This new role will take over responsibility for developing and managing all finance activities and reporting in this rapidly growing charity. You will have the opportunity to shape the role and the evolution of the charity as we grow, implementing financial processes and systems. As a key member of the Management Committee, you will work closely with the CEO, the Office Manager and the Honorary Treasurer.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial records of all income received and expenditure incurred
• Implement a new accounting system, as the charity’s growth takes it from excel bookkeeping to a new integrated finance and reporting system
• Liaise with the payroll bureau to ensure accurate and timely processing and payment of monthly salaries and related costs
•  Working with the FHL office in Bethlehem, maintain accurate records of grants paid
•  Monitor and maintain correct reporting of Restricted and Unrestricted income and expenditure
• Manage all UK banking activities and maintain oversight of the charity’s bank accounts in Bethlehem 
• Prepare, validate and submit regular Gift Aid claims to HMRC
• Prepare monthly management accounts for the Management Committee and Board of Trustees
• Working with the CEO and Treasurer, prepare annual budgets and periodic reforecasts as required
• Working closely with our external auditors, deliver an effective year end close and audit process and ensure submission of Annual Trustees’ Report and Financial Statements to the Charity Commission 
• Supervise the Office Finance Administrator
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of financial policies, procedures and controls
• Perform any other duties as reasonably required within this role to support the work of the charity

As a Rehoming Coordinator, you will:

Rights of Women (ROW) is looking for a woman criminal lawyer to join our team as a Legal Officer (Family & Criminal Law) Locum. The postholder will be part of Rights of Women’s Family Law team and will play a key role in delivering the organisation’s core services to women affected by sexual violence and other forms of violence against women and girls (VAWG). 

The post holder will provide specialist legal advice through Rights of Women’s telephone advice lines, contribute to the delivery of training, and support the development of accessible legal information through publications and other resources. They will also support survivor engagement and contribute to Rights of Women’s policy work, helping to drive systemic change for women’s rights. 

The Legal Officer will play a leading role in maintaining and developing Rights of Women’s online peer-to-peer forum, which builds the capacity of professionals supporting women survivors. This includes supporting the online community, producing legally accurate and relevant public-facing content in response to queries and emerging themes, and contributing to a regular online newsletter. 

Salary: £16,191.20 (14 hours / 2 days) per annum (Gross Pay) plus 3% pension contribution. Full-time equivalent (FTE) salary: £ 40,478.01

You’ll be part of the East Anglia Team, led by a Funding Manager, and comprised of four other Funding Officers, that sits within the wider team of London, South East and East. LSE&E is one of the largest teams in the Fund (circa 55 people) and distributes over £130m annually. The team is committed to learning and impact and the role offers a chance to gain insight into and learn from the fantastic work communities are doing on the ground and how this can be used to help others.

As part of our funding team you will assess applications for funding and manage grants from our Reaching Communities programme. You will use your local knowledge and experience, and the experience of our grant holders and local stakeholders, to ensure we are making the best decisions on the grants we make. By working closely with people and communities from a defined geographical area, you will understand what matters to them and where our funding can make the biggest difference. 

You will gain an understanding of our vision, our commitment to equity and inclusion and our funding programmes. You will be responsible for your own caseload; liaise with grant recipients, visit projects, identify and manage risks, supporting organisations to deliver their projects and measure their impact.

You will need to understand and respond to the different needs of our applicants and grant holders by providing advice and feedback and be willing to have challenging but constructive conversations.

You will:

· Plan and deliver Sprints end to end, including kick-offs, check-ins and in-person workshops developing agendas, content and facilitation materials

· Coordinate the setting of sprint and year-end goals, milestones and priorities aligned to FutureDotNow’s strategy

· Track actions, risks and interdependencies across sprint teams, maintaining momentum and resolving blockers

The Relationship Giving Manager plays a leading and hands on role in designing and implementing the supporter acquisition, retention and development plans. Focusing on growing reach, engagement and ultimately income across Individual Giving, Legacy and In Memory activity.

Overall Duties of the role will include:

• Being an accessible point of contact for the children living with our carers and to our young people, keeping them up to date with the facilities and opportunities available with TACT

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Team: Fundraising and Supporter Engagement / Strategy and Engagement 

As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will help the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust build strong, meaningful partnerships with organisations. Your work will focus on researching new opportunities, planning how to grow partnerships, and developing approaches that support both short term and long term income for the charity. 

A key part of the role is building and maintaining relationships. You will do this through clear communication, regular updates, and supportive stewardship. You will also write engaging and easy to understand partnership proposals that show how organisations can benefit from working with the Trust, while also helping to advance our mission. 

You will be working closely with the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team, who are motivated, passionate, and supportive. Together, you will promote the Trust’s work and create partnerships that help more people to walk, wheel, and cycle.

• Developing a new business strategy that increases sponsorship income from corporate partners.
• Creating partnership offers that provide value to both sides. These should attract companies that share our values and can support our projects, products, and programmes.
• Securing new sponsorship and significantly grow income by developing clear and persuasive proposals. This includes shaping each proposal through regular engagement with corporate contacts and coordinating input from multiple teams to produce strong, evidence-based submissions.
• Providing excellent stewardship to all partners. This includes personalised communication, meaningful recognition, tailored events, and clear reporting. The goal is to build long term, positive relationships with both prospects and existing partners. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with delivery colleagues to develop engaging and persuasive communications, developing strong relationships with partners and the rewarding challenge of fundraising!

We are in the first year of our next strategic period, and this is an exciting moment to join the Charitable Foundation team as its new Fundraising Manager (Individual Giving). 

Our individual giving (IG) programme is at a pivotal stage of development, and the Fundraising Manager will play a key role in helping us to deliver this and meet our ambitious income targets.  This is a senior role that will lead the delivery of the IG strategy, driving engagement and sustainable income growth from across the SJP community — Partners, Advisers and employees.

Reporting to the Head of Foundation and working within a collaborative team of seven, the Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping donor engagement, enhancing stewardship pathways, and ensuring delivery of annual income targets to support the Foundation’s grant-making in the UK and overseas.

This role will influence senior stakeholders across SJP, be central to building meaningful relationships with our donors, and help embed a strong culture of giving throughout the community.

What you’ll be doing:

Individual Giving Strategy & Income Growth

· Lead the development and delivery of a long-term Individual Giving strategy, covering regular giving, donations, legacies and celebration giving.

· Drive donor acquisition, retention, upgrade and reactivation activity.

· Develop and implement robust, donor-centric stewardship pathways to maximise engagement and lifetime value.

· Deliver targeted, multi-channel internal fundraising campaigns across SJP digital platforms.

· Use data-led insights, audience segmentation and testing to optimise performance and ensure continued innovation.

· Monitor and evaluate IG performance, reporting insights and recommendations to the Head of Foundation and Board of Trustees.

· Manage the IG budget to deliver strong ROI and achieve agreed income targets.

· Identify funding gaps and implement corrective actions where required.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

· Build and support major donor relationship development alongside the Head of Foundation.

· Work closely with the Fundraising Manager (Events & Committees) and Foundation Co-ordinator to motivate and grow Regional Foundation Committees.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced and strategically minded fundraising professional who combines strong commercial awareness with a passion for charitable impact. You will be confident influencing stakeholders across SJP, highly data literate, and motivated by delivering sustainable income growth.

Essential Criteria:

· Extensive experience developing and delivering strategic Individual Giving programmes within a medium to large charity.

· Proven track record of achieving income growth through donor acquisition, retention and stewardship strategies.

Our Newport based centre is at the heart of Blue Cross’s work in South East Wales, providing vital services in a creative, community-focused way. We don’t have kennels or catteries on site, so we think differently to help pets and their people, from running a busy food bank to delivering rehoming and support services for a variety of animals.

As Assistant Manager – Client Services, you’ll be at the forefront of this work. You’ll:

• Lead the client services team to deliver exceptional care from first enquiry through to adoption or other support
• Work closely with the team to assess and admit pets, match them with the right adopters, and guide clients through every step of their journey
• Use data and insights to shape services and continuously improve client experience
• Collaborate with the local leadership team to meet targets and drive pet welfare outcomes
• Be hands-on with day-to-day operations including managing enquiries, prioritising admissions and carrying out practical tasks as they arise

This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week on a rota that includes 1 in 3 weekends and bank holidays. The working day is from 8.30am to 5.00pm.
