The Impact and Insight Officer exist to provide high quality data analysis, reporting and insight support across Battersea’s Impact & Evaluation (I&E) and Research & Insight (R&I) teams. It ensures colleagues have access to clear, accurate and timely data that supports monitoring, decision making and understanding the outcomes and impact of Battersea’s work.

This role sits at the same level as the Impact & Evaluation Officer, offering a complementary focus on data preparation, reporting, descriptive analysis, and survey/monitoring tool support. Shine supports a community of over 15,000 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, including 5,000 children and young people (0–25).

You will be delivering high-quality support and creating opportunities for children and young people living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their families/carers. Supporting Shine members to lead healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives by improving condition management and fostering connections within the Shine community. 

This role will focus on children and young people (0–25), you will be primarily working within the Children, Young People and Families team. However, there will be occasions when you will work across age groups to ensure the best outcomes for our members. 

The role is home-based but you will be required to attend regular clinics in London including GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital). Other travel across Southern England including Bristol, Devon and Hampshire may be required. There will be occasional travel required across wider areas and nationally including attendance at events, conferences and meetings at our head office in Peterborough.

The Development Team generates funds to enable everyone experiencing a mental health issue to get both support and respect. This role will provide support to existing supporters and proactively expand community and event fundraising initiatives through groups, organisations, individuals, community-based events and 3rd party sporting events.

The post-holder is responsible for building relationships with community-based groups, individuals and event participants to ensure they reach their fundraising potential/target for the charity, whilst being an excellent ambassador for the organisation.

The post-holder will provide a physical presence at events, meetings and engagement opportunities.

This is an income generating role, but it is also about connecting with our supporters and creating long-term relationships for the future

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.

A key part of the role will be to recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers, to support service users and the delivery of the service.

The Stroke Support Coordinator will:

• Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Support clients to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes
• Be accountable for volunteers, so experience of recruiting, training and managing volunteers would be an advantage.

About You

The post holder will have experience/background in:

• A caring profession ideally with experience of supporting people with disabilities.

Housing First Engagement Worker

Do you have a good level of knowledge and experience of supporting people with multiple disadvantage in a housing setting? Then join Shelter as a Housing First Engagement Worker and you could soon be making a real difference to people affected by the housing emergency.

About the role

As an Engagement Worker, you will be pivotal in delivering Shelter’s purpose to defend the right to a safe home by enabling those we assist to enforce their housing rights. You will be a key member of the Housing First team in South Tyneside, delivering intensive support to a small number of individuals with multiple disadvantage, to move from homelessness to sustaining a tenancy. You will need to form links with partner organisations and agencies and your role will be fundamental in supporting someone on their journey through Housing First, supporting up to seven clients at any one time.

About you

You will need experience of support work, a proven ability to listen to, engage and work with individuals and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, especially substance misuse services, health and probation and people with lived experience of homelessness. You will have an awareness of working in a trauma informed, strengths based approach to help people with multiple disadvantage, as well as having experience of writing and implementing person centred support plans and writing detailed case-notes.  Also, you have flexible time management skills and are comfortable collaborating with people from other teams and organisations.

We’re looking for a Community Fundraiser to join Sense on an 8-month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to help grow our community fundraising income while building meaningful relationships with supporters across the UK.

About the role

As Community Fundraiser, you will play a key role in developing and growing our community fundraising activity, helping to build a strong, engaged supporter base and generate vital income to support disabled people with complex needs.

You will lead on key income streams such as “Do Your Own Fundraising” and In Memory giving, while supporting campaigns, events and regional opportunities to maximise engagement and impact.

A new opportunity has arisen to join the Newt Conservation Partnership as Finance Officer. We’re looking for a dedicated and organised Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day management of one of our homeownership over 55s housing communities. In this role, you’ll provide help, support, and advice to residents, ensuring their wellbeing and promoting a safe and secure environment. You’ll be responsible for housing management, coordinating services, and maintaining positive relationships with residents and stakeholders. This is a rewarding position where your ability to deliver excellent customer service will make a real difference to the lives of older people. 

What you’ll do 
As a Community Manager, you’ll support new residents to settle in, provide information about the scheme, and promote health and safety through regular checks. You’ll manage onsite contractors, oversee repairs, and maintain accurate records of expenditure and income. You’ll process purchase orders, handle administration, and manage communal facilities. You’ll also work closely with Residents’ Committees, attend meetings, and liaise with statutory and voluntary organisations to signpost residents to additional support. Occasionally, you may need to respond to emergencies outside normal office hours. 

What you’ll need 

• Experience in housing management and working with older people. 
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with clear written and verbal communication. 
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and strong administration abilities. 
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance and understanding of care and support needs for older people.
• Ability to manage budgets and work independently while building positive relationships with stakeholders. 

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role. 

This is a part‑time role, working 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday. The salary is £17,775 per annum for 20 hours per week (full‑time equivalent salary: £31,107).

About the role:

The MARAC Administrator will support the MARAC Coordinator in the administering the MARAC process. The post holder will be co-located in Brent and will be required to attend MARAC meetings in various locations as required. There will also be a requirement to attend Advance’s Head office.

The MARAC Administrator will process MARAC referrals and flag to the MARAC Coordinator any referrals that have insufficient information or may not meet the MARAC threshold. The post holder will also compile the MARAC At Risk List for approval by the MARAC Coordinator, including case details of survivors and perpetrators who will be discussed at the MARAC.

About You:

To be successful as the MARAC Administrator you will need the below experience and skills:

• An understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic violence (physical, emotional and sexual violence, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families and communities.

• Experience of office management and administration roles and experience of maintaining data systems and producing regular monitoring reports

• Accurate and methodical approach to dealing with data processing, filing systems, facts and figures

• Excellent literary and administrative skills including ability in information technology, data collection and in-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• The ability to be flexible, working as a team or independently as required to support the service and colleagues

• An ability to work in partnership with relevant statutory and voluntary groups, to demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain strong constructive working relationships

• An ability to cope in stressful situations; able to multi-task and prioritise, remaining calm under pressure
