Roma Outreach Worker (Full-time, 12-month fixed term contract)

The Role
The purpose of the Roma Outreach Worker role is to deliver an effective service to single people who are currently rough sleeping. This post will actively support Roma clients, providing a continued and consistent point of contact whilst assisting them in navigating the various change pathways available to them.

We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven individual with language proficiency in Romanian or Romany to join our Kingston Outreach Team as a Roma Outreach Worker. In this pivotal role, you will engage in street outreach shifts, assess needs, and deliver personalised case management. It is the beginning of assisting clients on their journey from homelessness to independence.
To be considered for the role of Roma Outreach Worker, you will have:
- Able to speak Romani or Romanian fluently or to a high level.
- Full and clean UK driving licence.

Our client
Morgan Hunt is currently working with a large Housing Association to recruit a Tenancy Services Officer / Housing Officer for a temporary period of approximately 3 months with the potential for extension. The role
As a Tenancy Services Officer / Housing Officer you will;
- Identify support needs and deliver person-centred actions, either directly or through partner agencies, along with information, advice and guidance.

- Plan and deliver effective resident engagement events and campaigns, taking time to listen and act on feedback.
- Record the outcomes and impact of engagement, promote to residents and use the results to improve satisfaction levels and make meaningful improvements.

Our client, a leading homelessness charity based in London, are looking for a Complex Needs Worker to work in a complex needs service for women experiencing homelessness in south London. Due to a rise in female rough sleepers, and the need to safeguard the most vulnerable in society, a new female only rough sleeper service has been commissioned to provide support and ongoing casework to vulnerable women engaged at the service with the aim of rehousing clients into more independent accommodation. You will be a creative, organised and motivated individual with a positive track record in working independently to develop corporate and community funder relationships.
Working alongside our Communications Manager, Trusts and Grants Fundraising Manager and Leadership Team you will develop an engagement strategy to help increase awareness of our work and raise vital funds to support our organisational development including the creation of new permanent homes for individuals with long-term experience of homelessness.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing corporate partners
- Developing opportunities to deliver training to corporate staff and organising volunteering activities
- Working with staff and volunteers to develop and implement community fundraising opportunities including sponsorship activities and local events
- Organising events for key stakeholders to increase Rowan Alba profile
- Managing relevant KPIs and appropriate CRM system for all individual and corporate funder communication and outcomes
- Ensuring the organisation adheres to the codes of fundraising practice set by the Fundraising Regulator
Core competencies
- Experience in relationship building and delivering long term funding support from a variety of sources
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently, and with a small core team
- Experience of event organisation and management including working with volunteers
- Administrative skills and experience in use of appropriate CRM solutions, cloud-based platforms such as SharePoint, Zoom, Teams
- Demonstrate respect and compassion to the people we work with and represent Rowan Alba positively and professionally at all times
What you can expect from us
Salary: £36,500 per annum, based on working 35 hours per week, pro rata if working less than 35 hours

The Company is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Housing Manager to join the Housing team on a Fixed Term Contract for 15 months.
The Assistant Housing Manager reports to the Housing Manager to support the delivery of operational efficiency across the Company's six residential sites and services for 206 residents, including leasehold. The role will provide excellent customer service to our residents and work to ensure that each site is safe, secure and compliant with regulatory requirements. The AHM will support the development and implementation of new systems and processes and provide guidance on Housing policies and procedures. This role will work closely with the finance team to manage rental income and invoice payment.
The role holder will deputise in the absence of the Housing Manager.
The successful candidate will excel in communication and organisation, displaying a high level of professionalism while effectively building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders. A strong team player, who enjoys and varied role and possess the ability to use their initiative. Proficiency in IT and database management is essential, alongside exceptional customer service skills.
While experience in property management and knowledge of housing benefits are preferred, they are not essential. An enhanced DBS check is required.
