We’re Level Water - a founder-led charity solving unequal access to swimming for children with disabilities. We’re not a typical charity. We own our swim events and run them like a business, creating a sustainable income stream that directly funds our programmes. That model gives us the freedom to move fast, test ideas, and build something that doesn’t exist anywhere else.

The opportunity

This isn’t a “keep programmes running” role.

This is a build, lead, and scale a national delivery model role.

As Head of Programmes, you’ll own how Level Water’s programmes are designed, delivered, improved, and expanded. You’ll take a proven model, design for growth  and help turn it into something category-defining - working at pace, making smart decisions, and setting the standard for what inclusive swimming can look like across the UK.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and senior team, lead our brilliant programme function (a Training and Excellence Manager and Programmes Officer), and bring energy and momentum to a part of the organisation that sits right at the heart of our impact.

What you’ll actually own

Programme design, quality & scale

• You’ll own how Level Water’s programmes are designed, delivered, and grown - now and into the future.

• Set the strategic direction for our lesson delivery model, ensuring it scales without losing quality, care, or joy.

• Lead and develop the Programmes team, setting clear priorities, standards, and ways of working.

• Ensure programmes are safe, inclusive, effective, and consistently high-quality as delivery expands.

• Build the systems and processes that make great delivery easier at scale, not harder.

Impact, learning & continuous improvement

• You’ll define how we understand, measure, and improve our impact - and use learning to drive better delivery.

• Ensure we gather meaningful insight from families, swimmers, teachers, and partners.

• Turn data and feedback into clear learning that actively shapes programme decisions.

• Lead Level Water’s approach to impact reporting for funders, partners, Trustees, and the Board, alongside the Senior Leadership Team.

• Set clear success measures and use them to guide prioritisation, iteration, and growth.

Strategic partnerships, funding & sector influence

• You’ll build the relationships and credibility that enable sustainable programme growth and wider change.

• Build and manage strategic partnerships with national pool operators and delivery partners.

• Secure and manage national agreements that unlock scale and improve access.

• Work closely with Fundraising to shape strong, realistic programme content for grants and funding proposals.

• Own the programme side of grant-funded delivery, ensuring work is well planned, delivered to a high standard, and reported with clarity and confidence.

• Represent Level Water externally as a credible, influential voice in inclusive swimming, helping to shift culture and practice across the sector.

Situated within beautiful gardens and grounds, the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) is a leading national centre of excellence and one of the longest-running charities and independent hospitals in the UK.

Set in a stunning Grade II listed Victorian building, the RHN provides adult person-centred services across the entire care pathway—from post-acute rehabilitation to end-of-life care—for people with complex neuro-disabilities and their families. The role:

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability for an ambitious and strategic Head of Fundraising to lead and expand the RHN’s income generation and manage and drive a high performing team.

The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for generating income from all fundraising income streams: Community, Events, Corporate, Trusts and Foundations, Legacy and Direct Mail (Donor Development). They will oversee all aspects of fundraising, including developing and implementing the Fundraising Strategy, managing key donor relationships, driving forward any capital appeals and leading a team of fundraising professionals.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a passionate, positive and highly experienced individual with a proven track record in senior fundraising roles within the charity sector and experience of successful income generation.  Candidates must be skilled on donor stewardship and stakeholder engagement, as well as being a confident and engaging public speaker.  Knowledge of fundraising standards and best practice are essential.

Main objectives of the role:

• Establish fundraising priorities and set fundraising goals in line with the wider organisational strategy
• Achieve the fundraising target and KPIs
• Lead on the organisation of a full calendar of fundraising events and activity and ensure applications are made in a timely manner
• Engage with Fellows, Trustees and volunteers to ensure wider RHN engagement
• Engage with internal teams to ensure the timely promotion of events, activities and to ensure engagement
• Work with clinical service teams particularly those areas fully funded by fundraising, to provide case studies and outcome reports
• To work closely with the Communications team to fully utilise social media and the RHN website for all fundraising events and activities.
• Act as the primary contact for volunteer committees and external partners as necessary

We are happy to consider applicants who are looking to work part-time for a minimum of 3 days a week. 

Candidates must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Headway Gloucestershire was established in 1987 and since then we have been working to make a positive difference to the lives of adults with an acquired brain injury. We provide specialist recovery support and respite through our centre-based Day Service, and outreach support through our Community Hubs and Community Links Service. We provide group and one to one sessions to support individuals.

Open every weekday, Headway House is at the heart of Headway Gloucestershire. We provide a structured programme of activities for individuals to choose from. Our programme is designed to support participants to work toward their own recovery goals and gain insight into strategies that support individuals to manage the physical, cognitive, sensory, emotional and behavioural outcomes which can occur following an acquired brain injury. Peer group sessions enable us to harness the recovery benefits of peer contact and support.

The Day Lead will be responsible for the organisation, planning, development and delivery of Headway Gloucestershire’s programme of activities.

Responsibilities include:

• To deliver professional, impartial, enabling and outcome focused support to Individuals with acquired brain injury. To provide support for clients with complex needs to support their recovery, wellbeing, independence and autonomy.
• Work closely with the Strategic Enablement and Hub Manager to ensure successful delivery of services.
• Networking with community providers to enrich our offer to enable us to meet the needs of individuals with acquired brain injury in Gloucestershire.
• The Day Lead will be responsible for the organisation, planning, development and delivery of Headway Gloucestershire’s activity programme and centre-based service.
• Ensure that safeguarding training and understanding is kept current and that individuals are safeguarded.
• Collaborate with staff members and volunteers to provide Key-working to individuals: - to use an enabling approach to support individuals to plan and work toward their recovery goals ensuring that planned activities are delivered and support provided is tailored to meet the needs of individuals to maximise our contribution to their recovery.

Carrying out the role at Headway House, you will work to clearly established quality standards and annual milestones. You will be joining a motivated and dynamic team of staff and volunteers working to making a difference to individuals with acquired brain injury in Gloucestershire.

About the Role

The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of both Freeways and Freeways Trust and will be responsible for developing  and delivering financial strategies that align with the charities' objectives while maintaining financial sustainability. Key Responsibilities

As Project Officer, you will play a dynamic role in planning and delivering practical walking, wheeling, and cycling projects that make a real difference to communities across Norfolk.

You will engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

This role involves regular travel, with work taking place at different locations to support and deliver projects for the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust. While we prioritise the use of active and sustainable travel you may be required to drive to some of our more rural areas.

As Corporate Partnerships Senior Officer, you will bring creativity, resilience, and strong organisational skills to the team. You will have a genuine passion for our cause and take a collaborative and detail-oriented approach to support the growth of our Corporate Partnerships programme. 

You will have a track record of securing new corporate partnerships or sponsorships, generating income and managing a diverse pipeline of opportunities.

You will work to deliver excellent, bespoke stewardship to nurture meaningful relationships with valued partners and open doors to new opportunities, generating vital income that supports the charity’s mission. 

You will work with colleagues across the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, Comms and Supporter Engagement sharing ideas, insights to develop impact-drive propositions and pitches using a story focussed approach to secure new support from corporate partners.

Alongside this, you will keep a thoughtful eye on progress, monitoring and reporting on partnership performance, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring everything we do reflects the highest standards of fundraising practice. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Support the delivery of the corporate partnerships programme, working with the corporate partnerships team to help secure high-value, strategic corporate partnerships with companies from a range of sectors.
• Help to generate significant income for the charity, increase awareness of our new brand and identify creative opportunities to engage new audiences in Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.
• Deliver excellent, tailored stewardship to retain and grow our existing partners support, in turn supporting the wider work of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Identify and secure new high-value partnerships which generate significant income, engage new audiences and increase awareness of Walk Wheel Cycle Trust’s new brand.
2. Deliver excellent partner stewardship and build strong relationships with partners helping to develop a pipeline of high-value, multi-year, strategic partnerships which support the charity’s strategic objectives.   
3. Working collaboratively with key teams across Impact, Comms and Fundraising, develop compelling pitches and propositions which demonstrate the impact of the charity and secure partners’ support.

• Manage a pipeline of new and existing partnership opportunities and track progress using the charity’s CRM to ensure excellent record keeping and administration.

1. Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders from the wider fundraising team, senior leadership, volunteering, communications and business development teams to gain their support and identify new partnership opportunities across the charity.

• Contribute to financial targets and reporting to inform the annual forecasting and budgeting process.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Team: National Cycle Network (NCN) Engagement

As the Principal Network Engagement Manager, you will lead the strategic planning, management and deliver of a diverse range of community-led engagement projects and programmes across the NCN

This leadership role will require expertise in programme delivery, stakeholder collaboration and Business Development, embedded with a string commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

It will require you to represent the charity at senior level, influencing key decision makers, ensuring that all programmes align with the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust’s strategic goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Improving the Charity’s frame for engaging with community groups
• The accountability for safeguarding, health and safety and complex risk assessment
• Lead on the delivery of programmes and projects designed to delivery the Charity’s “Love it” and “Green it” strategic aims

About the role

Listening Books is a national charity that provides an excellent audiobook lending service to anyone in the UK whose illness, disability, learning or mental health difficulty, impacts on their ability to read the printed word, or hold books. Our audiobook catalogue contains over 10,000 titles. We believe that books should be accessible to everyone.

The Membership and Recruitment Administrator will help increase referrals to our service, by building and developing relationships with local partner charities and other relevant organisations. They will allocate funding to eligible new and renewing sponsored members, helping to meet our funding requirements and expand the charity’s membership base.

They will undertake the retention of its sponsored and paying members, by contacting renewing individual and organisational members, with the intention of retaining as many as possible and encouraging their use of the audiobook service.

They will also provide administrative support to the charity, including answering the main telephone line and opening and processing post.

Location

This role is responsible for managing and developing the Charity’s portfolio of corporate partnerships. • Meet or exceed the corporate income/expenditure budgets in line with agreed KPI’s 

• Manage existing corporate relationships with a view to deepen engagement and develop levels of support.

• Develop and implement an effective process and programme to identify and secure the support of new businesses donors. 

• To lead on high level stewardship and engagement with committed partnerships 

• Work collaboratively to ensure relationships are maximised, using innovative tactics to keep partner employees of all levels engaged. 

• To foster loyalty and continued commitment to RDA, which will be measured by KPI’s focussed on longevity and depth of partnership. 

• To work collaboratively with the RDA Senior Leadership team to identify new business opportunities to pitch, present and acquire new partnerships. 

• Proactive management of partnerships, including regular touch points to ensure fundraising targets are met or exceeded and active plans are in place. 

• Create cultivation and engagement plans for the corporate partners senior leadership

• Working with the Head of Philanthropy, utilise existing mechanisms and develop new products to create a best practice supporter experience e.g. Ambassador programs, networking events, bespoke events (treks, quizzes, adrenaline events)

• Develop and grow strategies and programmes for relationship building and stewardship of existing corporate supporters. 

• Create and deliver compelling proposals and pitches to prospective new corporate supporters.
