About The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to play a key role in driving visitor growth at Washington Wetland Centre, an urban oasis supporting endangered wildlife and a space providing fun and wellbeing for all.

Role Purpose:

The Circle is an alternative to A&E for young people and children who are finding it hard to cope with their mental health, when medical intervention might not be necessary. We provide one-off in the moment support, and we are open every day of the year.

Mental health advisors are part of the core team, supporting children and young people aged 5-18 and their families every day. We do not have waiting lists. You are expected to work within HFEH Mind’s policies and procedures and adhere to our code of conduct/values.

This role may suit those that have worked with vulnerable children in the past, including, but not limited to, support workers, CAMHS workers and mental health workers. We work within a diverse borough and look to reflect this in our team.

Job Summary:

The mental health advisor role is a key part of the delivery of the Circle, working to support young people and their families who are finding it hard to cope. They will conduct (up to) hour long, one-off sessions with children and young people aged 5-18, providing: safety planning, coping mechanisms, psychoeducation, and signposting, and supporting in de-escalation. This will be delivered with a non-judgemental and empathetic approach.

As a mental health advisor, you will need to be ready to respond in the moment to presenting (often unknown) concerns. You will dynamically risk assess situations and be confident in raising concerns when necessary.

About PRS Members’ Fund: we are dedicated to supporting PRS songwriter and composer members through life’s challenges by offering hardship funding and wellbeing support when it’s needed most. The RunFree Accelerator (RFA), launched in October 2025, is Global Clubfoot Initiative’s flagship programme to accelerate progress towards the shared vision in our RunFree2030 strategy: that all children with clubfoot will get the treatment they need to walk, play and run free. In this role, you will focus on:

· Member Engagement (25%)

o Facilitate member engagement, including onboarding, communication, meeting facilitation, and follow-up.

o Foster relationships, encourage engagement from, and coordinate support for our 60+ member NGO’s globally

o Creating and using systems to measure and report on key member engagement metrics

· RunFree Accelerator Coordination and Support (75%), supporting work on all three of our RFA Areas: Integration, Capacity Building and Knowledge and Evidence. This will involve a variety of tasks day to day, including:

o Support advocacy initiatives by conducting research into key issues and interests and relationship building with organisations and networks  in relevant sectors to advance RunFree2030.

Person specification:

Essential:

• Demonstrated experience of working in a similar context to that of our members in the majority world in Latin America, Africa or Asia.
• Able to understand and anticipate our members’ unique contexts, strengths and challenges
• 3-5 years’ experience of working in global health or development in a programme delivery role
• Strong project management skills with proven experience coordinating activities across a team, keeping team members accountable to timeline and deliverables
• Able to effectively prioritise and deliver on a varied and fast paced workload
• Proven communication skills in different formats and effectively able to communicate with people from a wide variety of background, contexts and cultures
• Proven ability to relate to, engage with, motivate and inspire others to action

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the Borde Hill team to work on the Reinventing Borde Hill project. This role will be responsible for managing the Community Growing Garden at Sugworth Farm, part of our new 2-acre biodynamic market garden which produces seasonal fruit and vegetables to supply the new restaurant, café and farm shop at Borde Hill.

Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the project includes an Activity Plan including a range of learning, community and volunteering activities, and this new role will have responsibility for overseeing community engagement both at the Community Growing Garden, and across the Parkland and main Garden.

Your role will focus on two key areas: overseeing the seasonal growing at the Community Growing Garden with volunteers and community partners, and developing and delivering an annual site-wide community engagement programme.

You will work closely with the NLHF Project Team, as well as the Green team. You will lead on liaising with local schools, community groups and charities, encouraging and facilitating participation in the Community Growing and wider site community programmes. Your passion for learning, community engagement, horticulture and nature will be key in ensuring this programme succeeds in delivering the ambitions set out in the Activity Plan.

Although funded via the Lottery project, this role is permanent as we are committed to continuing it after the funded project; we intend to continue the wide range of the activities that your role will nurture and develop.

Borde Hill Garden is seeking to appoint a Heritage Project Manager to support the Delivery Phase of its National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) funded ‘Reinventing Borde Hill’ project. The successful candidate will lead this exciting project, reporting to the Project Board and working with the Project Director to ensure that this phase of the project is fully delivered to time and on budget. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working on heritage projects, and will act as the key point of contact for the NLHF ensuring adherence to all NLHF frameworks and requirements, and ensuring that all documentation is managed accordingly. The role will involve working closely with the internal project team, wider garden staff and volunteers (including leading on the recruitment of volunteers), as well as the externally appointed Design Team, Cost Consultant, Evaluation Consultants, and other consultants. The Heritage Project Manager will coordinate the internal project team.

The successful candidate will maintain a close overview of the activity plan, the risk register, and the budget, as well acting as a point of contact, organising, attending and participating in project and stakeholder meetings; and compiling the information required for the project until the planned ‘soft opening’ in Spring 2028.

Tasks and responsibilities

· Become fully acquainted with all previous project documentation relating to the NLHF bid and acquire a good knowledge of the detailed objectives of the project

· Act as a key point of contact for NLHF ensuring that all necessary NLHF financial requirements and conditions are processed and/or met, including compiling grant drawdowns, reporting and assisting with the development of the project within the agreed programme

· Support the procurement of the construction contractors, and lead on procurement of other contractors, including preparation of briefs, enquiries, advertisements, evaluation and associated paperwork ensuring that their work is procured on time and within budget

· Oversee the work of the Design Team and other consultants ensuring that their deliverables are on time and coordinated with the other aspects of the project

· Liaise with an external construction project manager to ensure that a strong alignment is maintained between the capital build and the other elements of the project (e.g. activity plan, fundraising, evaluation etc.)

· Coordinate monthly progress reports from key workstream leads (internal and external), and compile these into a monthly Project Status Report

· Oversee the project budget, maintain the tracker and cashflow spreadsheet, and work with the Finance team to process invoices for payment

· Arrange project meetings, including co-ordinating diaries, sending meeting invites, monitor responses, and produce and circulate agendas and papers.

· Attend and where appropriate chair meetings, take and distribute minutes, and monitor actions as appropriate
