Role Purpose

This maternity cover role is for a strategic and hands-on Digital Communications & Marketing Lead to take ownership of our digital presence, storytelling and supporter communications, with a strong focus on driving  growth in engagement and income through digital channels.

You will lead the planning and delivery of digital communications and marketing activity, ensuring consistent, compelling messaging across all platforms. You will design and deliver integrated digital campaigns that grow awareness, engagement, participation and fundraising income.

This is a hands on role and you will be the organisation’s main digital specialist during this period, working closely with the CEO and wider team.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Communications & Marketing Strategy

• Lead the development and delivery of digital communications and marketing activity that supports organisational goals, fundraising targets and brand growth.

• Plan and deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns across website, email and social media.

• Ensure a consistent, engaging brand voice across all digital touchpoints.

Content, Storytelling & Channel Management

• Own and manage all digital channels, including social media, website and email marketing.

• Create, schedule and manage engaging written, visual and video content to support campaigns, events and fundraising.

• Promote events and fundraising activity online to maximise reach and participation.

• Design and curate digital and print assets including campaign graphics, reels, posters, flyers and web imagery.

• Ensure all digital content is accurate, engaging and aligned with brand guidelines.

Digital Fundraising Campaigns & Income Generation

• Design, manage and optimise digital fundraising campaigns to grow income from individual supporters, communities and events.

• Use digital communications to drive donations, regular giving, event sign-ups and fundraising participation.

• Build and optimise supporter acquisition, retention and conversion journeys using insight and data.

CRM, Supporter Journeys & Digital Performance

• Lead on CRM management (Beacon), ensuring accurate data, segmentation and effective supporter journeys.

• Use analytics tools such as Google Analytics and CRM dashboards to monitor performance and inform optimisation.

• Implement and manage marketing automation to enhance supporter experience and conversion.

Collaboration, Impact & Internal Communications

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to align digital communications with wider organisational priorities.

• Collaborate with the Programme Manager to gather impact data, stories and lived-experience content.

• Provide guidance and informal support to colleagues on digital best practice and supporter journeys.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital communications, digital marketing or digital fundraising in the charity sector. Demonstrable evidence of leadership and impactful delivery.

• Confident using WordPress, social media platforms, Canva, Mailchimp, fundraising platforms and Beacon CRM.

• Proven experience delivering successful digital campaigns that drive engagement and income.

• Strong content creation skills across written, visual and video formats.

• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.

• Comfortable working independently within a small team.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to improve performance.

• Ability to travel to Huddersfield for in-person team days (2 per month).

Lead facilitation of intergenerational sessions

Taking responsibility for the high-quality delivery of the session, leading activities from the front, delegating tasks to and managing a supporting volunteer if appropriate. The lead facilitator will endeavor to involve everyone present in the session, be responsible for ensuring that InCommon’s safeguarding procedures are followed and that any incidents are handled appropriately. 

Building and maintaining strong relationships with people of all ages 

Using your excellent communication skills you’ll build strong relationships with everyone taking part in an InCommon programme, from children and older people to primary school teachers and staff working at retirement homes. This role may involve communication before and after the session with parties taking part; where this is the case it will be clearly communicated by the Senior Programme Manager. 

A lead facilitator should be someone who can

• Engage a roomful of people over fun, creative and conversation-based activities

• Is reliable, trustworthy and can commit to monthly term-time sessions

• Is sensitive to the needs of young people and older adults, understanding the variety of needs they may have

MONITORING AND EVALUATION  CONSULTANT

Client: Democratic Progress Institute (DPI)

Project Title: Supporting Peace Through Dialogue by Engaging the Leading Actors and Civil Society in Türkiye

Duration: 18 months

Background

The Democratic Progress Institute (DPI) is an independent non-governmental organisation established in consultation with international experts in conflict resolution and democratic advancement in Türkiye and the region. DPI seeks to promote peace and democracy building through strengthened public dialogue and political engagement.

Through its Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI), the European Union is funding an 18-month programme on supporting inclusive dialogue and peacebuilding in Türkiye.

Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to design, set up, and operationalise a functional M&E framework that will enable systematic data collection, analysis, reporting, and learning throughout the project lifecycle.

DPI is looking for an experienced M&E consultant to conduct baseline and final evaluations of the project, as well as design all the monitoring and evaluation tools to meet our KPIs for the EU project.

The consultant will:

· Conduct baseline and endline evaluations of the project..

· Establish  monitoring and evaluation tools, and reporting systems.

· Ensure alignment with donor requirements and international M&E standards.

Key requirements

- Degree (or qualification) in M&E, Statistics, Development Studies, or comparable professional experience.

- At least 5 years’ experience designing M&E systems for NGO projects.

- Additional 2+ years’ experience working as an independent consultant.

- Knowledge and experience of M&E for EU projects.

- Strong experience with logframes, results-based management, and donor compliance.

- Proven skills in data collection tools and analysis software.

ABOUT US

Women at the Well is a support service for women based in the King’s Cross area of central London. We provide practical support and advocacy to women facing a wide range of disadvantages, and we have a specialism in working with women whose lives have been affected by prostitution and/or sexual exploitation. We are trauma informed, holistic and woman-centred. We deliver our mission through three interconnected services:

1. A women only drop-in service

2. An advocacy service

3. An outreach service

Women at the Well has supported thousands of women over more than twenty years work in London. We see the complex ways in which women’s inequality, racism, disability and poor health, educational disadvantage, trauma in childhood, migration and the hostile immigration environment can all lead to significant social and economic disadvantages and harm. In our work we meet women who have experienced repeated and extensive abuse, and who are often homeless, living with addictions and/or mental health issues, and in poverty. We see how these women are at high risk of a range of sexually exploitative behaviours including prostitution. As well as providing tailored support, we aim to speak up for the rights of women to live lives free from abuse.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Head of Fundraising & Partnerships will lead the development and delivery of Women at The Well’s fundraising strategy, ensuring we build the sustainable and diverse income base needed to continue supporting women facing extraordinary disadvantage, exploitation and harm. As a senior, hands-on fundraiser, the postholder will take responsibility for income generation across trusts and foundations, individual philanthropy, corporate partnerships and community fundraising, while building the systems, relationships and communications that underpin long-term growth.

Working closely with the CEO—an experienced trusts fundraiser—the postholder will identify opportunities, cultivate relationships, steward supporters, craft compelling cases for support, and drive forward multi-stream fundraising with clarity and purpose. They will coordinate the CEO’s involvement in major fundraising opportunities and act as a strategic partner, ensuring the organisation’s leadership has what they need to secure transformational funding.

This role sits at the heart of a small, values-driven team committed to trauma-informed, women-centred work. The postholder must bring emotional resilience, sound judgement and a deep respect for the dignity and lived experiences of the women who use our service. Regular presence in our King’s Cross centre is important for relationship-building and grounding fundraising work in the mission, though we offer flexibility in working patterns for the right candidate.

Grosvenor Chapel is a Chapel of Ease in the Ecclesiastical Parish of St George’s Hanover Square.

Located on South Audley Street in the heart of what is fondly referred to as the ‘Village of Mayfair’, the Chapel has been serving the community of Mayfair and beyond for almost three hundred years.

Over the last three years the Chapel has been going through a period of transition, renewal and growth. We currently have a modest annual income, which comes from regular giving, occasional donations, and the hiring out of our Chapel rooms and car bays, and are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to help with the day-to-day management of the Chapel’s finances.

Whilst some tasks are covered by existing staff, the Finance Officer will have responsibility for overseeing the Chapel’s accounting processes, monitoring income and expenditure, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, overseeing service cash collections and banking, completing the monthly reconciliations and preparation of financial reports, helping with any VAT and quarterly gift aid returns. The role will also be required to support the annual budgeting process, year-end audit and preparation of statutory accounts.

Most of the work will be expected to be completed remotely, with attendance in person on site at least once a month for meetings and other activities.

Managing the delivery of up to 10 intergenerational projects in Greater London, and supporting the Senior Programme Manager and Partnerships Lead with the design of our intergenerational projects through training, resources and events.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading intergenerational Community and Social Action projects based in London

You will be leading all elements of the design, delivery and evaluation of up to 10 intergenerational projects, for our in person workshops. You’ll bring energy and confidence into the room whilst sensitively considering and accommodating the different needs of the participants, both younger (age groups spanning 7-17 years) and older.

Taking ownership of programme design and development

Liaising with the Senior Programme Manager, you will own specific elements of our programme development, working with participants to generate innovative ideas that enhance social inclusion. You will independently analyse feedback and proactively propose adaptations to ensure our programmes remain fresh, accessible and impactful for all age groups. You will make confident recommendations on programme improvements that advance InCommon’s charitable objects.

Designing activities to be used by different projects across the UK 

You’ll be responsible for designing and sharing high quality activities and resources that can be used by other intergenerational projects in different parts of the country. You’ll involve younger and older people through co-design approaches, and draw these ideas together into beautiful, accessible resources to share.

Developing the InCommon events programme

Collaborating with the communications team, you’ll use your excellent facilitation and presentation skills to design and manage our events programme, specifically our annual Age Friendly Awards and other fundraising and awareness raising events.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and programme participants.  

You’ll lead on all of our communications, and drive engagement with key project stakeholders and participants, curating a wide variety of audiences with warmth, clarity and enthusiasm. Your efficient, thoughtful, professional approach will build trust and lead to close working relationships.

Contributing to the long term development of the our programmes 

You will work closely with our Strategic Management Team and the Senior Programme Manager to grow our work, proactively looking for development opportunities and ways to increase our impact and meet our charitable objectives.

ISEAL is looking for a Finance Manager to manage the day-to-day finance function in a sustainability focused international not-for-profit organisation.

The Finance Manager, Financial Accounting is a hands-on role, leading a mostly remote team of 3 part-time staff, who collectively process all ISEAL’s transactions. They report to and work closely with the Finance & Operations Director, playing an important role to ensure that ISEAL’s finance system operates effectively.

The successful candidate will bring the technical know-how of a qualified accountant, the ability to support colleagues, an eye for detail and be happy managing a varied workload, both for themselves and the team.

ISEAL has recently implemented Sage Intacct accounting software and an initial priority for the role will be to support the team to improve their facility with and exploitation of the new system as well as supporting the roll-out of new functionality across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

Team management

• Oversee a team of 3 (2 direct reports) who process ISEAL’s day to day transactions, incl. purchase ledger, sales ledger and staff expenses /credit cards and payroll accounting
• Coordinate work planning, payment runs and monthly/quarterly accounting processes
• Work with the Finance Director to hold effective monthly Face to face team meetings.
• At times, provide back up and support to the different roles in the team
• Line manage, support and provide development and growth opportunities to direct reports

Financial accounting

• Responsible for and oversee the capture of all day-to-day transactions in ISEAL’s accounting records
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts on monthly/quarterly basis
• Oversee the payroll accounting, including 4 overseas payrolls
• Review VAT treatment of transactions and prepare VAT returns for review and submit it to HMRC
• Oversee timesheet processes and the calculation/allocation of staff costs into accounting system
• Consolidate ISEAL’s accounts and forecasts into management accounting-packs
• Support on preparation of the statutory accounts

Wider responsibilities

• Support the evolution of financial accounting procedures that are robust, effective and efficient, incl. acting as an administrator on Sage Intacct accounting software
• Engagement with the wider organisation on questions of accounting processes
• Experience, knowledge and attributes
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or equivalent level experience
• Solid professional work experience in overseeing a finance function, ideally in an international setting using multiple currencies
• Competent in the use and exploitation of accounting systems
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to analyse, manipulate and present data to non-finance colleagues
• High level of accuracy in own work and ability to check work done by others
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with ability to establish priorities for self and others
• Ability to respond flexibly to demands of the role and work collaboratively in a small finance team
• Well-honed interpersonal skills, displaying professionalism, tact and awareness of others, including sensitivity to cultural differences and perceptions
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, including remotely, where most interaction will be virtual
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Ability to manage and motivate others  

Additionally desirable

• Experience with grant/donor reporting and international-charity-VAT (Reverse charge/place of supply and business/non-business input tax recovery)
• Interest in and motivated by issues of sustainable consumption and/or environmental issues
