We’re looking for two Day Concierges to join our Lewisham service, a dynamic cluster of properties providing safe accommodation and tailored support to homeless Londoners. Based across our hub offices in Brockley and New Cross, you’ll be the first friendly face our residents, visitors and partners meet each day. Working closely with the Duty Worker, you’ll help ensure everything behind the scenes runs seamlessly - from managing calls and appointments to overseeing rotas, supplies and maintenance requests. You’ll play a vital role in keeping the service connected, informed and responsive, helping residents feel secure and staff stay supported. Your eye for detail, ability to juggle tasks and natural people skills will make you the steady presence that keeps things on track.

You don’t need previous experience in the homelessness sector to join us - just great organisational skills, confidence in communication and a genuine passion to make a difference. We’re looking for a Supporter Stewardship Supervisor to deliver outstanding customer experience, recognising supporter loyalty and inspiring them to continue being part of our journey.

What does this role do?

As a Supporter Stewardship Supervisor, you will:

• supervising the daily operations of the Supporter Stewardship team, distributing work and ensuring work is delivered to a high standard,

Job Title: Service Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. As part of this role, you will be required to work from site and participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Service Manager to lead on the delivery of high-quality services to the women and their children living in our refuges and survivors of domestic abuse supported by our community outreach service.

We are recruiting for Service Manager who is passionate about supporting survivors who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes.  This is a multifaceted, fast paced, and exciting role where you will join our team in Derby to lead on the delivery and development of high-quality refuge and outreach services for survivors of domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes.

Our service provision in Derby includes culturally specific service for South Asian women as well as a specialist multiple disadvantage support worker who support survivors facing enhanced needs.

The post holder will provide line management and support to the accommodation based and the outreach service staff. This will include providing supervision on complex and high-risk cases, overseeing operational emergencies, and ensuring high standards of casework. You will also ensure that all service users in refuges and the outreach service always receive a high-quality support service in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures.

The Service Manager will lead on the delivery of the multiagency aspect of work, working jointly with the Refuge teams and wider stakeholders to deliver best services to the survivors.

Candidates must have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to vulnerable people, managing, and motivating staff, managing casework as well as working within multiagency setting.  In addition, you must have an excellent knowledge of domestic abuse and other gender-based violence and its impact on survivors.  

You will have knowledge of relevant criminal and civil law legislation, as well as Housing and Health and Safety legislation.   

As member of the management team, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call management service.

The service manager will be responsible for ensuring that contractual and other funding requirements are met fully, this includes ensuring that the services operate within the allocated budget and that Refuge’s high-quality standards are maintained. The role may involve visiting potential sites and contributing to the establishment of new services in conjunction with the development team.

The job involves working closely with staff that support survivors and their children who are experiencing domestic abuse and other gender-based violence.

Our client is a leading Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Counselling training organisation and therapeutic services provider based in North London. At an exciting time of change, the organisation are now looking to recruit a dynamic new Director of Services to oversee the efficient delivery and development of their therapeutic services.

As Director of Therapeutic Services you will be responsible for leading on the delivery, development and growth of the organisation's therapeutic services. You will oversee a small, tight-knit team (comprising of office staff, as well as a Clinical Lead and a School Liaison Coordinator), leading on administrative, marketing and budgeting for the entire service.  You will update and implement policies across the organisation to meet standards in the field of therapeutic provision and mental health services. You will also liaise with external agencies, statutory and non-statutory organisations and schools, nurturing relationships, identifying new clients and securing new contracts in order to develop additional revenue streams and ensure the financial sustainability of the Centre.

You will have an awareness of children mental health services (CAMHS) and related settings such as education, social care, health, public sector, and will be confident working in partnership and building relationships with a variety of external agencies. A recognised child psychotherapy qualification with UKCP or ACP training organisation would be an advantage.

What's the role about?

• Providing regional coordination and direction of RSPB Youth Group operations and building volunteer capability in England.

This role will work alongside the Youth Group Development Officer, North England to manage the England network of Youth Groups. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across four countries and UKHQ from a range of teams including Area Teams, People Engagement, Youth Mobilisation and Volunteering.

This role will require one evening each month to deliver training and induction sessions. Additionally, you’ll travel up to six times a year, at weekends, to visit RSPB Youth Groups in person.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Strong understanding of best practice and sector standards in working with young people in a non-formal youth setting, combined with a proven ability to design, develop and successfully deliver a range of activities that engage and inspire groups of young people.
• Knowledge and understanding of volunteering best practice, innovation and sector standards with a strong track record of successfully developing volunteering roles across an organisation.

As Legacy Relationship Executive, you will grow the future legacy income of World Vision through building relationships with some of our longest serving supporters and asking them to consider leaving a gift in their will and following up our supporters who have expressed an interest to convert them to pledgers.

World Vision has over 100,000 supporters around the UK and this job focuses on our supporters who have been supporting us for over 10 years and really love sponsoring a child and helping our cause.

This role involves mainly thanking our sponsors and ensuring they are getting the best experience, keeping them informed, updated and asking them to consider a gift in their will.

The Role

You will manage the day-to-day operation of the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager, including managing a team of volunteers, ensuring accurate accounting and handling of assets, delivering high standards of customer service, and adhering to all charity policies and procedures. You will lead by example and ensure that volunteers, supporters, donors, and customers understand how their contributions are making a difference to the lives of people in Yorkshire and beyond.

Specifically, you will:

· Play an active part in running our shop in Hornbeam, supporting the Shop Manager in implementing processes and ways of working.

· Provide cover for days off, holidays and sickness as required, with possible occasional travel to other shops to provide support if needed by the charity.

· Support the Shop Manager to maximise the income and profit of the shop through active stock management, replenishment, and rotation.

· Manage a team of well-trained volunteers in the absence of the Shop Manager and take every effort to create a positive retail environment.

· Support the Shop Manager to ensure accurate accounting and handling of assets (items donated and money received).

· Support the Shop Manager to ensure accurate record keeping of items donated and the amount paid for each item for Gift Aid tax reclaim purposes.

· Create a welcoming professional atmosphere and deliver high standards of customer service for all customers and supporters.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

· To ideally be educated to GCSE level or equivalent but not essential.  

· Experience of managing people/volunteers including recruitment and development.

· To be highly organised with good time management skills.

· To be able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

· To be able to use own initiative.

· To be resilient and adaptable to change.

· To have good planning, guiding and motivation skills to successfully achieve targeted income is desirable.

· A willingness and ability to occasionally travel across the Yorkshire region as needed for training sessions and team meetings.
