Your role
The new People and Culture Lead will be working closely with the Head of People and Culture to ensure recruitment, onboarding, employee reward, employment relations, learning and development and projects serve the long-term goals of CMS.
You are responsible for delivering professional HR service that supports that necessary operations, vision and strategy. This applies specifically to UK contracted staff (some of whom work overseas) and providing support for volunteers (including CMS Trustees) and consultants.
What you’ll need to succeed
The People and Culture Lead role (1-year, fixed term contract, 3 days per week) will require CIPD Level 5 accreditation and you will have proven HR experience at a Business Partner or Officer level which includes experience in recruitment, employee relations, policy and ideally Payroll. You will have a good understanding of UK employment law and best HR practice.
It is also a requirement for this post holder to be a committed and practising Christian as well as committed to CMS’s values and aims.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the end to end management of our month long virtual challenges , delivering marketing plans in collaboration with agency support and stewarding supporters to ensure engagement and participation. The Role
The Director of Development is responsible for leading a dedicated Development team to secure sustainable income from corporates, trusts and foundations, high-net-worth individuals, events, and statutory bodies.

· Experience of working with senior stakeholders and trustees to secure funding and support.
· Experience managing fundraising systems and reporting processes, including Salesforce.

About the team
This position sits within the UK Finance team, specifically within the Management Accounting team based in London. About the role
As our Finance Business Partner you will regularly support and advise UK team leaders and senior managers to review financial aspects of their financial performance and plans, working closely with People, Finance & IT, Policy and Campaigns, and parts of the international programmes directorates.

- Continue to develop the systematic forecasting process for departments and ensure robust 3 year financial plans are implemented

Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Completed a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
- Experience of formulating, overseeing and reporting on operational plans, including KPIs.
- Demonstrable innovative ability; using data and insight to inform recommendations for improvements to products, processes or activities.
- Proven experience of using insight and analysis to provide trends, inform and drive business decisions.
- Keen interest in information systems, ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience of accounting for restricted funds, preferably in an international organisation.
- Adaptability to build effective working relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues and work in a collaborative way.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and co-ordinate multiple tasks and confident to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Working knowledge of a budgeting and forecasting system.
- Experience of using Power BI.
- Working knowledge of SUN Vision Excel, or a similar multi-dimensional accounting system.

We are seeking a Head of Partnerships & Events to join our highly successful Philanthropy team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications to develop and enhance our Corporate and Special Events Programme. This is very much a hands-on role of team leadership and direct account management. This includes six figure partners and our key relationships with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, The Dorchester Hotel and international insurer Fidelis. Special Events include our Winter Ball which raises over £500k annual and our Golf Day at around £100k. The post-holder has a key role in the management of our Philanthropy & Corporate Board, which bring together industry leader to help move both these programmes forward. There is great freedom to innovate and a healthy pool of local business with an affinity to our cause. The post-holder takes a key leadership role across fundraising and marketing, working with their peers (Heads) and Director to take strategic decisions for wider benefit of the department. Having invested in the team’s capacity, we aim to grow income from c. £1.5m to £2m over the next few years. This in the broader context of a total voluntary income target for the charity of £5m-£6m.
The Head of Partnerships & Events leads a team of two currently, although this may increase. We have a Corporate Manager and Events Manger with support from the Philanthropy Officer.
