Digital Change Manager

Role purpose 

Adoption UK is undertaking a major digital transformation, initially focused on CRM and Website developments. Our Digital Transformation Team will drive this change programme, working with colleagues and external digital partners; and subsequently deliver our on-going digital strategy implementation and development. 

You will support the Digital Transformation Lead to refine and implement Adoption UK’s digital strategy, to deliver our digital transformation project. Working with internal and external stakeholders the team will ensure that the project’s vision and scope meet the business and operational needs of the charity. An important part of your role will be to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation and particularly with our Marketing and Communications team to integrate digital into all current and upcoming projects. 

We’re looking for someone who has experience of project working in a digital environment, particularly within website and CRM implementation. 

Background – our digital transformation 

Like many charities, we’ve historically developed our digital framework and footprint organically, with insufficient web and CRM integration and functionality, duplication and data silos; resulting in data management and website functionality that don’t meet all our users’ needs. We’re changing all that by: 

1. Investing in our customer-facing website and data management systems; connecting all our divisions and services, delivering integrated systems that provide a positive customer and stakeholder journey.
2. Developing the next generation of digitally accessible services 
3. Extending our in-house digital capability to support continuous delivery. 

Key accountabilities: 

• Support the Digital Transformation Lead to implement the charity’s digital strategy.

• Coordinate data and content activities, including migration between platforms, to deliver our website and CRM digital transformation programme.

• Utilise and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation and with current and future digital partners. Use these networks to: 

• embed digital first principles and best practice. 

• Train, coach and mentor colleagues to be effective users of our CRM and website. 

• Progress opportunities to increase our digital capability and integrate digital into our current and upcoming work. 

• Utilise the digital performance assessment framework to monitor compliance with digital and data best practice standards. 

• Assist in maintaining our data security standards compliance, participating in quality assurance activities. 

• Work collaboratively with our external digital and IT partners. 

Essential Criteria 

• Significant experience of website and CRM implementation and data/content management. 

• Good general knowledge and experience of organisational IT systems, including cloud and M365 applications. 

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Able to convey complex or technical information simply and clearly. 

• Experience of IT/Digital supplier engagement. Able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Experience of working in a digital project/change environment. 

• Ability to work under pressure and to respond quickly to changing circumstances and to tight timetables 

Desirable criteria 

• Experience of working in an organisation which uses agile development methodologies. 

• A strong understanding of the National Cyber Security Centre principles and approach and General Data Protection regulations principles, audit and compliance.

This is a home based position with the requirement to travel across the East Midlands. This will vary but could be 2-3 days a week

We are looking for an individual to work full-time which will include a mix of 9-5pm and 12-8pm fixed shifts per week, depending on service requirements.

You will work Monday to Friday, with potentially occasional Saturdays (9-2pm remotely) due to possible requirements of the service, however another day off would be agreed on during the week.

About you

You should have significant experience in individual client work in the field of addictions, mental health or a social care setting with adults or young people. You should be flexible in using a range of low and high-intensity interventions and modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) tools.

You will be expected to be able to work from home thereby having the space for a confidential setting whilst also being able to travel within the region to attend events and offer localised in person support as required.

Job Summary: 

The Corporate & Events Fundraiser will help to drive income for the organisation through the effective planning, delivery and operation of CRASH’s growing Corporate Patron programme and event portfolio. 

This is a pivotal role in enabling CRASH to achieve its goals – helping developing relationships with new and long-term corporate patrons. Communicating the organisation’s work to build lasting relationships and future support. It is an important role as one of the first points of contact for CRASH, both internally and externally. 

Reporting to the Corporate Partnership Manager, the Corporate and Events Fundraiser will be responsible for driving engagement, loyalty and income through innovative corporate patron fundraising activities and events.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Corporate Patrons  

• Ensure excellent stewardship of existing and new corporate donors, working with the Corporate Fundraising Manager to create innovative strategies to generate high levels of loyalty and commitment, fostering and enhancing their long-term relationship with the charity. This includes organising bi-annual meetings. 

• Produce annual Corporate Patrons Social Impact Reports. 

• Organise dates for lunch and learn presentations with Corporate Patrons. 

• Lead of fundraising campaigns such as Big March and Christmas Campaign. These campaigns aim to achieve an income target set annually. 

• Work with colleagues to ensure that any potential corporate patrons are communicated with and are developed to their fullest potential. 

2. Events / Award Evening  

• Organising and managing CRASH Events whilst promoting the charity's cause and engaging with attendees and volunteers. 

• Support Corporate Patrons with their fundraising initiatives provide materials. QR codes and guidance on Just Giving platforms. 

• Manage the Run for Charity Relationships. Draft content and communications to promote running events. Manage relationships with individuals participating in fundraising runs to ensure their needs are met and encourage continued support. 

• Manage the attendance at Award Evenings preparing for attendance at award evenings and charitable collections which may include securing raffle prizes from Corporate Patrons. This may be outside of working hours, and you will receive time off in lieu to compensate. 

• Recruiting volunteers from Corporate Patrons for regular events and award evenings. 

• Ensure events are delivered to a high standard of safety, accessibility, participant experience and financial success.

3. Finance  

• Acknowledge corporate patron donations, attending cheque presentations and photo opportunities as necessary, working with Marketing and Communications Manager to generate positive media coverage. 

• Ensure the monthly management of all income is recorded and reconciled accurately and promptly on Access database. 

• Ensure Gift Aid claims are completed and submitted after each CRASH event working in collaboration with the Finance Manager. 

4. General  

• Ensure Fundraising Calendar and activities are up to date on the website 

• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure regular and engaging content to promote fundraising activity and initiatives. 

• Utilising ACT Database, maintain an accurate record of supporter details and activity ensuring they receive relevant and timely communication resulting in ongoing fundraising opportunities and development of long-term support 

• To be aware of and adhere to the Institute of Fundraising Codes of Conduct and Codes of Best Practice. 

• To have up to date knowledge, understanding and compliance of GDPR regulations including the handling and protecting personal data in accordance with GDPR guidelines 

• To represent the charity publicly when required. 

• Ad-hoc travel to project visits, events and Corporate Patron meetings. 

Key Relationships 

• CRASH is a small team of 7 so it is vitally important that this role builds strong collaborative working practices across the organisation as well as with external stakeholders.

About the role

We have an exciting role available for a motivated and passionate leader to join the No Second Night Out (NSNO) team as Service Manager, where you will have the opportunity to lead our Staging Post team in Lewisham. The NSNO Staging Post project offers additional assessment and reconnection support to clients over a 28 day period, ensuring those at risk of rough sleeping can be directed to services suitable to their immediate, medium and longer term needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of outdoor work working in a small team and practically solving problems. 

A full clean driving licence is required as the role holder will be driving works vehicles and driver operated site plant as required. We note that this is a physically demanding role.

Section 20 Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Section 20 Specialist to lead statutory consultations and ensure full compliance across major works programmes.

Position: Section 20 Specialist
Salary: £35,951 per annum London weighted or £32,188 per annum Regional
Location: London Stratford or Manchester Trafford with hybrid working 20 to 40 percent office based

About the Role

This is a specialist position within a growing Service Charge team, focused on managing the full Section 20 statutory consultation process. You will take ownership of consultations from start to finish, ensuring all notices, communications and documentation meet legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading Section 20 statutory consultation processes in line with Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002
• Issuing notices, logging follow ups and responding to observations within required timeframes
• Reconciling final major works costs and communicating outcomes to residents within statutory deadlines
• Issuing invoices for works within the 18 month recovery period
• Managing resident queries and providing clear guidance on legal requirements
• Working closely with Homeownership, Technical Services, Procurement, Estate Services, Finance and Service Charge teams
• Identifying non recoverable costs and escalating potential risks
• Maintaining accurate records on internal systems and supporting financial reconciliations

You will play a vital role in protecting income recovery while ensuring residents are fully consulted and informed.

About You

You will bring:

• Experience of Section 20 consultation processes, compliance and service charge administration
• Strong knowledge of leasehold legislation including Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002
• Understanding of First tier Tribunal applications relating to dispensation and service charge disputes
• Excellent numerical skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
• A logical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
