Rural Refugee Network (RRN) is a small local charity in East Hampshire, Havant and Portsmouth, working alongside refugees and people seeking asylum through the work of six board members, thirty operational volunteers, one part-time permanent employee and a small bank of project staff and contractors. About the roles
Since 2018, the LRU has grown its membership to over 7,000 renters across London. Through our six branches, we support renters to take action to transform the housing system. Organising in communities, the LRU runs training, facilitates peer support, takes collective action and campaigns on local issues, to grow our power.
The purpose of this role is to support the growth and collective leadership of our branch members in and around the Brent branch or the Newham branch. At Peabody, we’re passionate about creating opportunities for young people to thrive. We’re looking for a Floating Support Worker who is kind, proactive, and ready to support young people aged 18–25, including care leavers, on their journey to independence.
This is not a care role - it’s a practical and emotional support position, helping young people build life skills, access housing, and feel empowered to shape their future. The role will involve driving between various properties across Borehamwood. You will require a driving licence and your own car.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll support young people to develop the skills they need for independent living, including navigating housing options, managing benefits, and budgeting. You’ll help create a safe, non-judgmental environment where they feel empowered and respected. By bringing your own passions, whether in music, art, sports, or other interests, you’ll enrich the community and build meaningful connections. You’ll also work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure each young person receives the right support at the right time.

Founded in 2015, our client is an impactful charity that helps care-experienced young people to make a successful transition from the care system into their first homes, build solid foundations and thrive.
Working in partnership with local authorities, housing providers and other charities, they provide tailored, one to one coaching for young people, giving them the skills and confidence to sustain their tenancies, manage their finances and live independently. Over the last year, they have worked with more care-experienced young people than ever before. Last year, young people launched their campaign, A Home of Our Own, to call for system-wide change. As they continue to grow, the charity is now looking to recruit a Senior External Engagement Manager to join their supportive and growing team.
This is an exciting new role for the charity, working across the organisation to make sure external engagement and communications are aligned with the charity's strategy and contribute to their goals. As Senior External Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the charity's external engagement, communications and marketing strategy. You will lead campaigning and influencing work, ensuring that young people’s voices and priorities are at the forefront.
You will be responsible for key communications moments, such as the charity's Annual Report and fundraising campaigns, and represent the charity externally to stakeholders and the medial. You will also oversee the Senior Comms Officer, and day-to-day digital and social media comms.
To excel in this role, you will bring a proven ability to develop and deliver communications or engagement strategies that support wider organisational goals. You will have experience of delivering and overseeing consistent, high-quality communications across multiple channels. You will have experience of building relationships with external stakeholders to change their policy or practice, including local or national government. A knowledge or understanding of the care system, youth homelessness or issues affecting care-experienced young people is desirable.

Goodman Masson are delighted to be supporting B&D Reside with the appointment of a Fire Safety Advisor, a newly created position within their Asset Management team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fire safety professional to join an organisation with a strong commitment to resident safety and play a key role in strengthening fire safety compliance, assurance and risk management across its housing portfolio.
Working closely with the Fire Safety Manager, you will provide specialist technical advice across B&D Reside, supporting the Responsible Person and wider teams to ensure statutory and regulatory obligations are met.
The Opportunity
As Fire Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring B&D Reside's fire safety programme is delivered effectively, on time and to the required standards.
You will work across Compliance, Repairs, Building Safety, Estates, Health & Safety, Asset Management and Housing Management, providing technical expertise and helping to embed a positive, consistent fire safety culture across the organisation.
The role will have a particular focus on complex and higher-risk residential buildings, fire risk management, technical assurance, regulatory compliance, data governance and continuous improvement.
You will also have the opportunity to influence how B&D Reside manages and improves its fire safety information, systems and processes as the organisation continues to develop its approach to the Golden Thread and building safety information.
