To date we have been awarded more than 20 contracts to deliver Personal Wellbeing, Finance, Benefit & Debt and Women’s Services across England and Wales. 

About this exciting opportunity
The focus of this key role will be to manage the data team to support colleagues across one or more contracts awarded by the HMPPS to deliver Finance Benefit and Debt (FBD) in Wales. We will expect you to monitor and manage the receipt of referrals from Probation through the Customer Approved System (CAS) and the CAS itself to ensure all inputting is accurate and within agreed timescales, providing regular activity reports to the FBD Contract Manager.

We will also rely on you to be the primary point of contact for all enquiries, both external and internal, to ensure communication channels are clear and effective, while also liaising closely with external stakeholders, delivery partners, spot purchase providers and other agencies to arrange appointments, referrals, and generally ensure information exchanged is done in a clear, timely and effective manner.  Developing and maintaining processes for recording and monitoring resource allocation and positively representing the St Giles Wise partnership in all external meetings, including conferences, seminars, and other events are also vital elements of this role.

What we are looking for

• Experience of working in services which provide support to people who have faced adversity and disadvantage
• A sound understanding of the barriers faced by people with complex and multiple needs 
• Understanding of Trauma Informed practice and how to apply it in supporting service users 
• Knowledge of risk/safeguarding best practice and of relevant services in the local community
• The ability to input data onto Customer Relationship Management Systems accurately
• Impressive interpersonal, prioritisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
• A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work.

About the role:

This role is home and office based, with travel throughout London. As a Male Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will: -

• Ensure that male survivors' safety and housing needs are met, provide specialist support for survivors at the moment of crisis.
• Provision of advocacy; supporting survivors to access safe accommodation, ensure that the service prioritises the safety, security and dignity of service users and their children

You will need:

• an understanding of domestic abuse & its impact
• knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning &risk management
• an understanding of Safeguarding issues &the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues
• knowledge of Housing Law, able to provide up to date advice & information to victims
• experience of working with housing agencies or in a housing setting in the context of domestic abuse
• strong communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals. Understand and be committed to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice
• strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful & difficult situations.

• work with other criminal justice system agencies to ensure a trauma informed & victim friendly response
• promote the service, ensuring it is accessible & open to all

As our National Youth Project and Campaigns Manager,  you will be responsible for delivering the charity’s youth strategy, we are looking for someone who is well organised, passionate and has a range of skills to work on a diverse project. You will develop engaging, innovative and creative national campaigns reaching young people, parents/guardians and professionals across the UK. This role involves both face to face and virtual support in a hybrid model of working. There is an expectation that you will do a mixture of working from home, our office in Old Street and in co-location at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

As a Hospital Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate you will:

• Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
• Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
• Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC & local partnership responses to domestic and sexual abuse
• Run group training sessions, sharing your specialist knowledge with acute staff across the hospital

• initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through procedures and protocols to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse
• specialise and be leading practitioner for Male victims of domestic abuse; providing advice, guidance and single point of contact for a male victims

You will need:

About the role:

This role is based at Accrington working in a multi agency team at Lancashire House. As a MARRAC Team Leader you will:

• Ensure the effective delivery of the MARRAC process, hosting daily discussions with dedicated partners to support the initial assessment process
• Ensure consistent service delivery by allocating & monitoring work across the team, prioritising according to risk

About the role:

The Foundation/Domestic Abuse Prevention Practitioner (FDAP) will play a key role in working directly with individuals using harmful/abusive behaviour within their intimate relationships. The role will include suitability and risk assessments, delivery of interventions, facilitation of group programmes, risk identification, information sharing and preparation of reports for courts and other agencies.

The FDAP Practitioner will be co-located into Priority Crime Teams situated in Newport Police Station to assist with the identification, screening, and engagement of individuals using harmful behaviour in their relationships, working closely with police to provide a timely and streamlined process for earlier identification, referral, and engagement/disruption of high harm perpetrators of domestic abuse.

For this role is it essential you have excellent understanding of domestic abuse, including the impact on victims and their children. Experience of working with individuals experiencing domestic abuse/ and or causing harm. Experience of group work delivery is desirable; however, we will consider applications from candidates who demonstrate an aptitude for the role.

You will need to be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes within a multi-agency setting. As well as being tenacious in support of your clients and adept at problem solving.

IT literacy is a must and candidates must evidence both the ability to use bespoke packages and excellence in their recording practice.

In partnership with HMP Liverpool and Liverpool City Council we run CAMEO (Come and Meet Each Other) a programme which offers a supportive, caring and stimulating environment for older people in prison. As Manager you will be in charge of setting up an innovative and engaging day centre which will provide meaningful activity and positive relationships, improves wellbeing, reduces social isolation and offers opportunities for rehabilitative interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build positive relationships with service users and foster effective stakeholder relationships with internal and external agencies in order to develop innovative and collaborative approaches to meet the needs of the prisoner cohort
• Be responsible for the overall development and continuous improvement of the service, keeping updated with and implementing best practice to maximise the effectiveness of the service
• Provide effective line management and support to the Assistant Manager
• As required, undertake and ensure that all relevant administration, data collection and analysis is collated and reported on, including monthly and annual reports to line management
• Be an active part of the wider CAMEO team, bringing meaningful contributions to team meetings, departmental strategy and development of the wider CAMEO programme
• Be accountable for ensuring the finances of the service remain within budget
