The Chief Executive will be responsible for providing leadership, developing, and implementing Living Well Bromley’s strategic and operational plans, leading on partnership and business development, and being an effective advocate for the charity and its beneficiaries.

They will lead a senior management team of three (the Operations Manager, Funding and Communications Manager and Advocacy Manager).They will be responsible for ensuring financial control and supporting and advising on governance best practice across all aspects of the charity.

This post is a first-tier post directly reporting to the Board of Trustees. Ideally the post holder will have a Christian faith and be committed to core Christian values.

Salary: DP4 pay scale £24,700 - £26,870

Hours: 21 Hours - 35 hours per week for various posts.

Contract: Start date is June 1st 2024, and end date is May 31st 2027 with potential for an additional two year extension.

We are looking for a confident, senior Public Affairs and Campaigns professional to lead a programme of relationship building and to develop and deliver parliamentary and campaign strategies to bring about changes in policy, practice, and attitudes across our wide range of target audiences.

The Head of Public Affairs and Campaigns will be crucial in helping us to strategically build relationships with advocates and champions for our work in Westminster and Whitehall, across key industry bodies, sectors and networks and at a local and national level. The St Pancras Community Association (SPCA) is a charity delivering high quality services for Camden residents, especially the lively and diverse community of the St Pancras and Somers Town ward. The Head of Scotland and Northern Ireland is responsible for leading our vision to end the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Scotland currently leads the way in having a rights-based, progressive agenda to ending the need for food banks, but there is much to do to ensure political intentions become a reality. This role directs Trussell Trust’s policy and public affairs work in Scotland and Northern Ireland, leads our Scotland and Northern Ireland department as they support our network of food banks and works strategically with key partners to tackle the underlying reasons why people need to come to food banks.

Westway Trust is seeking a qualified accountant to join as our Head of Finance who will lead on all aspects of the finance function to achieve the Trusts goals.  You will also manage a small team and will offer strategic finance support across the range of activities undertaken by the organisation.

You will have significant experience operating at a senior level within a complex organisation and registered charity, and will possess the right blend and balance of strategic, communication, innovation and people skills.

Key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:

• Lead, manage and improve the Trust’s finance function and provide accurate, timely and relevant financial reports as required by the CEO, Executive Team and the Trust Board.
• Be the Executive Lead of the Finance Audit and Risk Committee, ensuring timely papers to the CEO and to the Committee and Board as required and liaising with the Head of Governance and HR as required.
• Ensure the provision and reporting of financial accounts, forecasting and large-scale project/programme budgets, estate development plans, and the associated reporting.
• Oversight of the legal and financial statutory processes in line with the Charity Commission and Companies House requirements, including the Annual Audit. Allocating tasks for timely responses and keeping all colleagues abreast of progress.
• Monitor, cash flow, reserves, analysis of performance against the organisation’s annual business plan and dashboard as it relates to the finance function.
• Contribute to the overall leadership of the Trust and to the Trust’s future strategic and operational planning. Support Executive Team colleagues as required on the delivery of cross-team initiatives.
• Line management of the Senior Finance Manager, the Debt Recovery Consultant and the Development Partnerships Lead.

Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes:

• Significant and successful experience of operating as a Head of Finance, ideally in a charity setting.
• A track record of working collaboratively with a team to develop successful internal partnerships and achieve joint success against shared objectives.
• Experience of the finance function and all the associated processes, with strong attention to detail.
• Experience of implementing enhanced reporting tools within financial software, including the ability to coach others.
• Practical knowledge of VAT, including accounting of partial exemption relevant to charities.

LGBT Foundation is looking for a dynamic person to focus on external engagement in order to maximise our impact. Through taking an integrated approach, the role-holder will be responsible for driving forward three key areas:

• Engagement: Build a network of strategic relationships and opportunities to engage with
  our communities and our stakeholders, increasing our influence and impact.
• Fundraising: Create opportunities to significantly grow our unrestricted income and
  support funding our ambitious Strategic Plan and growth trajectory.
• Communications: Ensure we develop impactful communications and campaigns which
  convert into positive action and increase our reach and profile.

We operate hybrid working, but there will be an expectation for the postholder to work from

Cranstoun is a social justice and harm reduction charity. We offer a wide range of services across England including housing & homelessness, substance use, domestic abuse, children & young people, and criminal justice.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our supported housing services in Wandsworth.  Focussing on harm reduction, the service supports residents to stabilise their substance use and achieve their individual goals. The service has 30 units of accommodation across 5 sites. The service has recently adopted a high tolerance to drug use approach in one of the houses.

You will have experience of leading and managing teams within housing/supported housing and managing the support provided to people with multiple disadvantages. Embedding recent service changes and leading new developments within the service, you will instil a positive team culture with a focus on risk management.

You will have achieved significant impact in relevant aspects of the role, bring credibility in relevant fields, and professional experience of safeguarding and child protection.
