The Role
Proactively submit tailored fundraising applications to a wide range of charitable trusts, corporate foundations, National Lottery and statutory bodies, to fulfil the team income of c1m.
Continue working with a very warm pipeline, with many bids in progress and over 330k secured already.
Work with the Director of Communications and Fundraising (Director) and/or the Head of Fundraising as appropriate.
Manage and support the Trust and Foundations Officer, who oversees the smaller trust programme, empowering them to develop, grow and contribute to the overall strategy.
The Candidate
Proven experience of writing successful and compelling proposals and applications to Trusts and Foundations and securing multi year funding.
Experience of working across an organisation to develop fundraising bids and reports, ideally within a campaigning charity.
Demonstrable experience in strategic planning and budgeting.
Ability to undertake high quality research to identify potential trusts and foundation prospects.

The Targeted Service Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a dedicated team to support young people facing unique challenges. Key responsibilities:
- You will lead a team to delivering high-quality support programmes tailored to the diverse needs of the Blackburn & Darwen community's youth.

- You will manage team performance, ensuring accuracy in monitoring and reporting activities.

The Targeted Services Manager will have significant experience working with vulnerable children or young people, including at management level, with experience dealing with child protection and safeguarding concerns and knowledge of Child Protection legislation. The successful candidate will be able to undertake needs assessments, a multi-agency approach to addressing the needs of young people and keep accurate records for monitoring and review purposes. You will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. You will have experience of delivering group activities, communicating effectively and sensitively with children, young people and adults, and experience of building, managing and sustaining relationships. You will have good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing volunteers or mentors to support the personal and social development of children and young people, but this is not essential.
The role is full time. You will need to be committed to working flexible hours which may involve some evening and weekend work. Our client, a leading London University, is currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated MSc Course Administrator. The post is to start as soon as possible and is a full-time (35 hours per week), ongoing role. The post will be 5-days on site Monday-Friday, based in Chelsea & Farringdon.
Key responsibilities for this post will include:
- Assisting the MSc Course Team in the preparation, organisation and running of student registration and induction events
- Assisting with maintaining a complete teaching timetable for the year
- Providing administrative support to lecturers and students
- Liaising with venue staff for the preparation of the teaching and office spaces
- Creating, maintaining, and handling student records and data
- Assisting with uploading content into the virtual learning environment
- Assisting the Postgraduate Teaching Coordinator with Assessment administration
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Worked in a similar post previously, ideally from a higher education setting or a similar organisation in the wider not for profit sector.
- Experience within a fast-paced, customer facing environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office suite of products and the ability to use bespoke systems.
- Knowledge of GDPR standards and respect for confidentiality of personal information
