Margaret Pyke Trust has been a leader in contraception and sexual health for over 50 years. We are a unique global non-governmental organisation embedded in the human health, biodiversity and climate sectors. We train healthcare professionals around the world in sexual and reproductive health. In the UK, we train clinicians in contraceptive and sexual health. Internationally, we work in partnership with other health and environmental conservation organisations, to develop projects which simultaneously improve sexual and reproductive health services, provide livelihoods and support the conservation of biodiversity. We use our unique status and expertise to change biodiversity and climate policy to support reproductive choice.

About the role

The Programme Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring the smooth running of the Trust's programme partnerships, training delivery, and organisational systems. Reporting to the Head of Programmes and working closely with other senior staff, the post holder will provide coordination, research, communications and administrative support across programmes, training and operations.

We are looking for a motivated team player with a 'can do' positive attitude to join our small team. This role provides an opportunity to gain significant experience across a breadth of responsibilities and thematic areas in international development, including sexual and reproductive health, climate change and the environment.

About the Role:

Here at Construction Youth Trust, we're on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals who are excited to learn and ready to dive into a supported internship. This is a fantastic chance to get a hands-on feel for what it's like to work in the charity sector. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider development of the Trust e.g. participation in strategic working groups.

About You

Service Description:

West London Mind deliver services across 5 West London Boroughs, and our children and young people’s team deliver services in communities and in schools. Focusing on increasing access and having inclusive services, our diversity of provision, staff and approaches means we can offer an assistant psychologist a range of experience, and fun.

This role sits within our schools-based offer in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham  which supports young people via our Mental Health Support Teams in both primary and secondary schools, as well as working with parents and school staff.

We also offer Be Kind to Your Mind (BK2YM) which provides a psychoeducation programme (Learn Well) which offers a multi-tiered level of support for children with additional SEND needs.

Job Description. You will be:

1. Dealing with our referrals from schools:

· Liasing with referrers, families and young people to ensure that clients and other organisations are kept up to date with what stage their referral is at (e.g. on a waitlist).

· Overseeing inboxes to ensure quick and appropriate responses.

2. Delivering interventions:

· Delivery of Be Kind to Your Mind SEND/Inclusion interventions across schools, colleges and alternative education, and co-delivering our out of school offer.

· Ad-hoc creation of bespoke content to complement existing materials.

3. Supporting promotion of Children and Young People’s Services:

· Coordination of outreach on universal days/mental health specific days in line with West London Mind’s CYP Youth Services Calendar (across schools in Hammersmith and Fulham and within the local community).

· Co-facilitation of psychoeducational sessions.

· Working closely with the Whole Schools Approach Lead and Co-Production Coordinator to ensure that our offer is relevant and Young Person Centred.

Person Specification

We need you to have:

· An undergraduate Psychology degree (or equivalent) that confers British Psychological Society’s Graduate Basis for Chartered membership (GBC).

We’re looking for someone with:

· Knowledge and understanding of the key socioeconomic and systemic factors that contribute to poor mental health of children, young people and parents/carers from Black, Asian and other Minority groups.

· Understanding the importance of safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality.

· Experience of conducting literature reviews, data collection and data analysis.

· Knowledge of mental health and/or social care services

· Experience of working with, and adapting delivery to, children and young people as well as young adults with SEND/Inclusion needs.

You will have:

The Social Media Executive sits in the Media & Communications’ team and plays a key role in elevating Spear’s brand and mission by producing engaging, story-driven digital content, with a strong focus on video, for social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. About the team
Shelter Greater Manchester is made up of several different teams and services including the Housing Rights Team, Legal Services, Early Help Adult Navigators, GROW Campus, Fundraising, Lived Experience, Volunteering and My Health Matters. 

The role will primarily be based within the My Health Matter Project.

My Health Matters is a peer-led inclusion health project that works towards an inclusive health system where everyone has access to the health care they need. The project delivers a Homeless Health Peer Advocacy service which supports people experiencing homelessness to address physical and mental health needs. We work to improve people’s confidence in using health services and increase their ability to access healthcare independently. The project brings together frontline health and social care services with those with lived experience supporting the co-production of solutions to health inequalities in Manchester.

Young Carers Male Sessional Worker

We are seeking a male flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Sessional Worker to support the delivery of services for Young Carers aged 5-16. Due to an increase in trips and off-site activities, and to ensure we provide appropriate support for all young people- particularly our male Young Carers - we are particularly seeking a male sessional worker to join the team. The role involves two key parts. The first is helping to deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is supporting with outreach to local schools, colleges, community settings and professionals to identify and engage Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups- 5-11 and 12–16 - delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. You will deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls and aim to identify and engage Young Carers in the community. You will also help ensure young Carers feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. We are particularly looking for a male sessional worker who is available for our upcoming residential trip to the Young Carers Festival on the 26th – 28th June and a day trip to Southend-On-Sea on the 6th June.  This is a sessional role, therefore hours are not guaranteed but will be offered based on project need.

Our Business Administrator will join the business team to underpin the operational running of our organisation and provide general administrative support. Provide support to the Funding and Governance Manager in preparation for all of Clinks committees and sub-committees including diary support.

HR  

To support the Finance and Business Support Lead with recruitment administration, support the creation of job descriptions, job advertisements, managing applications and structuring interviews. 

Support the creation of the induction process and welcoming new staff. 

Responsibility for production of our staff organisation chart and staff/trustee mapping. Supporting staff meeting days and venue hire, catering and agenda preparation. 

General 

Responsibility for oversight of mailbox administration.

The role is a hybrid working role based at our London office close to Old Street tube station with travel throughout London as required.

About the role:

As an IDVA you will:-

• Ensure that male survivors' safety and housing needs are met by supporting survivors to access safe accommodation
• Provide a pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic abuse through on-going risk assessment, individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse
• Promote the service and raising awareness of issues arising, minimising barriers and improving access to support

You will need:

• Experience of providing support those affected by domestic abuse
• An understanding of the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
• Knowledge of safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
• A good understanding of Housing Law to be able to provide up to date advice and information on housing related needs
• Strong communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals.
• An understanding of commitment to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice.
• Strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.

About the role:

You will be part of our administrative team providing support across a range of functions within the HS and VTU; managing Excel spreadsheets and internal databases; inputting and raising invoices; managing calls to and from a range of people including those bereaved by homicide and generally supporting the Homicide Service and VTU to run smoothly. You will be able to demonstrate the excellent organisational skills essential to managing a demanding and diverse workload.

We support staff and volunteers to keep them safe within their role and you will be given all the training you need to be able to manage your role effectively. This role can at times be emotionally challenging and you may be exposed to demanding situations that requires resilience. As with all staff within the HS, you will be expected to engage with clinical supervision and supervision with you line manager.

What you'll do:

Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers who are currently in refuge to make the transition to permanent accommodation smoother.
Supporting community customers who have accessed the Sanctuary Scheme to remain in their properties and manage the risks associated with that.
Supporting key customers to set personalised goals in the form of a move on Support Plan
Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking.'
Ensuring customers have full access to any move on welfare support by completing move on paperwork prior to customers move on date.
Liaising and building partnerships with local charities to support customers with move on items
Accompany customers to property viewings.
Helping to set up utilities for move on customers
Working proactively with the refuge and IDVA teams and referring any clients/customers to the IDVAs where required.
Empowering customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits to which they are entitled
Proactive development of links with local statutory and voluntary organizations to provide a range of engagement opportunities for customers in the community
Develop links with private sector landlords, estate agents and other housing providers in order to source additional units and move on accommodation
Deliver domestic abuse training and awareness raising to housing teams and local landlords forums
Ensuring Look Ahead Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all time and to uphold all health and safety responsibilities within relevant policies and local protocols
Engage positively in reflective practice sessions with colleagues.
