We are looking for an energetic, organised and enthusiastic challenge event and corporate fundraiser to join our ambitious fundraising team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in fundraising, ideally working within the corporate or challenge event fields.

You will play a key role in growing our corporate income by stewarding existing relationships and cultivating new ones. Alongside growing our TEAM ORPHEUS! Challenge event. Working closely with the Partnerships Manager and Deputy Head of Fundraising, you’ll help the organisation prepare for significant planned growth and an upcoming capital appeal

​Key responsibilities

• Deliver against corporate income targets in line with our fundraising strategy.
• Identify, cultivate and secure new corporate partnerships, including Charity of the Year opportunities, sponsorships and corporate fundraising campaigns.
• Steward existing corporate supporters with high-quality engagement, communication and reporting.Plan and manage corporate supporter engagement opportunities including meetings, volunteering days and events.Recruit and engage participants to sign up for fundraising challenge events.
• Provide excellent supporter care by guiding participants before, during, and after their challenge.

About the Role

We are looking for a Chief Operations Officer to lead the operations team, join the management team and support the CEO. About the job - An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our supported housing services in Wandsworth.The service has 30 units of accommodation across 5 sites. This role will operate across our various levels of supported housing, including a flexible threshold unit that adopts a harm reduction approach with flexible tolerance toward drug use.      

You will be part of a team providing support to the residents in the service and will be required to work on a rota basis that includes every other weekend. The service is set up to support residents to stabilise their substance use, focusing on harm reduction whilst improving independent living skills and achieving their individual goals. As a keyworker, you would keywork not less than 2 residents, providing support and advice through regular planned keywork sessions. In addition, you would work closely with our partner organisations to ensure that the residents receive support tailored to their needs. You would also contribute to the running of in-house groups and sessions, as well as external activities and days out, 

You will receive on the job training and support, as well as access to a wide range of learning opportunities, both from Cranstoun and partner organisations. We are looking for people with experience of providing support to people with multiple disadvantages, experience of working in a supported housing setting would also be advantageous. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Community Fundraising Manager with exceptional attention to detail, strong prospecting skills and a proven track record of securing income through excellent supporter stewardship.

About the role

An ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in corporate fundraising or charity retail, you’ll play a key role in developing Shelter’s retail presence and raising vital funds. You’ll be responsible for enabling stock donations from major retailers and helping research and develop new relationships with businesses to generate stock and secure their expertise on a pro-bono basis.

Thinking strategically, identifying new opportunities, and bringing ideas and concepts to life through written proposals and pitches to businesses in order to generate support for Shelter – all are aspects of a role that will also see you ensure the smooth running of our Stock Generation administration processes and help the Senior New Corporate Partnerships Manager (Retail), with day-to-day activities.

About you

As well as being keen to develop a career in charity retail and fundraising, you also feel passionate about working with companies to help tackle homelessness. What’s more, you believe you have what it takes to plan and source new stock generation opportunities and develop new acquisition tactics and campaign ideas that will engage retailers. You will have the ability to generate creative and imaginative proposals and take the initiative to develop new relationships with brands and retailers.

An understanding of the sustainability agenda for businesses and ability to apply commercial and financial principles to improve business performance would be a definite advantage. We’re also looking for someone friendly and personable, with strong relationship building skills who can manage a busy workload, work well as part of a team and is proficient using Microsoft Office applications and databases.

About the team

Shelter’s mature fundraising team has seen continuous year on year growth. The directorate generates over £65m gross income, of which a high percentage is unrestricted, giving us an exceptional level of investment flexibility. This particular role sits within our High Value Partnerships division, which includes Philanthropy, Trusts & Foundations, Legacies, and Corporate Partnerships fundraising specialists. It will also see you work closely with colleagues in a Retail team that’s responsible for a network of 77 charity shops and boutique stores that are the face of Shelter on the high street.

Multibank Scotland tackles poverty and waste by redistributing essential goods to people who need them. We work through a network of charities, community organisations and frontline services to provide families and individuals with items such as clothing, toiletries, bedding, baby products, household goods and other essentials.

We currently operate across Fife, Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh, and are expanding into Glasgow. Role Overview

The Head of Partnerships and Development will lead Multibank Scotland’s partnership and development activity.

This is a senior, outward-facing role for someone who can identify opportunities, make clear and compelling asks, build trust quickly and turn ideas into practical partnerships. We are looking for someone who creates momentum and follows opportunities through, rather than someone focused solely on networking or stakeholder management.

The role will lead the day-to-day development pipeline across corporate partnerships, product supply, strategic relationships, expansion opportunities, funding proposals and supporter stewardship.

A central part of the role will be developing partnerships that increase the volume, quality and range of goods available for redistribution. This will include working with businesses, manufacturers, retailers, logistics providers and other organisations to secure donated goods, services, expertise and in-kind support.

The postholder will also help expand Multibank Scotland’s reach. Working closely with the Chief Executive and the Scotland-wide Operations Manager, they will support the development of new partnerships, satellite sites and delivery models across Scotland.

Fundraising will form part of the role, but it is not primarily a traditional fundraising post. The emphasis is on building strategic partnerships that create long-term value, whether through goods, funding, services, expertise, infrastructure or collaboration.

The Chief Executive will continue to lead on overall strategy, major funder relationships, Board reporting, governance, finance and key organisational decisions. The successful candidate will add senior capacity at an important stage of growth, helping to turn external interest and opportunity into delivery and lasting impact.
