CHEM Trust is looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations and Governance Officer to support the smooth and effective running of the organisation. Role Purpose

The Charity Administrator is responsible for governance support, HR operations, organisational systems, compliance, and internal processes. The role ensures the charity’s operational infrastructure runs smoothly and supports the staff and volunteer team effectively.

Our service provides primary care mental health support for children and young people aged 2–25 who are experiencing mild to moderate difficulties. These include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), counselling, low‑intensity psychological interventions, group programmes, creative therapies, and social prescribing.

As a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) you will deliver evidence based psychosocial interventions within the scope of the service’s threshold to a caseload of children and young people. You will provide early intervention to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This includes delivering individual sessions (online and face to face) and co-facilitating groups, using low intensity interventions using CBT tools and techniques.

Coram is the UK’s oldest children’s charity founded by Thomas Coram in London helping vulnerable children and young people since 1739. One of the twelve members of the Coram group, Coram Children’s Legal Centre (CCLC) is the UK’s specialist centre for children’s rights in education, immigration, community care and family law, and provides significant international legal systems consultancy. The centre is located on the Coram Campus in central London with a base in Colchester. We champion access to justice through information and advice, legal practice and representation, policy and strategic litigation. Our Legal Practice Unit provides advice and representation primarily under legal aid contract. Our Policy and Practice Change team promotes practice change through training and capacity building to professionals and secures systems change through research, policy and advocacy.

About the role

This role will provide leadership and management for CCLC particularly focused on the Legal Practice Unit’s legal aid billing operations. Through systematic and efficient management, the post-holder will play a pivotal role in CCLC’s financial and operational sustainability. The role will be accountable for maximising the unit’s legal aid billing in controlled work, certificated work and inter partes costs and will hold responsibility for the unit’s billing systems. It will also be responsible for private fees billing. The post-holder will oversee the smooth running of legal aid billing including through line management of the billing team. The post-holder will work very closely with legal, operations and administrative staff. The role will act as a key point of contact for a range of internal and external stakeholders including Coram’s central finance team who will support the role with grant fund management and overall accounting functions for CCLC. The post-holder will support the Managing Director of Legal Practice and Children’s Rights and department heads in the successful maintenance of our relationship with the Legal Aid Agency. Where appropriate they will be deputising for the Managing Director on legal aid and financial matters.

The role would suit a highly organised and efficient legal, or a finance or billing professional with solid experience of legal practice and a deep understanding of the challenges of legal aid. Whilst candidates with direct experience of legal billing (and more specifically civil legal aid billing) are welcomed, we recognise that this is a highly specialised and niche field. As such, this role could suit a highly experienced solicitor who appreciates the important role developing sustainable businesses plays in ensuring access to justice and who therefore wishes to move into practice and financial management. They will need an aptitude for processing large amounts of data, developing and managing spreadsheets and improving organisational systems. However, they will be well supported through training, an enthusiastic and competent junior billing team, the central finance team and an outsourced legal cashiering company, as well as a friendly and collaborative management team including the Managing Director and the Heads of Education Law, Community Care Law and Immigration and Asylum Law.

This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the billing team. The Woodland Trust is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to manage the development, delivery and evaluation of the marketing and communication campaigns.

The communications planning team manages The Woodland Trust’s external communications, adjusting focus each year to align with organisational priorities. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

·To offer a front-line service, primarily to kinship families based in the East Lothian Community, by supporting delivery and administration for activities and events, including regular support groups delivery, youth and family events. Support of events in other areas in Scotland based on resources and availability.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·Working alongside service leads within the kinship teams, and with the wider community team members to plan and deliver specific events and activities for East Lothian Council Kinship community members, and kinship families in wider areas where resources and availability allows.

·Provide administrative coordination for community groups, including collating event materials, gathering feedback and evaluations for reporting purposes, supporting delivery of events, maintaining records using existing required systems, and responding to enquiries via our Information and Support line and relevant email inboxes.

·To facilitate referral meetings with new kinship carers accessing the East Lothian Kinship Support Service, including initial assessment of need to identify suitable support and signposting requirements

·To hold responsibility for administrative requirements relating to referrals and cases within the East Lothian Kinship Support Service, including setting up new cases and recording service delivery interactions, using existing Adoption UK systems and processes

·To work with colleagues in the Foundations for Families kinship support service to support delivery where time and resources allow, and coordinate activities between services where appropriate.

How are staff supported to work remotely?

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in Stockport.

Position: S11359 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Homebased, Stockport. However frequent travel will be required as part of this role (Will include team meetings, other work-related meetings and home visits) 

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

Salary: Circa £17,000 per annum (FTE circa £28,340.58 per annum)

The Role

We’re looking for a curious, compassionate and committed individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service in the Stockport area. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with stroke survivors and their families, supporting them in rebuilding their lives after stroke.

The service operates in fast-paced, person-centred environment, where Coordinators identify and respond to the evolving needs of stroke survivors and their carers. This includes delivering structured reviews at six months post-stroke, supporting stroke survivors in their ongoing recovery and helping them achieve their personal goals.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Work as part of a team to plan and deliver engaging peer support and communication groups
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings with the local stroke therapy team, contributing to joined-up care
• Recruit, train and manage volunteers to enhance service delivery (experience in volunteer management is an advantage)
• Support stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community, offering personalised advice and guidance
• Provide resources for stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of further strokes
• Deliver Stroke Reviews at six months post-stroke

• Excellent IT skills and an ability to maintain accurate records
