Herts Young Homeless is an independent charity and has been supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire since 1998. We are professional, passionate, collaborative and supportive charity that provides guidance to everyone who is in need of support.

We are looking for two dedicated and passionate Advice and Information Worker to join our team based in Hatfield! You will be the first point of contact for anyone needing to access the ‘hyh hub’ and will ensure that all referrals are triaged to identify the most effective pathway for support. The worker will deliver accurate advice and information to young people, parents and professionals, and work undertaken in a coordinated timely manner. You will carry out appropriate assessments, with other agencies where needed, to assess the needs of the family to prevent family breakdown and homelessness.

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied, short term case load with conflicting deadlines
- To offer realistic advice and options to young people, family members and professionals to prevent family breakdown and homelessness, identifying any other needs within the process.
- To carry out service user assessments under the JHP and liaise with statutory agencies, non-statutory agencies and family members to assist with a planned move on/secure accommodation for
16/17 year olds as required.
- Develop and maintain smooth, accurate pathways on the database for gathering and maintaining all relevant service user and statistical information
- To chair and coordinate family meetings, housing support meetings and liaison meetings with other agencies as required
- To liaise and refer into Crashpad as required and work within the set timescales
- Alongside team members and external partners, co-ordinate and implement focused action plans, working with families for a maximum of 6 weeks
- Working in strengths based way, support 16/17 year olds to advocate for themselves when appropriate and necessary
- Carry out the necessary follow-up work and write ups of service users files
- Encourage and promote a planned approach to solving conflict alongside the ‘hyh hub’ and explore the mediation / family link worker processes to young people and their families, in line with the ‘single pathway’ model.

As a successful candidate you will have...
- A full driving license and use of own car or motorbike for business purposes (Compulsory)
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the problems facing homeless young people
- Ability to engage and motivate young people, strong interpersonal skills including the ability to be appropriately assertive
- General administrative skills (filling, record keeping and computer literacy)
- Ability to work effectively with a full and varied workload with conflicting deadlines
- Excellent understanding of confidentially with strict professional boundaries and personal integrity

As Senior Trust and Foundations Officer you will support the delivery of our vision by growing our portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, crafting exceptionally high quality and persuasive applications for three, four and five figure bids and managing all successful and existing grants.

This integral role will provide high-quality administrative, compliance and organisational support across the charity. The Operations Officer will support day-to-day operations, ensuring strong governance, accurate record keeping and systems efficiency all of which will allow the delivery of CHEER’s client and volunteer services.Training will be offered where required (eg: compliance, DBS checking, charity governance).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. CRM management (Beacon) 

• Ensure the charity’s CRM is accurate, up to date and used consistently across the team. 

• Conduct regular spot checks and data quality reviews. 

• Support the transition to CRM-driven reporting. 

• Develop and maintain CRM admin processes, templates and documentation (including user guide). 

2. Governance, compliance & policy administration 

• Maintain organisational policies, procedures, training records and compliance documentation. 

• Schedule reviews cycles and follow up with team/trustees for updates. 

• Maintain accurate HR compliance records for team (DBS renewals, training certificates etc.). 

• Keep governance and compliance well-organised and accessible. 

• Contribute to improving workflows, systems and processes. 

3. SharePoint & digital systems maintenance 

• Lead an overhaul of SharePoint structure to create a clear, user-friendly filing system. 

• Ensure documents are saved, organised, version-controlled and archived. 

• Keep SharePoint updated and functioning well. 

• Support staff with basic digital troubleshooting and liaise with IT support when required. 

4. Memberships, subscriptions & Organisational admin 

• Monitor charity memberships, renewals, insurances, subscriptions, storage costs, licences, software and service contracts. 

• Maintain a central register of renewal dates and ensure timely payments. 

• Support procurement of equipment, supplies and services. 

5. Meeting coordination & minute taking 

• Manage meeting schedules, invitations, and logistics for: 

• AGM 

• Board/trustee meetings 

• Trustee/team meetings 

• Working groups and subcommittees 

• Prepare and circulate meeting papers. 

• Attend meetings, take accurate minutes and distribute them promptly.

Based from home (must be UK resident), with ad hoc client and team meetings/socials (all travel paid), mostly within England. All IT equipment provided. Full-time or part-time (minimum 0.8 FTE - 28 hrs).

About the role: 

We are looking for a passionate, ambitious Assistant Charity Shop Manager to join our successful team to help manage our charity shop in Old Swan. 

The Assistant Shop Manager will be an integral part of the wider Charity team.

Main Duties/Tasks: 

You will play a vital role in supporting the Shop Manager to lead, motivate, and develop a team of dedicated employees and volunteers, fostering strong community engagement and maximising the shop’s impact. This includes encouraging and harnessing the gifts of time from volunteers, goods from donors, and income from customers. As a visible and active ambassador for Alder Hey Children’s Charity on the high street, you will ensure the shop reflects the Charity’s values and purpose in all that it does. You will also support van collections and deliveries, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient transport of donated goods, while representing the Charity with enthusiasm and professionalism. 

Income generation: 

• Work with the Shop Manager to maximise sales and profits ensuring weekly targets are met. 

• Support the team to maximise income from Gift Aid on donated products. 

• Support the team to maximise income via our online platforms. 

• Support the team with arranging van deliveries/collections daily.

• Work with the wider Charity team to promote and support fundraising activities and events. 

• Explore ways to maximise sales via events, donation drives, pop-up shops etc. 

• Cash up the till at the end of shift and ensure banking documents are completed. Investigate any discrepancies and report them to the Manager. 

• Support with ensuring the money is ready and accessible for cash collection.

• Open and close the shop at the appropriate times.

Volunteers: 

• Support and management of a team of volunteers.

As a respected and growing organisation, BPNA is looking for a highly motivated individual who can use their dedication, attention to detail and reliability to help us develop further. We are seeking to appoint a UK Short Course Co-ordinator to join our small team which is based across our Bolton and London offices. The British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) is the professional organisation for doctors who specialise in the care of children with neurological disorders. The BPNA has developed a number of educational programmes for doctors in the UK and overseas both online and face-to-face. This is an excellent opportunity to join CARE International UK’s Programme Management Team in a senior programme finance role at a time when the organisation is continuing to evolve how it funds and delivers programmes. The role sits at the heart of CARE’s engagement with a wide range of institutional, corporate, and philanthropic donors and plays a critical role in ensuring programmes are well designed, financially robust, and compliant from proposal stage through delivery.

As Senior Programme Finance Specialist, you will work across diverse funding mechanisms, including traditional grants and commercial contracts, and collaborate closely with programme managers, country offices, and finance colleagues across the CARE confederation. The role offers meaningful exposure to complex programmes and innovative funding arrangements, as well as the opportunity to shape how CARE strengthens financial quality, risk management, and donor confidence across its portfolio.

About you

You are an experienced programme finance professional with strong budgeting and financial analysis skills and a track record of supporting proposals and managing grants for institutional and corporate donors. You are comfortable working on complex proposal budgets, including for commercial contracts and non-traditional funding mechanisms, and have a solid understanding of donor compliance requirements and cost recovery principles.

You bring excellent attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and the ability to explain financial and contractual issues clearly to non-finance colleagues. You are confident working independently across a mixed portfolio, supporting programmes across the full project lifecycle from proposal development and contracting through to delivery, reporting, and close-out. You share CARE’s commitment to tackling structural inequality and are comfortable working in line with feminist leadership, localisation, and safeguarding principles.

About the role

The Senior Programme Finance Specialist provides senior financial, contractual, and compliance leadership across a mixed portfolio of programmes funded by institutional, corporate, and philanthropic donors. The role has a strong focus on programme funding and proposal development, working closely with Programme Funding colleagues, Programme Managers, and Country Offices to develop compliant, well-structured budgets and financial narratives.

Key objectives include ensuring robust financial design at proposal stage, effective financial oversight during delivery, and strong compliance and audit readiness across the portfolio. The role also contributes to financial risk management, supports contract negotiations and amendments, and provides technical advice and capacity strengthening to colleagues and partners. Strong budgeting capability, experience with institutional and corporate proposals, and the ability to work confidently with commercial contracts are central to success in this role.

The Role

Following a recent departmental restructure, we’re entering an exciting period for the content team. This shift in the team structure highlights our commitment to making best in sector content – all in the name of our mission; to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and accurately in young people.

We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Content who will be responsible for delivering our holistic content strategy over the next year. You’ll oversee the management, production and strategic placement of all organic content across CoppaFeel!’s channels, and in-house paid campaign activations. You’ll help shape CoppaFeel!’s approach to content so that it appeals, resonates with and converts our key audience of 18–24 year olds, as well as our supplementary audiences, across website, email and social channels.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing and alongside other Heads of Dept, bringing your expertise and knowledge to leadership discussions to help shape the future of the organisation. You’ll report to the Marketing Director and will line manage the Social Media Manager, Content Manager, and Web and Email Manager, and will have exposure to the Senior Management Team.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You’ll be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, but we’ll provide plenty of notice for when you’re required to be in for these purposes.

This is a fixed term role for 8 months.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work as a valued part of the CoppaFeel! leadership team to deliver the organisational strategy, shape the culture and influence cross departmental ways of working.

• Deliver the holistic content strategy across digital and social channels (including website, email, search, social, and content creators) that will enhance the annual marketing strategy and drive awareness of CoppaFeel! and our mission amongst 18–24 year olds.

• Responsible for overseeing a team creating and producing innovative content that’s insight driven and market leading.

• Oversee production plans delivering our year round ‘always on’ organic content (web, email, social).

• Lead and inspire creativity across the organisation with a view to becoming social first in everything we do.

• Work with the Web and Email Manager, Content Manager, and Social Media Manager to develop and deliver a content optimisation test and learn programme.

• Work with the Web and Email Manager to optimise CoppaFeel!’s website and third party agencies to research, plan and execute Search Engine Optimisation and paid search strategies.

• Work with the Web and Email Manager to develop and deliver the annual website and email content plan, including an optimisation plan.

• Work with the Social Media Manager to produce social first content year round, in line with the social media and content strategy.

• Work with the Content Manager to produce best in class long form content and content creator partnerships.

• Oversee in house paid social media campaigns, primarily on Meta, with support from the Social Media Manager. Deliver training to the Social Media Manager to help them work towards activating these independently.

• Oversee delivery of workflow processes for managing the content lifecycle, including producing, distributing, measuring, and retiring content.

• Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice.

• Oversee capacity of the Content Team.

• Line manage the Content Manager, Social Media Manager and Web and Email Manager.

• Ownership of the Content Team budget and quarterly re-forecasting.

• Contribute to quarterly all staff team meetings.

• Ensure rigorous reporting and analysis of social and digital activity to ensure delivery of planned KPIs, with an ambition to be constantly improving and evolving.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• Minimum 5 year’s experience working in a management-level, content-focused role, for example a Content/Creative Lead, Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Senior Content Manager, Head of Digital Marketing or Head of Content/Creative.

• Demonstrable experience in managing and prioritising cross departmental content requests.

• Demonstrable experience of implementing strategic content plans.

• Demonstrable experience of producing creative content across a wide variety of formats.

• Demonstrable experience with activating paid social campaigns.

• A leader with the ability to develop and motivate a multidisciplinary team to achieve high standards.

• The ability to build relationships with and manage senior stakeholders’ expectations and cross departmental content requests.

• Demonstrable experience of reaching and converting 18–24 year olds (our target audience) via engaging content with a focus on Instagram and Tik Tok.

This is an exciting and varied role will be providing a key role in developing and increasing income, donor acquisition and engagement across SSCH’s Individual Giving fundraising programme, including legacies. The post will work to maximise potential and develop both new and existing donors, through targeted donor development campaigns, supporter acquisition and retention programmes.

The post holder will work flexibly across the Individual Giving income streams including individual donations, campaigns, gifts in memory and legacies. As part of this, a key responsibility will be the relationship management and support to any of our supported families who choose to fundraise for SSCH. This role will also support with legacy administration.

This is a senior, high-impact fundraising role with real scope. As our Senior Community & Events Manager, you’ll be:

· Leading the strategy, delivery and growth of all community fundraising and events

• Lead CoppaFeel!’s content creator work. This includes developing and implementing influencer marketing strategies that drive awareness, reach and engagement among our target audiences.

• Build and nurture relationships with influencers, ambassadors and creators, ensuring collaborations are authentic and on-brand.

• Develop and deliver compelling, youth-focused content across multiple channels, including social media (TikTok, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube, Facebook), email, and web.
