The Assistant Director of Income Generation is responsible for driving income and engagement across our fundraising portfolio, including Individual Giving, Legacy, Community, Corporate, Trusts and Major Donors. Ensuring we build and develop a breadth of strong relationships with supporters, and deliver a calendar of impactful appeals, fundraising activities and compelling propositions that maximise income and life time value. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director of Income and Engagement and the Assistant Director of Audience Engagement to ensure we deliver income targets and maximise opportunities to deepen understanding and commitment, ensuring decision making is driven by insight and analysis.
This role is part of the Together with Trussell programme, the goal of which is to build stronger connections with our supporters, partners and donors in order to increase funding, campaigning, and other forms of support for our work. As a member of an enabling programme, this role is focused on the successful delivery of the Together with Trussell programme outcomes, which underpin and enable the outcomes of our 5 external programmes – together contributing to the fulfilment of our long term vision of a UK without the need for food banks.
Role responsibilities
· Lead the team to deliver our income generation strategy, meeting income targets based on long term financial forecasts, by driving growth and retention across existing supporters through outstanding stewardship and innovative products and activities that uplift and convert support, as well as proactively developing new opportunities, compelling propositions and relationships.
· Ensure that income reporting is accurate, timely, and accessible, and that teams are equipped with and utilising supporter data and insight to drive decision making.
· Maximise the opportunities for integration across our fundraising and mobilisation activity by working closely with the Assistant Director of Audience Engagement, and driving engagement and collaboration across teams.
· Develop and nurture stakeholder relationships across the organisation to support and champion fundraising.

Who you are

- Entrepreneurial and innovative, able to identify revenue opportunities and drive their delivery.

The new role of Head of IT provides operational and strategic leadership across all technology, digital, and data services. About Dundee Heritage Trust
Dundee Heritage Trust is a charity dedicated to preserving and sharing Dundee’s rich cultural and scientific heritage. It operates two award-winning visitor attractions, Discovery Point, home of the RRS Discovery (the ship that took Scott and Shackleton to the Antarctic), and Verdant Works, an 1833 flax and jute mill that tells the story of the industry which shaped Dundee for almost 200 years.
The Trust generates around £2.2m annually through admissions, cafés, events, venue hire, fundraising and the capital appeal. To sustain and grow this work, Abeer Macintyre Consultancy is seeking, on behalf of the Trust, an exceptional Director of Development to lead the fundraising strategy and team.
As Director of Development, you will

Lead the fundraising team and nurture their potential following a period of leadership change.

Shape and deliver a multi-channel fundraising strategy, with a focus on major gifts, high-net-worth individuals (HNWI), corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, legacies and international networks.

Work closely with the Executive and Commercial Directors to align fundraising with earned income.

Draw on the strength of a highly engaged Board, a well-connected Chair, and high-profile Patrons such as Brian Cox, Dan Snow and Lorraine Kelly.
This is a senior leadership role with the freedom to create your own strategy, supported by colleagues who understand what it takes to make fundraising thrive. The potential is significant, from polar exploration enthusiasts and the Scottish diaspora to corporate partnerships and legacy giving, and the platform is already set.

Essential experience

Development and management of donor giving for not-for-profits or member-based organisations, or client development for commercial income generation and business development.

A track record of achieving revenue targets from campaigns, activities and events.

Proven success securing major gifts and or regular subscriptions from individuals, philanthropists, corporates and supporters.

Knowledge of the Scottish, UK and international philanthropic landscape and, ideally, a well-connected personal network.

Senior Head of Development – Gardens, Libraries and Museums

The Gardens, Libraries and Museums of the University of Oxford house some of the world's most significant collections. Representing the UK’s first public museums and botanic gardens and one of Europe’s oldest libraries, our institutions house a collection of c. 32 million objects, specimens and printed items, promoting research, learning and enjoyment, and provide important places of scholarly enquiry. They serve as the front door to the wealth of knowledge and research generated at Oxford, welcoming over 3.5 million visitors each year.
A hugely exciting opportunity has arisen to play a central role in coordinating and leading our fundraising efforts across the GLAM institutions. It will require an exceptional person to build on the achievements of the past and shape the next phase of our philanthropic ambitions and outcomes.
About you
You will be confident in your ability to operate at this leadership level and have substantial experience of working with leading individual philanthropists and trusts & foundations, to deliver highly successful income generating activities. Working in close collaboration with the GLAM Directors and Curators, you will identify opportunities and design strategies that will raise our ambitions and maximise philanthropic support. Leading a high-performing GLAM development team by example, you will work collegially with fundraising colleagues across the University and manage your own portfolio of donors with ease. Success in this role will therefore require an inspirational, inclusive and collaborative fundraising leader with experience of leading and motivating teams, and an imaginative and enterprising approach to achieving outstanding results.
Experience of the cultural sector is highly desirable, while a passion for Oxford’s mission and a desire to drive positive change through philanthropic partnerships are absolutely essential.

You will be an experienced major gifts fundraiser and manager, who brings a collaborative and relationship-based approach to ensure success in your endeavours. Your experience, authenticity and curiosity about the world around you, enables you to establish credibility quickly and gain the confidence of the stakeholders you work with. As a divisional team leader and member of the major giving leadership team, you will inspire a motivated and committed Social Sciences development team as well as engage and collaborate with other fundraising leaders across the collegiate network, to identify and leverage all opportunities that will enable the University to achieve its strategic ambitions. It will therefore be important that you:
