We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Events Officer to join our Communications, Marketing & Engagement team. You will lead and deliver marketing activity and events that increase brand awareness, engagement and recruitment for Homefield and our brands/services.

We’re looking for a proactive and curious thinker with excellent communication skills and proven experience in delivering integrated marketing campaigns. You will be highly proficient in managing digital platforms and using modern digital tools to improve effectiveness. In this varied role, you will lead the planning and delivery of a diverse events calendar, including Open Days, commercial stalls, fundraising galas and community fairs. We are looking for a War Pension & Armed Forces Compensation Caseworker to join our War Pension & Armed Forces Compensation Service providing tribunal representation, advice, guidance and case management to beneficiaries, ensuring Royal British Legion’s commitment to support the Armed Forces Community and the needs of beneficiary are at the centre of all that we do. 

This role will see you as the main point of contact for individuals navigating the complexities of their claims, reviews, reconsiderations, and appeals related to both the Service Pension Order and the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme. You will manage your own caseload, guiding beneficiaries through the entire process with empathy, expertise, and a commitment to putting their needs first.

Reporting to the War Pension & ARCS Manager, key responsibilities will include:

- Provide specialist advice on War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation, ensuring all guidance is accurate and reflects current legislation
- Manage a diverse caseload, preparing cases from initial claims through to the appeals process and providing ongoing support to beneficiaries
- Conduct in-depth analysis of case files and paperwork, preparing for key dates and providing beneficiaries with clear information, guidance, and advice at every stage
- Support beneficiaries through appointments and tribunals, summarizing findings, setting expectations, and outlining next steps
- Maintain detailed and accurate case records using our case management systems
- Identify and address additional needs of beneficiaries, referring them to other RBL teams

We are looking for a Operations Manager to join our team, responsible for ensuring the daily running of our kennels, ensuring that all interactions with our dogs contribute to their development and progress. 

This is a live-in role where accommodation will be provided on site.

What does this role do?

As Operations Manager, you will:

• lead, manage and develop the team, delivering high performance and meeting all objectives.
• optimise kennel occupancy by supporting the intake process and work with the Welfare Manager to ensure fast and effective assessments of dogs.
• be responsible for the day to day operations of the kennels, including ensuring all procedures are followed by the team such as checking for microchips and checking paperwork is completed accurately.
• maintain effective contact time between colleagues and dogs, focusing on rehabilitation to move all dogs towards rehoming.

To be successful in this role, you'll need some experience of leading a high-performing team, coaching them to ensure they deliver their outputs effectively and on time, underpinned by excellent communication skills. You'll have strong dog handling skills, comfortable handling dogs of various breeds and characteristics. You'll be confident working alongside other management colleagues to deliver great outcomes for the centre, ensuring as many dogs as possible are rehomed.

Your role is to engage influential and high-profile individuals and Trusts in the UK, connecting them to the difference they can make to thousands of men facing prostate cancer. You’ll lead on our established high value giving club, ‘The Pioneers’, and be creative with developing and growing membership and income for this product.

Providing the highest level of stewardship, you’ll ensure existing and new supporters feel valued, inspiring them to make five and six figure gifts, which will significantly improve the lives of men facing prostate cancer and their families. You’ll also harness the support of our enthusiastic and influential Trustees, Senior Volunteers and Leadership Team, involving them when appropriate.

About Kirklees Better Outcomes Partnership (KBOP)

KBOP is a mission driven social enterprise working with a partnership of expert delivery organisation to provide floating support to vulnerable people across Kirklees. Through following an asset-based approach focusing on people’s strengths and aspirations, we enable people to secure accommodation and to give them the skills required to sustain these tenancies independently over time, with a key focus on helping people into employment. 

The project is an outcomes contract where we are paid for enabling people to achieve positive improvements in their lives relating to accommodation, education, employment and wellbeing. The role of KBOP is to drive continuous improvement across the service, set the strategy for the programme, and manage key stakeholder relationships, including with Kirklees Council, the service commissioner.

About the Opportunity:

The Initial Engagement Co-ordinator is a pivotal role to the function of KBOP. Working alongside the Team Leader and KBOP Central Hub, the role is the first point of contact for any individual or referring body seeking to access support from KBOP.

The responsibility of this role is to listen and understand the experiences of anyone contacting KBOP to determine how our service can support and enable them to overcome their current challenges, achieving their goals and ambitions. Ensuring that individuals feel supported from the first point of accessing KBOP and any immediate needs met with verbal advice, support and guidance over the phone.

This role will determine that anyone referred into the service is eligible and all information required to ensure to direct someone to the most suitable delivery partner, is available on the referral form. Signposting to alternative services if KBOP cannot meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· To engage with individuals contacting KBOP in a positive, asset focused way. Ensuring they feel heard and empowered to make their own decisions regarding the support they would like to receive.

· Clarifying ambitions, needs and eligibility of individuals seeking to access support from KBOP. Redirecting to other services if they do not have a housing need or currently accessing support from other services in Kirklees.

· If individual does have a housing need or is not currently supported by another services in Kirklees, assessing presenting ambition or needs to determine suitability for KBOP service.

· Once suitability has been confirmed,  providing initial advice, support and guidance to individuals or referring bodies seeking to access support from KBOP. Supporting any individual with low level guidance & interventions to ensure their needs are met and ambitions supported.

· Responding to any enquiry into the KBOP service. This will be via phone or email.

· Identify eligibility of initial enquiries to KBOP service – checking for completion of referral form & signature of participant giving consent. If individual is not eligible for the service redirecting to another suitable service within Kirklees.

· Ensuring all information fields on initial referral have been completed – prioritising personal contact information to ensure Delivery Partners have the right information to engage individuals as quickly as possible.

The Paralegal will support the Legal team by providing high-quality legal and governance assistance across a broad range of matters, including commercial contracts, data protection, charity governance, and compliance. This role will help ensure the organisation operates effectively, ethically, and in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, while supporting the charity’s wider mission and strategic objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Support the Legal & Compliance team with commercial contracts, including drafting, reviewing, redlining, and contract lifecycle management.

· Assist with data protection compliance and related processes, including maintaining confidentiality and supporting GDPR obligations.

· Support governance, company secretarial, and charity law related matters as required.

· Conduct legal and regulatory research on matters affecting the charity and non-profit sector.

· Maintain accurate legal records, filing systems, and documentation.

· Assist with the preparation and management of policies, agreements, and governance materials.

· Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across departments, escalating legal or compliance risks appropriately.

The Supporter Operations team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is a key point of contact in the charity for supporters and members of the public and ensures the highest standards in operational processes and compliance to ensure a first-class supporter experience.

As the Fundraising Operations Executive, you will primarily work as part of a small team to deliver essential fundraising operations activities ensuring excellent customer service, accurate records and reporting, and maintaining high levels of compliance. To ensure appropriate resourcing across the wider team and maintain SLAs, the role will also assist with enquiries and supporter stewardship activities as required.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Donation processing

· Ensure accurate data entry within CRM Salesforce, related to all campaign types, to include: In memory, Fundraising, Sporting Events, Direct Marketing Campaigns and unsolicited gifts; ensure accurate coding of online fundraising pages.

· Comply with policies and guidelines to handle cheques, cash, and vouchers, liaising with Finance team where required.

· Ensure accurate administration related to Standing Order payments, direct debits instructions, ensuring amendments, cancellations and new instructions are correctly handled.

· Ensuring ‘in aid of’ and gift acceptance policies are adhered to.

Supporter administration & compliance

· Ensure formal guidelines and best practice are adhered to in relation to Direct Debits, Gift Aid, FR codes of Fundraising Practice, Gambling Commission, and the Data Protection Act.

· Undertake a range of administrative duties including management of internal email enquiries; incoming post management; mailing order materials related to funeral collections, fundraising merchandise, and general health information; scanning, printing and archiving of documents.

· Ensure financial compliance activities such as refunds, income reversals and recoding are correctly administered; ensuring Salesforce CRM is updated with supporter details with a high level of integrity; ensure Gift Aid administration compliance such as recording of declarations, correct storage and compliance checks are undertaken.

· Confidence working with computers – good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM databases.

· Experience of customer care or fundraising in the charity sector.

· Experience of handling queries and complaints in administrative role.

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Support Services Manager to lead BBS UK’s support services for children, adults and families living with Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS). 

BBS UK is a national charity supporting people affected by this rare genetic condition. We work closely with NHS specialist clinics and other services to help individuals and families access the support they need and navigate health, education, social care and welfare systems. 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small, dedicated team providing practical support, advocacy and guidance to people living with BBS and their families. 

The role includes team leadership, safeguarding responsibility and service development. You will help ensure people receive safe, responsive and person-centred support while continuing to improve and strengthen our services. 

About the Role 

As Support Services Manager, you will oversee BBS UK’s clinics support and advice services. Working closely with the CEO, NHS clinics and partner organisations, you will: 

• Lead and support a small remote-working team

• Provide supervision and safeguarding leadership to Patient Liaison Officers and Advice Workers

• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the organisation

• Oversee caseloads, service quality and risk management

• Support staff wellbeing, learning and development

• Build positive relationships with NHS and external partners

• Help develop and improve BBS UK’s support services

This is a home-based role with travel to specialist clinics in London and Birmingham, plus occasional meetings and events. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with BBS UK policies.
