing, Women Centre, and RASAC Kirklees. Together we deliver specialist, trauma-informed, and person-centred support for people who have experienced harm through domestic abuse.

Grounded in the Kirklees Domestic Abuse Strategy, KDASS aims to:

• Empower people to live free from harm and fear

• Give advice and deliver personalised interventions to reduce the risk of harm or symptoms of trauma cause by Domestic Abuse through accessible, person-centred pathways

• Work collaboratively with valued statutory and third sector agencies to achieve the best outcomes and impact for each individual.

About the opportunity

As a vital first point of contact for people affected by domestic abuse, you will play a central role in ensuring that every person who reaches out to KDASS is heard, supported and connected with the right help at the right time. Through compassionate, person-led conversations, you will listen, explore and understand individual experiences, identify risks, and ensure a safe and supportive pathway into the most suitable specialist service within our partnership.

As part of our Triage Team, you’ll:

• Receive and respond to inbound calls into the KDASS central point of access, offering immediate emotional support, advice and guidance

• Review and process referrals received via our online portal and access system.

• Triage victims/survivors to the most appropriate service within agreed timeframes

• Input and maintain accurate case records in the Oasis system

• Identify and escalate any immediate safeguarding concerns through the appropriate pathways;

• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with partner agencies to ensure smooth referral pathways; and

• Work closely with the Programme Manager to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for development within the service.

Job Summary

The Head of Operations holds responsibility for our day-to-day delivery, strategic development of our services, and operational team leadership. As our new Head of Operations you will:

• sit on the PiP Senior Management Team and lead our team of circa twenty delivery staff. 
• ensure continuous operational improvement, working with SMT to develop our service and systems, through new projects or ways of working, and champion a learner-led approach to everything we do. 
• champion PiP meeting our regulatory and reporting requirements, manage key relationships including with local authorities, and hold budget responsibility across our service.

What You’ll Need

• Significant experience of working with people with learning disabilities, or a similar vulnerable client group, including knowledge of Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA) processes.
• Significant experience of leading and managing a staff team.
• Strong understanding of and commitment to a person-centred approach to working with people with learning disabilities, including planning, progress monitoring and review.
• Experience of liaising with a wide network of agencies and sector professionals in support of student needs.

The Maitri Trust is looking for an experienced Grant Portfolio Manager to join our Programmes team. We're seeking someone who believes in the power of strategic philanthropy to identify and scale impactful primary education solutions that have the potential to reach millions of children.

Location:Hybrid, within the UK. This role will be home based, with regular travel required to our office in Edinburgh.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:  

The Grant Portfolio Manager plays a central role in ensuring the Maitri Trust’s grantmaking delivers maximum impact. You will manage and support a diverse portfolio of strategically aligned partners, building close and flexible relationships to strengthen capacity, track progress, and respond to challenges as they arise. Alongside this, you will co-lead on the design, delivery, and onboarding of new partners through open calls helping to identify impactful and scalable initiatives. Working closely with colleagues across the team, you will help ensure that evidence from the portfolio drives learning, decision-making, and strategic alignment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

Management of Existing Grants & Partnerships 

• Manage a portfolio of strategically aligned partnerships – supporting them through the Maitri Trust’s grant cycle, managing risk, and monitoring impact. 
• Provide high-level advisory support and capacity building to grantees, focusing on technical assistance and strengthening partner impact. 
• Maintain oversight of active grants, ensuring compliance with contractual, financial, and reporting requirements. 
• Review grantee reports (narrative and financial) and provide constructive feedback to strengthen accountability and performance. 
• Represent the Maitri Trust in relevant partnership discussions, forums, committees and external events. 

Open Calls & Onboarding of New Partnerships 

• Work closely with the Head of Programmes, Grant Operations Manager and Impact & Engagement team to design and deliver open calls for funding. 
• Support the review of applications and prepare recommendations for decision-making. 
• Onboard new cohorts of partners, ensuring alignment with our strategy. 
• Manage ongoing partner relationships to support long-term impact.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning 

• Build open and trusting relationships with partners to understand impact, successes and challenges, and share learning and adaptations. 
• Work closely with the Head of Impact & Engagement to contribute to portfolio-wide impact analysis and strategic learning reports. 
• Conduct regular in-person site visits to partners. 
• Support the development and use of partner-friendly monitoring evaluation and learning (MEL) tools and frameworks, ensuring data is meaningful, consistent, and used to drive improvement. 

Collaboration & Support 

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Programmes and Grants Operations Manager to ensure smooth operations of all grant management work. 
• Participate in partner learning and collaboration activities and workshops with the Head of Impact & Engagement and Communications & Engagement Manager. 
• Work closely with Impact and Engagement team to develop content for internal and external communications. 
• Liaise with external technical experts and sector networks to support promotion of the Maitri Trust’s work and partner capacity development. 
• At peak times (particularly during calls for proposals) provide backstop support to the Grants Operations Manager as necessary. 

YOUR SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND PROFILE 

Essential 

• 7+ years of proven experience in grant management within an international development or philanthropic context. 
• Significant experience in providing technical assistance, capacity building, or advisory support to organisations. 
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject, or an undergraduate degree plus specific experience in international development or philanthropic contexts. 
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with experience in impact assessment and portfolio analysis. 
• Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across different cultural contexts. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in preparing reports and recommendations.
• Experience in open call funding processes, grant application review processes, and due diligence.
• Knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks.
• Ability to travel internationally and work across different time zones.

Desirable 

• Experience working with educational initiatives in South Africa, India, or similar contexts. 
• Understanding of grant management systems (the Maitri Trust works with Fluxx). 
•  Understanding of government priorities in the education sector.
• Experience working in small or medium-sized NGOs, foundations, or trusts. 
• Familiarity with participatory approaches to partnership development.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Fundraising and Events

• Organise, lead and evaluate all community fundraising activities and events.
• Support and inspire individuals, schools, and community groups to fundraise.
• Provide excellent stewardship to fundraisers, donors, and supporters.

Relationship Building

• Build partnerships with local businesses, faith groups, schools, and clubs.
• Develop innovative fundraising ideas to engage community supporters.
• Represent the charity at community events, presentations, and cheque collections.

Campaigns & Communications

• Work with the PR & Communications Officer to promote fundraising activities.
• Use social media and digital tools to engage supporters.
• Produce engaging fundraising materials and updates.

Administration & Reporting

• Keep accurate records of income and supporter details using the CRM/database.
• Monitor progress against fundraising targets.
• Ensure fundraising activities comply with relevant fundraising regulations.

We are looking for a creative and driven Philanthropy Manager for a well loved health charity to manage a pool of mid value donors and secure four and five-figure gifts whilst stewarding donors.

This is a hybrid role with two days a week in the London office.

The Charity
A passionate charity who aims to create access to world-leading healthcare, delivered by a thriving workforce and driven by medical research that has a global impact. They have a Fundraising team of approx 20 people securing c£4m+ last year. They are known for their collaborative and supportive working culture, offering competitive benefits in a range of areas including holiday, sick pay, flexible working and pension scheme.

The Role
Lead and deliver a mid-level giving retention and recruitment strategy, for donors giving between £1,000 and £50,000 each year, working with colleagues and senior volunteers to understand potential opportunities for uplift in giving.
Manage the day-to-day delivery of mid-level donor activities, including tracking renewal cycles, supporting donor journeys, and responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Support the development and delivery of engaging events, and bespoke communications including personalised letters, invitations, proposals, and thank-you communications, ensuring mid-level donors feel valued and connected to the impact of their giving.
Ensure that mid-level donors have the best possible experience of giving to the charity, by engaging with colleagues on the development of appeals to this audience, stewarding those giving at this level, and attracting new supporters
Work with the public fundraising team to thank mid-level donors to fundraising appeals, creating updates and reports, and providing an excellent supporter experience to maximise the opportunity for a longer-term relationship beyond specific appeals.
Support the fundraising activities of the wider philanthropy & campaigns team through identifying donors who may give major gifts or be interested in legacy giving.

The Candidate
Experience of securing four and five figure gifts from individual donors.

Experience in fundraising and donor development delivering an excellent service on the phone, in person, and in written communications.

Experience of creating high quality written documents, such as tailored letters, proposals, slide decks, or other professional materials.

In this role, you will work within the Smallshaw-Hurst Children's Community (SSH CC), collaborating not only with children and families but also with parents, local schools and teachers, universities, and community organisations to drive meaningful, sustainable change. Working closely with the SSH CC CEO, you will help strengthen partnerships across Tameside, Greater Manchester and beyond, supporting local innovation and sharing evidence and learning that informs wider policy and practice.

• Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of community groups, organisations, partnerships and networks across the Children's Community, Greater Manchester and nationally. 
• Support the development and delivery of SSH CC's local systems-change and innovation agenda. 
• Capture and share learning from local delivery to support national influence, including creating case studies, events, and resources. 
• Share insights and identify opportunities to scale community-led best practice. 
• Develop and manage effective communication strategies to raise SSH CC's visibility and celebrate community achievements. 

About you 
To be successful, you will have: 

• A strong background in engaging with families and communities to co-develop strategies and programmes. 
• Proven experience of building and maintaining multi-stakeholder relationships and partnerships in educational, community, or local authority settings. 
• Proven ability to design and lead innovative projects or programmes that drive change. 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across audiences and platforms. 
• Strong understanding and application of digital tools for data collection, analysis, and communications (e.g. websites, social media). 
• A sound understanding of the impact of poverty on families and the systemic barriers communities face.
