We are currently seeking a fixed term Grants Impact and Evaluation specialist to provide technical monitoring, evaluation, and learning knowledge to the Grants and Programmes Team and Battersea grantees. In this role, you will support the Impact and Evaluation Lead in the design and delivery of Battersea’s approach to impact and evaluation.

This role will be based within Insight and Impact but work closely with Battersea’s Global Programmes Team. The role will be the key point of knowledge and technical support for Grants Managers in ensuring that all potential and awarded grants have an agreed monitoring and evaluation approach, and that portfolio-wide learning can be gathered and applied by Battersea and grantees.

About IKWRO

IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.

We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English. Purpose of Job

The Fundraising Officer will work as part of the Fundraising and Marketing team and will be responsible for:

• Nurturing relationships with existing and prospective donors

• Sustaining and developing our group of individual and community-based supporters.

• Growing income, including regular giving, donations, appeals, legacy giving, community groups and other fundraising activities.

We are looking for a strong communicator with some experience of fundraising who is keen to develop their career in this area.

This post can be undertaken on a hybrid working basis with some days home-working and some days working in IKWRO’s offices.

Age UK is offering an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager to develop and deliver funded programmes. This 12 month fixed term contract role will work across a variety of projects aimed at improving older people's wellbeing and will partner with teams from across the organisation to develop new programmes responding to the changing needs of older people.

Working closely with Age UK's Network of 130+ local and independent Network Partners, this role will work across the life cycle of projects, ranging from the development of new concepts through to the implementation and delivery of funded projects. We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Behaviourist (Clinical Behaviour Services) to work on providing an internal referral service for behavioural medicine, recommending treatment protocols, monitoring patient progress, and assisting with more complex cases as required.

What does this role involve?

As Veterinary Behaviourist you’ll:

• Work with the Community Clinical Animal Behaviour and post-adoption support teams in devising the optimal behaviour rehabilitation strategy for dogs in their care while liaising with external veterinary practices as required to support the work of clinical teams.
• Support and advise staff across Dogs Trust on matters relating to psychoactive medication and links between disease, physiology and behavioural signs, under the direction of the Head of Clinical Behaviour Services.
• Provide behaviour consultations to owned dogs with behaviour problems especially those with a medical component that requires specialist input.
• Assist with staff training through workshops, clinical case reviews, mentorship and conferences.

About you:

With a good knowledge of dog behaviour, training and welfare you will have a veterinary qualification with postgraduate experience as a veterinary surgeon. With basic knowledge of statistical methods and ability to evaluate published research you will have enthusiasm for professional development, research and developing specialist skills in veterinary behavioural medicine.

About you

- Experience of ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory or SSIS 
- Experience in building automated data integrations 
- Experience of working with a variety of data sources (e.g. SQL Server, Salesforce, APIs, JSON, csv, Excel) and data destinations (e.g. SQL Server, Salesforce, emails, files). 
- Extensive experience of data mapping and data transformation 
- Experience of defining and implementing development standards and change management procedures 
- Advanced SQL skills (with SQL programming experience such as T-SQL or PL/SQL highly desirable) 
- Detailed working knowledge of Data Protection regulations
- Experience of cloud-based data technologies (e.g. Azure)

The Pandemic Sciences Institute (PSI) is recruiting a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Manager to provide expert support to two major programmes and also more broadly across PSI. This is an exciting new role which will concentrate on developing and embedding evaluation and learning practice within PSI’s activities, with significant opportunity to add value. It is anticipated that you will divide your time between three broad areas of work.

Africa Pandemic Sciences Collaborative (working title)

You will support the development and implementation of a MEL workplan for this initiative, based around the Theory of Change (ToC) and working closely with collaborators at Science for Africa Foundation in Nairobi.

The International Severe Acute Respiratory and emerging Infection Consortium (ISARIC)

You will lead on the design, implementation, delivery and continuous improvement of a MEL framework based on the ISARIC ToC model, using research and insight to inform developments. This will include defining and implementing cross-team data collection processes and tools, creating and championing a strategy for dissemination of and access to ISARIC outputs, and preparing reports.

PSI-wide activity

You will deliver guidance to other groups within PSI. This will include supporting researchers to articulate impact in grant applications and publications, and providing MEL expertise to ongoing projects. You may also be required to work with colleagues across the wider Department of Medicine to prepare material for the Research Excellence Framework 2028.

It is essential that you hold a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, alongside significant experience of planning and conducting monitoring and evaluation using different methodologies, gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data to demonstrate reach and significance of research impact. You will have excellent diplomacy, interpersonal and listening skills with proven ability to relate well to staff at all levels.  Familiarity with the UK Research Excellence Framework and experience in monitoring and evaluation of scientific, global health or policy research would be desirable.
