About the role:
This role is based at our office in Sheffield, dealing with inbound enquiries and making outbound calls to victims of crime, reviewing and triaging referrals from the police.
As a Victim Care Advocate you will:
- Work directly with people who have been impacted by crime, assessing support needs and completing risk assessments, providing immediate support and signposting to ongoing support and advocacy
- Develop knowledge and links with other organisations who support victims of crime
You will be:
- A self-starter with good organisational & time management skills
- An excellent communicator
- Working across teams & with external agencies to achieve goals
- Working in a digital environment & be able to use a range of IT equipment & programmes.
- An understanding of crime & the impact it has on individuals & communities

What we want in return:
- Ideally a minimum of 1 year experience working in care with the ability to lead shifts
- Caring, self-motivated staff members who have passion and want to help people with learning disabilities and complex health care needs
- Have basic IT skills-Microsoft word and email. Ability to read and write and have basic numeracy skills is essential to this role
- Be Prepared to undertake a professional qualification relevant to the role, such as a level 2/3 RQF/NVQ
- Commitment to training and to progress to a shift leader
- Committed, reliable and willing to work as part of a team
- Flexibility- willing to work weekends and bank holidays
- Satisfactory DBS check, 2 references

About the Role
As Director of Finance, you’ll:
- Lead all aspects of financial strategy, reporting, and governance
