Working closely with the CEO, Marketing Manager, trustees and external fundraising consultants, you'll play a leading role in developing individual giving, patron schemes, sponsorship, trusts and foundations fundraising, and donor stewardship. Key elements and tasks within this role include:

• Data insight & impact strategy development with organisational data analysis, trend forecasting, research & campaigns and evidencing social return on investment. Leverage client data to produce high-impact insight reports, drive local, regional and national campaign work.
• Shape the future of service delivery by embedding sustainable ways of working, processes and performance frameworks, leading evidence-based recommendations that support CABB’s long-term operating model and growth ambitions, to meet client demand. 
• Collaborate and build relationships across VCSE/statutory, health and wider systems, including colleagues across CABB and wider stakeholders, build positive and professional relationships with partners and contract/ funder relationships within the scope of this role. Foster positive relationships with Head of Advice Standards & Delivery, and wider SLT, deputising as required.
• Support community & generalist services through senior oversight of generalist advice teams and managers, but frame responsibilities around high-level service performance, governance and client outcomes, aligned to advice standards. 
• Drive service improvement & innovation using data and technology to support continuous improvement, contribution to organisational strategic pillars and values.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and strengthen participation and co-production across Family Action's London services. This role will enable children, young people, families and adults to influence the design, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of services, ensuring that lived experience is at the heart of decision-making.

As the regional lead for participation and co-production, you will provide leadership and specialist advice to managers, build organisational capacity, and establish sustainable participation structures across London. While the role has a broad regional remit, youth participation will be the initial priority area.

Main Responsibilities:

· Lead and champion participation and co-production across Family Action's London services.

· Support the implementation, development and continuous improvement of Family Action's national Participation and Co-production Strategy across London services, ensuring regional learning and lived experience inform organisational practice.

· Coordinate regional participation initiatives, including advisory groups, consultations, engagement activities and co-production opportunities.

· Establish sustainable participation structures, including a Young People's Advisory Group during the initial phase of the role.

· Support managers and teams to embed inclusive participation and co-production approaches within services.

· Work collaboratively with EDI, Learning & Development, Practice Development and Communications colleagues to promote participation, share learning and communicate impact.

· Monitor, evaluate and evidence impact, contributing to service improvement, partnership development and future sustainability.

We are looking for someone with:

· Experience of leading, facilitating and embedding participation, engagement and co-production approaches within services or organisations.

· Experience of influencing managers, leading projects and driving positive organisational change.

· Experience of facilitating inclusive engagement and empowering people with lived experience to influence decisions affecting their lives and communities.

About the role:

Real change rarely happens in a straight line. At our Milton House project, you’ll work alongside people who have experienced homelessness, trauma and multiple disadvantage, offering the consistency, practical support and belief that can help them begin moving forward.

As a Project Worker, you’ll hold a caseload and build purposeful, trusting relationships with clients. You’ll complete assessments, develop person-centred support and safety plans, and help people identify goals that feel meaningful and achievable to them. This could include supporting someone to improve their health, address substance use, manage their accommodation, strengthen their daily living skills or reconnect with services and opportunities in their community.

You’ll be there when situations become challenging, responding calmly to risk, safeguarding concerns and periods of crisis while continuing to recognise each person’s strengths and potential. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you’ll advocate for clients, coordinate joined-up support and help remove the barriers that have previously prevented them from accessing the help they need.

This is a hands-on and varied role where no two days will look the same. Alongside direct support, you’ll contribute to the safe and effective running of the accommodation, maintain clear and accurate records and help create an environment where clients are treated with dignity, respect and hope. You’ll also receive ongoing training, reflective practice and development opportunities to strengthen your skills and build your future career within SHP.

The working rota for this post is Monday - Friday, with no weekend shifts. The rota will consist of a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 10.30pm).

About the role:

For someone moving away from rough sleeping, having a safe place to stay can be the first step towards something much bigger. Gray’s Inn Road is a 16 bed short stay service in Camden, giving people the stability, support and breathing space they need to begin rebuilding their lives and move towards a home they can sustain.

As Service Manager, you’ll lead the team that makes that possible. You’ll create a service where people are treated with dignity, listened to and supported as individuals, while giving your team the leadership, challenge and encouragement they need to do their best work. From the quality of assessments and support planning to safeguarding, risk management and move on, you’ll set the standard for practice and make sure residents receive consistent, psychologically informed support that responds to what matters to them.

You’ll also build the relationships that help people move forward. Working closely with housing, health, substance use, criminal justice and other partners, you’ll help remove barriers, strengthen pathways into support and create more opportunities for residents beyond the service. Alongside this, you’ll take ownership of the wider performance of Gray’s Inn Road – keeping a close eye on quality, outcomes, housing management, health and safety, budgets and contractual expectations, and always looking for ways the service can become even better.

Research Programmes Manager

We have established a number of high-profile strategic initiatives to help us advance our work towards a cure. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Research Programme Manager to support the successful ongoing delivery of two of our major initiatives, the Drug Discovery Alliance and Brains for Dementia Research, and collaborate across the organisation and externally to maximise their impact. Where required, the successful candidate will also support the ongoing delivery of our other major initiatives, working collaboratively across the organisation to maximise their impact both internally and externally.

This role sits within the Strategic Programmes team in the Research Directorate, an ambitious, supportive and friendly team that funds the best research to transform the lives of people affected by all forms of dementia. We’re looking for someone with strong programme management experience, a good eye for detail and who is excited by the opportunities in the dementia research landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of two of ARUK’s major initiatives, Drug Discovery Alliance (DDA) and Brains for Dementia Research (BDR), and other initiatives as required:

· Develop a deep understanding of the programmes, acting as a point of knowledge and expertise

· Implement robust and proportionate review processes to oversee delivery of objectives and manage risks

· Ensure finances are effectively reported on and managed, working with the Research Funding and Finance teams

· Lead the preparation of papers and briefings for meetings, and support the Research Officer to ensure minutes and actions are captured and followed up on

Monitor and disseminate the impact of the DDA and BDR, to effectively tell the story of the initiatives and identify gaps:

· Monitor key programme progress, scientific developments and major outputs

· Work with the Impact team to ensure data gathered from the programme meets the needs of the wider organisation in terms of communicating progress and impact

· Work with the Public Involvement team to ensure the initiatives are reflective of the needs of people with lived experience

Stakeholder management

· Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the initiatives to identify opportunities to maximise their impact and value.

· Collaborate with the Head of Strategic Programmes and colleagues across the Research Directorate and wider ARUK to identify opportunities to strengthen programme objectives, provide updates on progress, and promote achievements.

· Act as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for the initiatives, both internally and externally.

· Support development of the strategic programme team’s strategy:

· Contribute to internal meetings, including discussions and content on strategic programmes and new initiatives

· Maintain up to date knowledge of developments in the dementia research field

· Attend meetings and events to build relationships and promote our strategic programmes

· Support the Research Leadership team to enhance ARUK’s external profile through active participation in meetings and collaborations with key stakeholders

Line Management Responsibilities:

· Line management of a Research Officer, effectively delegating work to support delivery of their objectives

· Help to promote an inspiring team culture where personal development is prioritised

Knowledge, skills and experience needed:

· Degree in Biomedical Science, or equivalent relevant knowledge and experience.

· Experience and/or in-depth knowledge in early-stage drug discovery, ideally in dementia

· Proven experience managing large programmes of work, preferably in the healthcare, research or charity sector

· Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple priorities, overseeing budgets and identifying risks

· Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including external partners and suppliers

· Experience defining programme requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

· Experience of managing staff and/or leading the delivery of work through others.

Key Responsibilities:

Policy development

· Develop and manage programmes of work on key strategic policy areas that position ARUK as a key influencer both nationally and internationally.  This may include the commissioning of external evidence generation.

· Provide expertise on the relevant evidence, insight, and policy context to enable the development of new innovative policy ideas and solutions that deliver on our strategic priorities.

· Manage the development of substantial and credible policy outputs, including briefings, reports, submissions to government departments and their agencies, parliamentary committees, and other UK and international organisations as appropriate.

· Work with the Policy Communications team to ensure our policy work is disseminated to our key audiences via a range of appropriate channels to maximise our reach and impact.

· Develop and maintain mechanisms to keep abreast of the policy environment.

· Analyse, interpret and make judgements on complex project activities, delegating and managing the policy advisors to achieve set deliverables through their management of day-to-day activities. As Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns works in a matrix structure this may include managing deliverables with policy advisors across the team.

· Support the join-up between projects and across the wider team to ensure shared knowledge and the opportunity to maximise influence and impact.

Stakeholder engagement and management

· Develop and manage stakeholder engagement of key policy contacts.

· Actively promote patient and public involvement in the development and delivery of projects.

· Work with Public Affairs colleagues to strengthen existing and emerging relationships with political and other parliamentary stakeholders to maximise the impact of our policy work.

· Attend external working groups and help develop partnerships beneficial to ARUK.

· Work with other charities to ensure ARUK is playing a leadership role in shaping government medical research policy.

Research and data analysis

· Oversee the analysis of necessary data and evidence, working with other ARUK colleagues, to produce accurate, timely and insightful policy materials, briefings and media stories.

The Accounts Receivable Controller plays a key role in the financial management of the School, ensuring the accurate and timely billing, reconciliation, and collection of all tuition, transport, financial aid, after-school, and extracurricular fees. The role manages billing and collection processes for over 900 families and partner organisations, ensuring data accuracy, financial compliance, and an exceptional level of customer service.

This position supports approximately £50 million in annual tuition and related income and requires a detail-oriented, technology-savvy, and proactive professional capable of operating efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Billing and Data Management

• Manage end-to-end billing for tuition, transportation, financial aid, after-school programs, and all ancillary charges for the School and its subsidiary.

• Maintain accurate family and student billing records in the school’s finance and student information systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central).

• Collaborate with Admissions, and departmental administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely updates to student and fee data.

• Generate, review, and distribute invoices within strict deadlines; ensure compliance with Accounting and VAT regulations as well as school policies and contractual obligations.

• Monitor and reconcile data between finance, admissions, and student databases to ensure billing integrity.

• Prepare and maintain accurate audit trails for all transactions.

Collections and Customer Relations

• Manage the collection of fees and ensure that payments are received in line with the School’s terms and conditions.

• Communicate effectively and empathetically with parents, companies, and sponsors regarding outstanding balances.

• Negotiate payment plans where appropriate, maintaining professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive personal circumstances.

• Work collaboratively with the Finance Manager and Director of Finance & Operations to review overdue accounts and agree on next steps.

Reconciliation and Reporting

• Perform regular reconciliations between the fees ledger, bank accounts, and other sub-ledgers.

• Analyse billing and cash flow trends; prepare reports for management, auditors, and the Board as required.

• Produce insightful analytical reports on billing to assist in long-term financial planning.

• Support external audits and provide all necessary documentation related to fees and revenue.

Systems, Innovation, and Process Improvement

• Utilise financial systems effectively; identify opportunities to improve automation, reporting accuracy, and user experience.

• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives such as online payment platforms, automated invoicing, and data analytics tools.

• Ensure compliance with relevant UK financial, consumer, and data protection legislation, including GDPR, Consumer Credit Act, and HMRC guidelines.

• Maintain awareness of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and apply appropriate due diligence when processing and verifying payments from individuals and organisations.

• Identify and escalate potential compliance or irregular payment concerns to the Director of Finance & Operations.

• Develop and document best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency.

Teamwork and Collaboration

• Work closely with colleagues across Finance, Admissions, Operations, and Academic departments.

• Provide support and training to other team members on billing processes and systems.
