Given the nature of SUDEP Action's work, the role also requires sensitivity, empathy and the ability to engage thoughtfully with people affected by epilepsy and bereavement.

Beder is looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and hands-on Head of Fundraising & Partnerships to lead the next stage of our growth.

Beder was established in memory of Beder Mirjan, who sadly took his own life in 2017 at the age of 18. Since then, we have spent the past eight years working to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention, challenge stigma and, increasingly, provide tangible support to people who need it.

The focus of our work is the Beder Therapy Voucher programme, through which we fund free therapy for people (18+) across the UK as we all need someone to talk to with demand for that support growing significantly.

Until now, much of Beder's fundraising has been founder-led, supported by an incredible network of ambassadors, partners, businesses and individuals. We have built exciting partnerships across sport, business, entertainment and hospitality whilst creating a charity with an engaged community and an ambitious vision for the future.

We are now ready to build a dedicated and sustainable fundraising function so we are looking for someone who can take ownership of that journey.

This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to manage an existing fundraising programme as we are looking for someone who enjoys building one. We are excited to be looking for a Young Adults Peer Support Worker. You will have your own lived experience of mental ill health and be able to use this experience as well as your professional skills and knowledge, to support others.

With the expansion of our work in this area we aim to reduce waiting times, reduce the number of people going into crisis, address inequalities and support transitions from youth to adult services. We will be offering holistic and personalised care and support to service users and carers.

Bowel Research UK are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Events Officer to lead the delivery and growth of their challenge events programme.

This brand-new role to the charity will focus on recruiting, supporting and stewarding participants across a range of fundraising events, with responsibility for the charity's London Marathon programme and third-party challenge event portfolio.

The postholder will play a key role in growing participation and income from challenge events, ensuring supporters receive an exceptional experience from registration through to completion. Working closely as part of the fundraising team, the Events Officer will identify opportunities to expand the charity's events programme and maximise fundraising potential.

About the Role

The London Library is an independently funded membership organisation. It has successfully achieved its goals to eliminate an operating deficit in recent years, which has included developing and growing its membership, the outreach and access programmes and the care of its collections and archive.

Revenue fundraising is essential, and the team raises income through a patrons programme, grants from trusts and foundations, philanthropic gifts, legacies and a biannual appeal to members.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage two important strands of the Library’s Development operation: Trusts and Foundations, and Legacies

· Oversee the Trusts and Foundations strategy and solicitation to maximise grants and income from grant giving bodies, including statutory funders

· With the support of a Senior Development Officer, manage the Library’s Legacy programme, develop and implement strategies to promote legacy giving, steward legacy pledgers and grow the number of legacy pledgers

About You

· Previous trust fundraising experience or transferrable strong persuasive writing skills

· Track record in relationship building externally (clients/donors) and internally (programme delivery staff) including customer or donor care experience

 We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Care Coordinator to support in our clinical service delivery. Many of our clients have complex needs and this role ensures that clients acquire the support they need to receive multi-agency services.

About the role

The role involves managing the care coordination service area assessment and organising the allocation of care-coordination tasks, working alongside the Adult Team Manager and Clinical Services Manager as part of the intake panel and holding a caseload offering care coordination to survivors of torture. This role ensures that service users at Freedom from Torture have a central role in planning their care planning and are supported to access the most appropriate support for their needs.

Working together with our therapists, and legal and welfare staff as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the ideal candidate will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with significant experience of working in the mental health sector with complex mental health presentations and will have a passion for working with asylum seekers, refugees and survivors of torture.

The role will include delivering line management and supervision to care co-ordinators within the team and may at times include delivering supervision to social work students, lived experience support workers as well as other clinical staff and approved volunteers.

The Senior Care coordinator also works closely with the national pain lead in support of pain management for our clients, which involves linking with, GPs, community physio services and at times the role may include running and facilitating 1:1 and group psychological pain management interventions or stabilisation strategies alongside clinical colleagues.

The role will also involve providing clinical manager cover – i.e. on-site managerial cover and duty cover in line with the clinical cover procedure, and to provide guidance for clinicians with urgent queries. The Senior Care coordinator will work alongside the National safeguarding leads to support clients and colleagues by attending internal and external safeguarding/ child protection meetings and provide consultation to line reports and other colleagues around managing safeguarding concerns and regularly updating and reviewing our internal safeguarding tracker.

The Community Hub Activities Coordinator will lead the day-to-day coordination of a one-year walking, wellbeing and social connection programme for Newham residents aged 55 and over. The programme combines a weekly accessible guided walk, delivered in partnership with other external partners with a weekly Community Connection Café facilitated by the postholder.

The postholder will build trusted relationships with residents who may be isolated, inactive, recently bereaved, living with long-term health conditions or lacking confidence to join community activities. They will coordinate outreach, referrals, venues, volunteers, safeguarding, signposting and monitoring so that participants receive a safe, welcoming and inclusive experience. The role will ensure that walking is a gateway to friendship, confidence, healthier ageing and wider practical support.

We are seeking a term time only, Regional Coordinator to support the relationship between RNCSF and local schools in the North East to secure independent day and boarding school bursary placements and access to partnership activities for care experienced children (CEVC). The post holder will be involved in engaging school stakeholders by attracting suitable school partners and being a powerful advocate for the programme.

The successful candidate will need to use their excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders in Local Authorities and schools, ensuring the continued success of the “Broadening Educational Pathways” programme – a Department for Education programme delivered by RNCSF.  As you will be responsible for all applications in your region it is also essential that you are organised and efficient, with superb time management skills.

As a Senior Debt Adviser, you will work with, support, assist and represent vulnerable people of all ages and abilities to improve their financial situation and wellbeing. You will assess people’s circumstances and advise them accordingly. This will involve offering support and advice in income maximisation, financial capability, energy comparison, welfare benefit and specialist debt advice.

You will work with, support, and represent people of all ages and abilities, many of whom will be experiencing circumstances that make them vulnerable.

Key Responsibilities:

· Working with and supporting vulnerable people of all ages and abilities to try to maximise their income and improve their financial circumstances and wellbeing. You will establish a relationship based on trust to ensure you provide the necessary support and assistance;

· To conduct monthly case reviews of the Auriga Assist Debt Team in line with established quality standards and provide feedback with team members.

· To be the first point of contact for the Auriga Assist Debt Team on complex issues.

· Develop and manage interviews with clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to allow clients to explain their problem(s);

· Complete an initial assessment of a client’s needs to identify areas where support is required and plan next steps/ provide support throughout the process;

· Helping people to maximise their income, provide guidance on budgeting, provide unbiased and holistic advice and guidance on how to deal with problem debt, liaising and negotiating with third parties, including statutory and non-statutory organisations as required;

· Acting on behalf of the client wherever necessary to facilitate debt relief options to include form filling, drafting, or writing letters and telephoning, supporting clients to plan, implement, and review action and provide continuing support to clients where necessary, including assistance with disputes and complaints;

· Enabling clients to act on their own behalf and empower them to set their own priorities

· Actively encourage engagement from clients referred through to the service from both internal and external sources;

· To carry a caseload of enquiries requiring detailed ongoing casework. To maintain accurate and appropriate records relating to each case, recording all activity, interventions and outcomes within the case record whilst ensuring that correct procedures are followed, to ensure quality standards are met;

· Manage your own workload, administration, and diary commitments;

· To ensure a high-quality service to customers including, but not limited to, face to face, telephone, written and emails;

· Collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders and health and social care professionals to evaluate caseload needs and the progress that has been made;

· To keep up to date and share knowledge with the team on legislation, case law, policies and procedures and undertake appropriate training as and when required;

· Able to proactively identify own training and development needs and those of others;

· Ability to work within and adhere to organisational policies and procedures and ensure work meets internal and external SLAs;

· Perform other duties commensurate with the post as required.

Requirements:

· Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent by experience);

· At least 2 years’ experience in the advice sector;

· A good working knowledge of welfare benefits and charitable trust funds; and basic knowledge of services provided by the NHS and social care services

• Location: Hackney Bridge, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London (a canalside public destination less than five minutes from Hackney Wick station) 

• Salary: £40,000-£45,000 FTE depending on experience, pro rata to £24,000-£27,000 

• Hours: 0.6 FTE (3 days/21 hours per week) with a view to the role expanding to full-time in the future. Office hours are 10am - 6pm with occasional evenings and weekends. Flexible working opportunities are available.

The Outrunners are a running and movement charity based in Hackney, on a mission to empower young people through movement. Backed by an incredible crew of volunteers and partner brands like Nike and Moju, we help young people in East London to build confidence, wellbeing, health and leadership skills.

We deliver free, fun, sociable, youth‑led running and movement sessions for 8–18 year olds every week - during term time and holidays. But we’re about more than just running. We also create space for young people to explore creativity and culture, go on exciting trips, access wraparound wellbeing support, and develop the skills and opportunities they need to shape the futures they want.

Our achievements

We’re a small charity but we pack a mighty punch. Our income has grown year-on-year since we became a charity 6 years ago -  allowing us to expand our core team and move into office premises large enough to incorporate a Youth Hub. Last year we worked with over 1,150 young people through our school and communities programs, and this year we’re looking to expand our work even further!

To give you a sense of the kinds of work that we do, over the last year we have:

• Hosted a free Girls’ Festival for 100+ ethnically diverse young girls, allowing them to try running sessions, creative classes and yoga experiences in a safe and empowering environment.

• Hosted free training Academies for ethnically diverse women and young people aged 16-21 to train for their very first half or full marathons! We offered physical, emotional and logistical support throughout their training journey and cheered on every single one of them as they ran either the Hackney Half or the London Marathon under The Outrunners name. Since programme launch, we have worked with over 250 people in our Academies.

• Took diverse groups of young people to races and events, such as Hackney School Run and Black to the Trails. 

• Offered personalised mentoring to several of our young people who were struggling with school or life.

• Expanded the career horizons of young people by offering them free work experience opportunities with our partner brands.

What do we want?

We are looking for an experienced Fundraising Partnerships Manager to help drive the next stage of growth at The Outrunners (current annual income circa £350k). This growth will enable us to expand our after-school and holiday programmes reaching more young people where they are, building their confidence and skills.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead our brand and corporate partnerships fundraising strategy and delivery, securing and growing relationships with values-aligned brands and businesses who share our belief in the power of movement to transform young lives.

This is a strategic and hands-on role. You will identify new partnership opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and build long-term relationships that generate income, opportunities and experiences for the young people we support.

You will translate the lived experiences, energy and impact of our young people and programmes into compelling partnership opportunities that generate income, engagement and meaningful experiences for both our young people and partners.

You'll be equally comfortable developing strategy, pitching to partners, nurturing relationships and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.

Experience and skills we’re looking for

• Proven experience securing income through corporate partnerships (100k+), sponsorship, fundraising or business development.

• Strong track record of building and managing relationships with brands, businesses, funders or senior stakeholders.

• Experience identifying, developing and converting new partnership opportunities into income and impact.

• Experience delivering partnership benefits and activations, including events, volunteering opportunities, employee engagement initiatives, campaigns or sponsorship programmes.

• Ability to create compelling partnership proposals, presentations and cases for support, tailoring for specific audiences.

• Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate impact data and lived experience into engaging partner propositions.

• Commercially minded, with an understanding of how to create mutually beneficial partnerships that align organisational and partner goals.

• Excellent organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Sound understanding of fundraising regulation, ethical partnerships and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

1. New partnerships & business development 

• Identify, research and secure new partnerships with values-aligned brands, businesses and organisations.

• Build relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders across prospective partner organisations.

• Develop and deliver tailored partnership proposals, sponsorship decks and impact led presentations to attract partners.

• Lead partnership negotiations (with CEO) and onboarding, ensuring new partners have a positive experience from the outset.

• Represent The Outrunners externally through meetings, networking events and partnership opportunities to generate new leads and raise awareness of our work.

2. Partnership management & activation 

• Act as the primary relationship manager for existing partners, building trusted, long-term relationships.

• Develop and deliver partnership plans, ensuring agreed activities, benefits and objectives are achieved.

• Work closely with colleagues to create engaging opportunities for partners to support and connect with young people through events, volunteering and other initiatives.

• Support the development of partnership content, case studies, presentations and storytelling assets that showcase the impact of The Outrunners' work.

• Provide regular updates, impact reports and partnership reviews that demonstrate value and outcomes.

• Identify opportunities to strengthen, renew and grow existing partnerships.

3. Partnerships strategy & growth 

• Develop and deliver The Outrunners' partnerships strategy, aligned with our mission, values and organisational goals.

• Work with the CEO to identify and prioritise partnership opportunities that support organisational growth and impact.

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners, monitoring performance against agreed partnership and income targets.

• Develop compelling partnership propositions that connect The Outrunners' work with the priorities of prospective partners.

4. Impact, Systems & Reporting

• Maintain accurate partnership records, reporting and pipeline management through CRM systems.

• Gather stories, outcomes and impact data to support partner communications and reporting.

• Produce partnership materials, presentations and case studies.

• Produce partnership performance reports.

• Stay informed about partnership, sponsorship and CSR trends to identify new opportunities for The Outrunners.
