Main Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the Trust’s fundraising, overseeing development of prospect pipelines and growing income year on year from membership, major donors, individual giving, legacies, corporate partnerships, grants and charitable trusts, ensuring that the Trust achieves its restricted and unrestricted income targets
• Inspire funding support for the Trust’s work through relationship-based fundraising with major donors, corporates and grant-making bodies
• Enable delivery colleagues to secure funding for their work, supporting the development of fundable projects and high quality bids and securing continuation funding
• Stimulate growth in individual giving from members and non-members through the development and implementation of an ambitious plan incorporating supporter development, recruitment and retention.
• Ensure fundraising systems are working effectively and all activity is compliant with the Trust’s policies, fundraising guidelines from regulators, and all relevant legislation, including Data Protection and Health and Safety.

Main purpose of the role
We have a dynamic Fundraising team and over the last three years we have seen an incredible growth across established income streams and creation of new exciting income streams. At the same time, the organisation is passionate and committed to increasing our activities so that more food can reach the 8,500 charities and community groups nationwide. To meet this ambition, we are looking to recruit a talented and experienced fundraiser as our Corporate Partnerships Officer who is able to jump straight in to help deliver our Corporate Fundraising strategy.

We are looking for an ambitious Corporate Partnerships Officer that wants to maximise fundraising opportunities with existing partners through excellent account management and also enjoys new business and converting leads to new partnerships. This role will be split with 60% of your time allocated to Account Management and 40% to New Business.
To be successful in this role, you will have knowledge and experience of managing and growing fundraising partnerships, as well as experience of working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be self-motivated with strong organisational skills and an ability to set priorities, contribute to a prospect pipeline and meet deadlines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management
- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate partnerships including strategic partnerships, commercial partnerships, charity of the year and corporate donations, and support Corporate Partnership Managers with responsibilities relating to larger partnerships.
- Deliver excellent partnership management including developing a partnership plan, meeting with stakeholders, delivery of partner benefits and account stewardship.
- Develop and deliver timely, relevant and engaging impact reporting.
- Develop new and grow existing corporate partnerships, drafting and negotiating partnership agreements, for the best outcomes across FareShare’s work and maximising the income potential.
- Maintain robust account growth plans, update pipelines and stakeholder mapping for your partners.

New Business
- Proactively approaching corporate opportunities following our new business strategy, writing funding proposals and approaching community groups for new partnerships
- Responding to volunteer enquiries from companies who want to work with FareShare and converting enquiries to new business leads when viable

- Maintaining accurate cultivation plans and reporting for new business approaches

Communication and Administration
- Develop PR and communication plans for corporate partners, working in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team.
- Manage the general administration and accurate data management for your partners.
- Support annual budgeting and planning in line with the fundraising team’s strategic objectives. Report on any variances of income against budget and undertake contingency planning to minimise risk.
- Where necessary, work with the wider teams at FareShare and with our regional centre partners to deliver greater partner impact.

The Data Analyst: Geo-Spatial position will play a key role in the implementation of a new digital Information Management System (IMS) for the organisation’s monitoring and evaluation data. The role
This role will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network.
For designated top food partners, you will be their day to day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels. You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them.
You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.
You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.
Main areas of responsibility
Partnership Management
- Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources.
- Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and
- agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution.
- Execute joint business plans and report internally and externally on progress.

The role
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support our CEO and COO. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention for details. This person should have experience working with colleagues at a senior level, in an office environment, performing a range of administrative duties. Given the dynamic nature of the executive landscape, we will rely on the executive assistant to be flexible and consistent while maintaining the confidentiality of high-level systems and operations.
Objectives of this role
- Support the CEO/COO primarily to ensure the smooth and efficient running of FareShare operations.
- Manage communication and contacts with external stakeholders including network and industry partners and board of trustees.
Main areas of responsibility
- Scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to the leadership team, board of trustees and other external stakeholders
- Inbox management including responding to and redirecting emails and other correspondence as directed.
- Liaise with leadership team and other key colleagues across the organisation.
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support the CEO/COO with travel and accommodation arrangements.

Job purpose:
There's already a growing rewilding movement across Wales. Increasingly, land managers are looking for ways to incorporate rewilding into their practices, at a time the Welsh Senedd is investigating ways for Wales to meet its net zero and nature recovery commitments. Building on this, you'll help support the development and delivery of a collaborative and locally-led rewilding vision and work to ensure that it is mainstreamed within Welsh Government policy and practice.
Objective of the Role:
In collaboration with key Welsh organisations and stakeholders, develop, research and lead the delivery of evidence-based policy influencing, public affairs and campaigning activities which support the mainstreaming of rewilding into policy and practice in Wales.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the planning and delivery of policy and influencing activities in Wales, primarily through working with and developing new partnerships in Wales
- Keeping up to date with changing policies and legislation in relation to rewilding, identifying opportunities to deliver positive change
- Developing relevant policy positions and communicating these in order to influence the Welsh policy environment
- Gathering intelligence and research, summarising evidence and communicating learning in order to develop these policy positions
- Ensuring that the connection between localism, communities, culture and rewilding is integrated into Rewilding Britain’s work in Wales
- Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships, particularly with civil servants, policy makers, national and local decision-makers, and campaigning/landowning/marine bodies

This is a full-time role at 35 hours per week, but we're open to applications from those looking to work 28 hours or more per week.

Wader populations have declined dramatically across the UK in recent decades. The RSPB and its partners are working to try and reverse these declines in Norfolk and Suffolk. Farmers and land managers play a crucial role in creating and improving habitats for iconic species such as Lapwing and Redshank, with the support of experienced advisers. Could this be you? Are you inspired by the challenge of restoring populations of our precious farmland wildlife across two nationally important landscapes? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
The post holder will work closely with our local RSPB team. They will identify opportunities and work with landowners to improve grassland habitats for species such as Lapwing, Redshank, Avocet and Oystercatcher. This will be delivered by carrying out site visits, liaising with the landowner to ensure the needs of and benefits to the farm business are incorporated, suggesting improvements to water level management, developing grazing schemes, and developing funding applications with landowners. The role will also involve liaising with partners including Natural England, Norfolk and Suffolk Wildlife Trusts, National Trust, the Broads Authority and the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape.
The Wet Grassland Adviser will play a key role in supporting farmers and land managers to improve wet grassland habitats for nature, including through:
- Building partnerships with and between landowners, NGOs and other stakeholders
- Providing advice to farm businesses with new and existing agri-environment scheme agreements
- Designing habitat enhancement schemes which benefit breeding waders (with support from other staff)
- Managing a team of volunteers carrying out breeding wader surveys
- Developing communications and organising events for land managers to build support and share experience
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Demonstrable experience of conservation and/or agricultural land management, or of providing landowner advice
- Demonstrate an understanding of the farmed environment and the economics driving it.
- Excellent knowledge of wet grassland ecology and general natural history, with a focus on breeding waders.
- In depth experience of agri-environment schemes (e.g. Countryside Stewardship, Environmental Land Management Schemes) and their application.
