Our charity, the Jon Egging Trust, is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of working with young people, to plan and deliver inspiring teamwork, leadership and employability programmes in East Anglia. The role involves liaising with school staff, local partners (including the Military and local businesses) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people and is supported by the Regional Manager, East Anglia.

The successful candidate will be based from home with a requirement to travel to partner schools and business sites predominantly around Wisbech and Swaffham. Fuel expenses are paid and travel time is included as part of working hours. Working with secondary schools to provide early support programmes, core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed as required.

About the Service

The Crisis Centre and rest of Nightlight Services (Café’s, Helpline, Daylight provision) is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways. We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our helpline, crisis cafes and 24/7 Crisis Centre. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary.

As a member of our diverse team, you will work closely with service users in crisis by using a person-centred approach to ensure that each individual is supported with dignity and respect. By honouring the individual experience of each service user, we are able to respect their autonomy as well as encourage and facilitate positive steps towards management of crisis and recovery.

About the Role

This role is managing a shift, delivering emotional support within a 24/7 four bed crisis house.

Alongside other Crisis Centre Coordinators, to be a key member of the Crisis Centre team, providing effective operational leadership delivering the Nightlight Mental Health Crisis Centre Service. You will be ensuring the delivery and development of quality crisis support services and instilling Hertfordshire Mind Network’s values throughout the provision. You will provide management support to Crisis Centre Mental Health Support Workers and support the Crisis Centre Team Leader in ensuring practice within the service is safe, effective and person centred.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing emotional support and developing, alongside service users, flexible and realistic crisis support/person-centred plans within agreed guidelines with support from the leadership team (including assessments of need, risk, crisis support plans and review forms) in person or via telephone.
• Draw upon own lived experience as appropriate to inform the delivery of person centred support.
• Providing immediate advice and information to clients to support with crisis presentations.
• Liaise with Nightlight management and external services e.g. police, ambulance service, Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, Single Point of Access, Safeguarding Out of Hours Service, Mental Health Liaison Teams, Adult Community Mental Health Services etc. as needed in terms of accepting referrals and proactively recognising the indicators of deteriorating mental health and facilitating appropriate support.
• Complete appropriate signposting/onward referrals to both internal and external services in accordance with identified needs and risks.
• Ensuring record keeping is maintained to the required standards at all times and contributing to service monitoring requirements.
• Arranging transport for service users to facilitate access to services as needed.
• You will line manage a number of Crisis Centre Mental Health Support Workers and be part of the operational management for the Nightlight Crisis Centre.

Woodgreen is looking to appoint a part time Supporter Relations Executive for 15 hours a week to support our existing team in growing the engagement, loyalty and value of our supporters by ensuring that they always feel valued and know the difference they are making to pets and their people.  Working as part of a small but busy team you will be the first point of contact for the charity through the management of the supporter email inboxes, donation phone lines and post and will also look after the administration and processing of donations and data import files.  Furthermore you will be responsible for maintaining accurate database records and providing personalised communications.

In addition to this our Supporter Relations Executive will;

• Maintain the fundraising database, and other CRM platforms, so that all supporter details are complete, accurate and up to date in order to comply with GDPR regulations.
• Administer the Gift Aid Programme ensuring Gift Aid declarations are accurately recorded and scanned to maximise Gift Aid income and compliance with HMRC rules and regulations.
• Work collaboratively and positively across the charity, building close working relationships with colleagues to ensure knowledge and key information is shared and obtained so all enquiries received can be answered with accuracy, confidence and professionalism.
• Be responsible for processing and fulfilling supporter requests for fundraising materials such as Pet Promise, Legacy Packs, Money Boxes and Fundraising Packs so supporters receive the information requested in a timely manner in line with service level agreements.

To be considered you will need to have;

• Significant administration and data entry experience.
• Significant customer service experience in a multi-channel environment.
• Significant working experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Database.
• Demonstrable experience of effective communication at all levels across an organisation.
• Detailed understanding of Data Protection principles and legislation.
• The ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage your workload to meet deadlines.
• The confidence to use your own initiative when dealing with customer enquiries or complaints.

This is a part time hybrid position working 15 hours per week.  Please specify at the point of application what this working pattern may look like to you.  It is expected that the successful candidate will spend one day per week at our Godmanchester site.

The starting salary for this role will be £24,000 - £25,936 pro rata per annum depending on experience.

Richmond Fellowship’s community arts studio Art Matters requires a creative individual with an arts background to join our team as Studio Arts Facilitator.

You will have an arts background, qualifications and skills in a range of arts activities and will be involved in supporting attending artists to explore their creative interests during sessions and workshops.

You will be considered and respectful in your approach to your work and understand the benefits of creativity on mental wellbeing. Calm, resourceful, and enthusiastic you are highly motivated, hardworking, and keen to support people (service users, artists) in a creative and holistic manner.

You have experience in facilitating art groups, excellent communication skills and will help maintain a friendly and welcoming space, supporting people with all levels of creative experience.

You have good all round IT skills and are confident using Microsoft packages. You may also have experience using iMac editing software and social media platforms. You will learn and use Richmond Fellowship programmes, systems and processes daily.

As part of a small team, you will be required to work closely with colleagues, volunteers and partner organisations. You will need to be flexible and positive and take ownership of tasks and deadlines.

Alongside the team you will enjoy your responsibilities in keeping the studio safe. You will support the implementation of Richmond Fellowship health and safety polices and carry out risk assessments as needed.

Mainly studio based, you may be required at times to work in an outreach capacity at other Surrey-based community hubs delivering workshops, exhibitions and arts and mental health promotion with occasional out of hours and weekend working.
