Are you passionate about youth work with leadership experience? We are looking for a Director of Youth Work to provide effective leadership and management for the Youth Work team within FAST London. The Director of Youth Work will sit in the Leadership Team, working in collaboration with the CEO and youth workers to ensure FAST’s overall strategic objectives and desired outcomes are met.

FAST London (FAST) is a Christian youth charity based on the Patmore Estate focused on supporting 10–19-year-olds from deprived backgrounds in Battersea and South Lambeth. Context for this role
This is a pivotal moment for FAST, as the need for our work has grown significantly. More young people are falling into poverty and struggling in school, making our mission more urgent than ever.
Although capacity remains a challenge—especially with a 60% reduction in public youth programmes over the past decade (YMCA, 2020)—we continue to grow strong, engaging over 400 young people annually.
Our desire is to build and sustain a healthy youth organisation that delivers excellent and vibrant youth work. We aim to make a lasting difference in young people’s lives and to cultivate a team of empowered, well-equipped staff who love what they do.

Gaddum provides therapeutic support within the CYP Bereavement Therapy Service and the Complex Care Therapy Service across Greater Manchester. Our CYP Bereavement Therapy Service is delivered across Manchester and Salford. Our Complex Care Service is delivered across Salford, Rochdale and Stockport. Our Kentown Support Service will be delivered across Greater Manchester.
Role Purpose:
Working as part of the Gaddum CYP Bereavement Therapy and Complex Care Team, your role will be to provide effective and efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of Gaddum’s therapy services. You will be responsible for ensuring that all administration tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
You will demonstrate appropriate professionalism and empathy towards clients both face to face and over the phone. A keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise is key to the success of this role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Processing referrals: adding them to our database as well as our waitlist spreadsheet, sending out therapy agreement emails to gain consent from families, communicating with referrers/other professionals where needed
· Screening referrals: for any unsuitable or high-risk cases, identifying those 16+ to help us build list for trainees
· Completing follow ups where needed - such as awaiting carer response to agreement/consent email, or we are waiting to hear back about something
· Responding to queries from professionals or service users
· Monitoring email boxes and supporting to monitor waitlist
· Completing IA’s with families who are due to start therapy
· Assisting with therapy bookings where needed (may be contacting schools or community venues on behalf of therapists)
· Liaising with professionals and assisting with onward referrals
· Keeping records up to date
· Communicating cancellations/scheduling changes to therapists or clients or both
· Support therapists with collecting feedback from parents/carers
· Attend team meetings, assisting with minutes where possible, helping to share information with the team

Your Role

Key responsibilities include

Regular Giving and Supporter Growth
- Promote and grow regular giving schemes within community networks.

- Support the Marketing Manager to develop messaging, materials and campaigns that encourage sustained support.
Supporter Data and Income Tracking
- Monitor and report on all income and supporter engagement, using the charity’s CRM.

- Set and monitor targets aligned with departmental KPIs and board reporting cycles.

This role involves establishing and maintaining school tree planting projects, climate-adapted gardens and food growing projects with pupils and supporting teaching staff to embed outdoor learning through trees and green spaces into the school curriculum. The coordinator will deliver school tree planting and educational workshops as well as conduct community consultation and coordinate events around public tree planting projects.
This role will join another Engagement Coordinator and the Engagement Manager in working closely with our Urban Forest, Build and Design, Monitoring and Impact, as well as Marketing and Communications teams to deliver multiple, overlapping projects with diverse London communities.
We are looking for an energetic and organised individual to support and coordinate our engagement activities for tree planting and outdoor classroom initiatives. This involves planning, delivering, and reporting back on community consultations, educational workshops, public tree planting events and other activities.

Your Role
The Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorship Manager will develop and deliver a strategy to secure, manage, and grow income from corporate supporters and sponsors. The postholder will build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with

Key responsibilities include
Strategy and Planning

Context of Job
AFK is a national charity creating opportunities for children and young people who are disabled or neurodiverse, to increase their independence, reach their individual potential and remove the barriers they face. Our vision is a world where there are no barriers to independence for children and young people who are disabled or neurodiverse. As part of this we provide bespoke employment skills training and organise work experience across North London.
At a national level, we provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people up to the age of 25.
Overall Job Purpose
To support young people aged 18+ with a range of disabilities/neurodiversity to progress towards and into employment. The role will be to primarily liaise with employers and brokering new opportunities for supported and unsupported employment. You will also work with young people assessing their employability skills and place young people into employment, some voluntary roles and work placements. Specialist one to one job coaching will be required to enable young people to progress towards their own goals and objectives.
Working Conditions

- Deliver intensive one-to-one support to individuals across all aspects of employment preparation and progression.

- Assess and advise on financial implications related to part-time employment and disability benefits for individuals.
- Support YP in developing employment-related skills and connect them with relevant training opportunities.
- Provide initial workplace support to YP before transitioning ongoing support to their EC.
- Refer YP to specialist services for additional advice and support when appropriate.
- Develop tailored plans to help YP achieve their employment goals.
- Deliver or coordinate coaching and training sessions as required.
Collaboration & Case Management
- Collaborate weekly with AFK’s Senior Employment Coach to match job roles to YP from EC caseloads.
- Monitor YP progress into employment and maintain accurate records.
Administration & Professional Development
- Complete all administrative tasks associated with the role in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in learning and development activities identified through regular appraisals and reviews.
Undertake any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Executive Director of Services and the Employment & Skills Manager.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Trusts and Philanthropy fundraiser, to manage a portfolio of high level funders, whose support is vital to the work of Become.
Working closely with the Trusts and Philanthropy Manager and the wider Fundraising team, the postholder will research potential funders, write compelling grant applications, and build strong relationships with funders to ensure continued and increased support. They will have a strong track record of securing five/six-figure funding from trusts and foundations, and other giving vehicles, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Location
We are currently hybrid working: our team primarily works from home. In-person attendance at some meetings will be expected approximately once or twice every month, usually at our central hot-desking location in Old Street, London. For non-London based staff we will consider hot-desking options near you, if required. Additionally, as a charity providing services to England Become covers the cost of travel within England for essential in-person meetings. We are open to conversations about flexible working arrangements.
