Reporting to: Corporate Partnerships Manager

Location of work: London-based with at least three days per week required at Deutsche Bank’s London Office. Beyond partner requirements, Magic Breakfast has a hybrid approach including working from home and occasional meetings at the charity’s London office. The role may also involve some occasional travel throughout England and Scotland including to Deutsche Bank’s Birmingham office. 

Contract type: Ideally full-time, 35 hours per week, although part time / flexible hours may be considered. The role may require occasional evening and weekend work

Contract Length: This is a fixed term contract starting ASAP until 31st January 2028.

Salary: £31,500

 BACKGROUND

Magic Breakfast’s mission is to end child morning hunger in the UK now and for good. The latest research suggests that 2.7 million children are at risk of hunger, meaning one in five children don’t have enough to eat. When a child is too hungry to learn, they struggle to concentrate, absorb information, and manage their emotions, causing them to fall behind in their studies.

Magic Breakfast provides a nutritious breakfast to over 300,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target children most in need without barrier or stigma.

JOB PURPOSE

Magic Breakfast has a motivated and high performing Corporate Partnerships team which was recently successful in securing a transformational partnership with Deutsche Bank, beginning in January 2026. We are now seeking a Corporate Partnerships Executive to support the Corporate Partnerships Manager who will together be dedicated to supporting that partnership over the next two years.

Background on the partnership:

Deutsche Bank’s UK Charity of the Year programme is a two-year partnership with Magic Breakfast beginning January 2026 with an ambition of raising £2m over that time. The partnership will be significant for the charity. Going beyond fundraising, the company aims to unlock further value by helping to build the charity’s capacity and provide access to in-house resources and expertise. Through their partnership with Magic Breakfast, Deutsche Bank is committed to enabling young people to develop life skills and emotional resilience whilst promoting social and economic equality for young people. The partnership also has the potential ensure a legacy beyond the 24-month partnership.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will work with a Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver one of the charity’s largest, most high-profile and multi-faceted partnerships to date. Together you will work closely with colleagues in the Corporate Partnerships Team and across the organisation, to maximise potential of this transformational partnership.

In addition, you will collaborate closely with the CSR Team at Deutsche Bank and their wider employee network.

In addition, you will be expected to support other corporate partnerships and collaborate with the wider fundraising team to deliver projects and implement processes that support Magic Breakfast’s Fundraising & Development team in achieving its income targets and wider success.

Partnership management:

• Work with the Partnerships Manager to produce compelling and timely reports for the funder.
• Work with the Partnerships Manager and Volunteering Executive to develop and coordinate a volunteering programme for Deutsche Bank’s workforce.
• Engage Deutsche Bank’s workforce through webinars, school visits and employee fundraising activity and campaigns, helping to build recognition of Magic Breakfast.
• Represent Magic Breakfast at events hosted by Deutsche Bank and brief other Magic Breakfast representatives when required.

Internal working:

•  Work with the Partnerships Manager to create a partnership development plan to maximise the potential of Deutsche Bank.
• Work collaboratively with the Corporate Partnerships Team and Fundraising & Development Team to support broader departmental and organisational goals.
• Support growth by proactively identifying introductions to new prospects, whether corporate contacts or philanthropists.
• Work closely with all departments where relevant across Magic Breakfast to maximise the potential of the partnership in delivering the charity’s 2025-2028 Business Plan.
• Engage with Service Delivery team to enable school visits and volunteering opportunities to engage Deutsche Bank employees.
• Engage with the Brand and Marketing team to ensure that partnership comms and PR opportunities are optimised.
• Take part in organisation-wide working groups and projects to support the charity’s strategic goals and initiatives.

Planning, reporting and due diligence:

• Maintain accurate financial forecasting including updating monthly records.
• Ensure that Deutsche Bank and any third parties that work with Magic Breakfast  as a result of the partnership adhere to our ethical fundraising policy, and flag any risks upwards for resolution if necessary.
• Ensure all partnership activity is carried out in line with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice, and that key documents such as partner contracts are saved on Salesforce.
• Taking an active role in delivering and evaluating progress against the charity’s three year business plan, Fundraising strategy and as well as Corporate Partnerships team objectives and KPIs.
• Inform and support the development of the Fundraising and Development Team budget with understanding and oversight of the charity’s overall budget and accounts.
• Effectively support the day-to-day financial management of the team.
• Take responsibility for the operationalisation of Magic Breakfast’s policies and practice in relation to safeguarding, risk management, and GDPR across the team.

General:

• Contribute to team meetings, sharing ideas, best practice and supporting team members where necessary.
• Help to maintain a positive working environment, keeping the vision of Magic Breakfast and our values at the heart of everything we do.
• Uphold a culture that keeps children and young people at the heart and encourages openness, collaboration, bravery, compassion and a solutions-focussed approach
• Work collaboratively across the organisation more widely to build good working relations and provide ad-hoc support to other teams and members of staff.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge and Experience

• Up to date with corporate fundraising landscape, particularly the financial services sector.
• Some experience of delivering corporate/charity partnerships within the charity or corporate sector. (desirable)
• Understanding of the importance of due diligence in the charity sector to ensure that all partners meet our ethical fundraising criteria.
• Experience in planning and delivering events for external stakeholders.
• Experience of income forecasting and reporting.

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
• Proven success of good stakeholder relationship-building and management (both internally and externally), with the ability collaborate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• Outstanding time management and organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously managing a varied workload and work under pressure to deadlines.
•  A collaborative team player with the confidence to effectively contribute remotely across teams and departments and inspire others.
• High level of competency in the use of Microsoft Office packages and experience of using a fundraising database Salesforce or similar CRM for relationship management and income forecasting purposes.
• Experience of using Asana (desirable).

You will oversee the day-to-day creation, delivery and scheduling of Soccer Aid for UNICEF cause and fundraising content across UNICEF UK and Soccer Aid social media channels. You will work with the Head of Organic Social Media, the Senior Content Manager and internal and external stakeholders to generate ideas, develop briefs, and support the production of social media assets that align with Soccer Aid for UNICEF’s fundraising and cause objectives and social media expertise.

To be successful in this role you will need significant experience in developing and delivering social media strategies for campaigns that drive engagement and action across a range of platforms, with a strong understanding of how to optimise these channels to achieve objectives.

The time commitment will be approximately 2 to 4 panel sessions per year as Vice Chair with a payment rate of £400 per panel, and 4 to 5 sessions as a Panel Member with a payment rate of £200 per panel, plus reasonable expenses incurred. PACT is one of the UK’s leading independent adoption charities, placing children with secure and loving families and supporting them with specialist therapeutic support.

Our external Adoption Panel Members play a vital role at PACT by carefully considering applications from those wishing to become adoptive parents. We are currently seeking an independent Adoption Panel Member who can also act in the capacity of Adoption Panel Vice Chair when required, to ensure our panel makes fair, informed recommendation outcomes to a high quality standard. You will bring an understanding of the adoption process, gained from professional or personal experience, and will be competently skilled in chairing complex meetings. About the Bristol Men’s Crisis House

The Bristol Men’s Crisis House is a warm and supportive 10-bed home based at Bradford Lodge in Avonmouth. We’re here for men who have recently been through a mental health crisis—whether they’ve just left hospital or are finding it difficult to stay safe where they currently live. Our house offers a calm, safe environment where residents can take time to stabilise and focus on their wellbeing. We provide therapeutic support to help each person feel ready and confident to return home. Stays are usually up to 10 days, although men who are of no fixed abode (NFA) may stay a little longer if needed.

• We’re a non-CQC registered service.
• Our team is here day and night, 24/7, every day of the year.
• The service is run by Rethink Mental Illness, working closely with AWP, who handle all referrals through their Crisis Teams.

How you will make a difference:

Staffing, Leadership & Oversight

· I will ensure that staff have the correct guidance and support to fulfil their roles and will ensure that a monthly 24/7 rota ensures enough staffing capacity to deliver effective support.

Quality of Support & Environment

· I will ensure that a high standard of support is embedded within the service and will promote and support an inclusive environment.

· I will ensure that high quality support planning, risk management, outcomes measurements are in place for all residents in the service at all times.

Referrals & Risk Management

· I will review all referrals into the service and ensure these are appropriate for the service remit and that risks are manageable during the residents stay. I will ensure that all referral documentation is received.

Partnership & Multi-Agency Working

· I will work closely with AWP Crisis Teams and ensure highly effective working relationships are in place at a management and front line level to ensure the crisis house provides the right standard of support to residents using a multi-agency approach.

Activities & Resident Engagement

· I will ensure activities offered to residents in the house and externally are varied and meet residents needs and demand and are within agreed budgets.

Incident Management & Learning

· I will manage and review all incidents and severe untoward incidents that occur at the crisis house ensuring that learning is adopted and shared as needed with AWP and the commissioners. I will support joint investigations with AWP where relevant following the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).

Essential skills and experience required:

· Recognised housing related qualification or equivalent relevant housing experience

· Experience in a comparable role of management, preferably in housing, social services, residential care or supported housing.

· Experience and knowledge of enhanced housing benefit, housing management, related legislation, letting procedures and Local Authority guidelines

· Ability to identify support goals and evaluate progress.

· Knowledge of risk assessments and ability to identify potential risks and how to manage risks.

· Understanding of housing management, law, policy and best practice

· Ability to motivate people and achieve positive outcomes

· Ability to communicate effectively at different levels

· Knowledge of housing needs / barriers faced by people who experience mental ill health. 

· Excellent communication and literacy skills, able to produce clear, concise reports, correspondence and notes

We are seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking professional to help drive the implementation, integration and ongoing support of a wide range of platforms across the organisation.  You will work with key systems including our Enterprise Management Systems (Access Group) and Microsoft technologies such as Windows 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Copilot, Azure, Intune and the Microsoft 365 client suite.  You will also collaborate with third-party partners to develop and maintain interfaces with cloud-based platforms including Beacon CRM, Cascade HR, and AdvicePro.  Experience in developing Power Apps – or similar mainstream app development tools – would be advantageous.

Support will focus on resilience, environmental impact, readiness for AI and digital technology, enabling participating charities to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world. Universify exists to create a fairer, more equal society where every young person can fulfil their potential regardless of their background. We equip young people from low socio-economic and underrepresented backgrounds with the skills, knowledge, and belief to fulfil their potential through education.

We work primarily with Year 10-11 students (aged 14-16) to increase their aspirations, improve GCSE attainment and to gain a greater understanding of post-18 pathways, particularly university, to make a more informed decision about their future. To achieve our aims, we currently run two year-long programmes. Our main Oxford programme includes a week-long residential in summer of Year 10, a 3-day GCSE-focused revision residential in the spring of Year 11, and regular online coaching. Our Step Ahead Bristol programme consists of a calendar of day visits in Bristol and Oxford in Year 10 and 11 and regular online coaching.

As the Programme Coordinator, you will work within the programme team to co-ordinate and deliver our national programme and communities programme for over 100 participants. You will also support the planning and oversight of our activities for partner-led programmes.

We’re looking for a hands-on Lead IT infrastructure engineer to take ownership of our IT infrastructure and play a pivotal role in our migration from on-premises to Microsoft Azure.

Job Purpose

The finance team is a core part of our Operations Directorate, and although we’re a small team we have a huge impact on the effectiveness of our organisation. The team provides support and guidance to all staff members on how to process invoices, expenses, and generally manage their budgets effectively. The main purpose of the Finance Officer role is to provide key support to the finance team with our finance processes, supporting staff members across the organisation, helping with any queries on a day-to-day basis, as well as supporting our members and suppliers with queries. Purchase Ledger 

• Receive all supplier invoices (including member expenses), checking correct finance codes with relevant nominal, department, project, VAT and fund codes are on all invoices, and that the necessary authorisation is present

Our broad portfolio rivals that of a medium-sized pharmaceutical company, spanning antibodies, cell therapies, vaccines, drug conjugates and small molecules, making this an interesting and dynamic area to work in.

As a Medical Writer you'll be providing broad medical writing expertise for the production of clinical study reports, investigator brochures and other clinical/scientific reports for CDD's early phase oncology trials. As well as acting as lead author on your assigned projects and performing quality control review of documents produced by other Medical Writers, you will be fully embedded within a multidisciplinary, cross functional project team along with other CDD departments. Collaboration is essential, as well as the ability to work strategically within an evolving environment.

Unfortunately, this role is not suitable for anyone who only has experience in medical writing for pharmacovigilance or medical devices or anyone who only has medical writing experience within science comms. You must come with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical trial documents e.g. investigator brochures, clinical study reports and posting of clinical trial summary results. This is a great opportunity for a current Regulatory Medical Writer looking to move into a more purpose driven environment or to gain valuable experience withing phase 1 oncology trials. What will I be doing?

• Writing, editing, reviewing and quality control of documents for the timely production of clinical study reports and investigator brochures.

• Managing the preparation of clinical study reports by building consensus with the project teams on report requirements, responsibilities for delivery of data and production timelines, and participating in the preparation and review of summary clinical trial results and other disclosures as required.

• Managing the scheduling, preparation and updating of investigator brochure packages in use in CDD-sponsored trials, ensuring review at least annually in line with current regulations.

• Liaising with the project team to complete project-specific tasks including review of protocols, Trial Master Files, data (including expert reports), and analytical plans.

What are you looking for?

• Proven experience in medical / medical sciences writing. This should include significant experience in regulatory medical writing or a mix of experience in regulatory medical writing plus substantial relevant experience in a related role in clinical trials, pharmacovigilance or medical writing.

• Science graduate or equivalent experience of scientific writing.

• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical trial documents e.g. investigator brochures, clinical study reports and posting of clinical trial summary results.

• Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.

• Confident communication skills and able to foster strong working relationships both internally and externally.

• Project Management skills

• Experience within early phase oncology trials is desirable but not essential (*Please do still apply even if you don't have this*)

• Experience within AI medical writing tools is beneficial
