Job Title: Sensory Support Coordinator

Location: Sensory Hub, George Street Perth

Salary: £27,141 - £30, 365 (FT)

Contract: Full-time 34.5 hours for 12 month, reducing to 28 hours

About Us:

You will be working for an exciting and growing charity, recently opening their new Sensory Hub in the heart of Perth. They provide specialist services for people with sight loss, hearing loss, or who are deaf, living within the Perth and Kinross local authority area. Their specialist rehabilitation service is commissioned by Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership, allowing them to offer essential support to individuals facing sensory challenges.

The Role:

In this role, you will be at the forefront of supporting individuals with sensory loss, providing direct assistance, coordinating services, and advocating for their needs. You will work closely with clients, their families, and other service providers to ensure holistic support and access to vital resources.

About You:

  • Experience of working with people with disabilities, sensory loss, older people, or in community support roles.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A positive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • An empathetic approach, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with clients of all backgrounds.
  • Understanding of holistic care and how to deliver support in a way that meets the broad needs of the people we support.

Why Join The Team?

  • Be part of an exciting time as the charity grows and develop their newly opened Sensory Hub in Perth.
  • Make a real difference in the lives of people with sensory loss.
  • Join a supportive and fun team that values hard work and collaboration.

How to Apply:

If you’re passionate about making a positive impact, we’d love to hear from you. Please read the candidate pack and complete the application form, closing date Friday 8th November, interviews to be held on Tuesday 19th November.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic charity making a real difference in people’s lives! #INDSCP
