This is a very special role to provide holistic health and wellbeing of those who visit our open drop-in at the Vineyard Community Centre in Richmond. To us, they are our guests, not 'clients', 'patients' or users'.
This will include personal health screening, and holistic health support; also to provide health education, and liaison with outside agencies and local surgery. Many of our guests have multiple and complex needs involving, mental health, drug/alcohol dependency and homelessness.
You’ll report to our Community Nursing Manager and work with our Case Worker and Caseworkers from the Glass Door charity, and external hosted partner organisations like SPEAR and C.A.B.

Main Purpose Of The Job:

• To lead the Housing First team providing excellent trauma informed support to 40+ Housing First residents in Oxford City.
• To work closely with commissioners on delivery of the service, to develop and maintain strategic relationships with Oxford City Council, housing providers, NHS services, Adult Social Care, Probation and voluntary sector partners.
• Provide reflective, trauma-informed supervision and support to staff.
• Lead safeguarding, risk management and multi-disciplinary case reviews.
• Ensure adherence to Housing First fidelity and continuous quality improvement.
• To ensure that Homeless Oxfordshire delivers effective and high-quality support that meets the evolving needs of our residents.

Each year, we reach around 35,000 children and young people through the delivery of our Financial Education Money Workshops in schools, colleges and community groups across the UK. As the Volunteer Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring those volunteers feel welcomed, supported, valued and able to make the greatest possible impact.

About the role
Working closely with the Head of Volunteering, you will play a key role in translating the Volunteering Strategy into day-to-day practice across the organisation.
You'll coordinate the volunteer journey from enquiry and recruitment through to onboarding, training, support, engagement and recognition. You'll be a trusted point of contact for volunteers, helping them feel confident in their role whilst also supporting colleagues across the organisation to involve volunteers effectively and confidently.
Alongside maintaining strong operational processes, you'll also help identify opportunities to improve the volunteer experience, strengthen volunteer engagement and support delivery of our Volunteering Strategy.
You'll also provide advice and support to colleagues across Rainbows, helping them involve volunteers effectively and create positive volunteering experiences.
