The Trusts and Foundations Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate, and London Youth as a whole. In line with our fundraising strategy, you will be responsible for securing new five and six-figure corporate partnerships, achieving ambitious personal targets and contributing to our overall fundraising target of £6.9m in 2026. Your focus will be on high-value long-term strategic relationships with businesses generating both restricted and unrestricted funds as well as other non-financial benefits.

What you will be doing

• Develop and maintain an exemplary understanding of the needs of young people and youth organisations in London.
• Proactively communicate the vision and mission, aims and work of London Youth to funders.
• Undertake prospect research to identify new funding opportunities that increase restricted and unrestricted income.
• Collaborate with teams from across London Youth to develop and submit high quality five and six figure applications to trusts, foundations, institutional funders, and livery companies.
• Work with colleagues to find ways to increase income from existing funders. 
• Meet all KPIs and financial targets. 
• Provide first class stewardship to funders. 
• Maintain up-to-date records on all aspects of fundraising activity on Salesforce and SharePoint and produce regular reports/reports when needed. 
• Ensure agreements are in place with all funders and are recorded in line with our processes.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Track record of leading and securing five and six figure funding relationships with trusts, foundations, institutional funders, and livery companies.

We're looking for two Events & Marketing Assistants to join our small, busy team at Portsmouth Cathedral. It's a varied, practical role that sits right at the heart of our commercial operations - coordinating venue hire bookings, setting up for evening concerts, supporting licensed events, and everything in between. Alongside this supporting the marketing for our events and the wider organisation as a whole.

No two weeks look quite the same, and roughly half the role takes place during evenings and weekends. The pattern of hours will vary week to week in line with the Cathedral's events programme. In weeks where no events are scheduled, the postholders will work standard office hours.  There are two posts available with a proposal to work three days each of 21 hours.

Job purpose:

The Ipswich Project Manager is the primary people and operational leader for delivery staff within the Ipswich Social Action team, part of the wider social action portfolio at Volunteering Matters. The role is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of social action programmes in the Ipswich area that enable individuals and communities to speak up, influence change, and take collective action on issues that matter to them. 

This is a time limited role with a strong emphasis on establishing new project delivery and maintaining and developing existing delivery and practice within the team. This will involve building a clear understanding of new and existing delivery models, supporting the integration of staff and projects into the new programme delivery, and identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities to develop further prospective delivery going forward. A key part of the role will be identifying opportunities to integrate all local activity into the#iwill Movement Town of Social Action work, and maximising opportunities to develop social action across all age groups. The postholder will also work closely with local funders and delivery partners to ensure they are fully engaged and involved in local program planning and delivery.

The role does not hold direct budget responsibility or lead a single programme. Instead, it provides strong people management, operational oversight, task management, and compliance leadership, alongside generating insight and recommendations to shape the future development of social action across the Town of Social Action.

A well-established UK charity is looking for a Supporter Database Officer to join their team on a short term basis. This is a hands on role focused on data imports, income processing and maintaining the accuracy of a high volume CRM system.

We’re seeking a Financial Accountant to join our great Finance team! 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to showcase their leadership and analytical skills and play a key role within our Finance, People and Operations team as we grow.

You will be proficient in month end accounting and managing your time and a team of 1 to enable the Finance Business Partner to have visibility of finance performance with 5 working days post the end of the month.

You will play a critical role in supporting colleagues across the organisation to understand the financial position of the charity and its activities and ensure that our controls and compliance are always upheld. 

About You 

• The ideal candidate will need to collaborate and communicate effectively to help us deliver our mission and vision. You will be used to working effectively and efficiently and provide accurate financial performance in a timely manner.  
• Have financial qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/ACA finalist).
• You will have knowledge and experience of the type of things that are required of an audit and be able to produce back up to explain any balances in the ledgers. 
• You will have strong reconciliation skills and financial intelligence to understand when things are different to what is expecting and provide explanation of variances.

As Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the charity’s financial operations, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. Somewhere Safe to Stay, West London collaborates with seven West London boroughs' local authorities and outreach teams. Our team uses their expert knowledge, learning, and proven success to provide rapid response and intervention, ensuring no one has to sleep rough and helping our clients find their next long-term, stable home.

We are currently looking for a Night Reconnection Assistant to join our team, this role will:

• Work as part of a busy team environment working closely with those affected by rough sleeping. 

• Provide a safe and supportive environment at night to clients; and support a team of Assessment and Reconnection Workers, with key tasks, such as implementing reconnection or assessment plans and supporting clients in to appropriate accommodation.  

• Work a 2 weekly rota pattern (Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
   / Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri) 12.5 hour shifts.
   

About you

This role would be great for someone with an interest in developing key skills to build a career supporting people experiencing homelessness. The Operations Officer is a pivotal member of the team who will support the organisation to run its activities efficiently and effectively. As part of a small team, you will work collaboratively with most of the charity’s functions but in particular provide regular support to the SMT, finance, HR and fundraising teams.

- First Step Resource Management Programmes focus on a whole system approach to divert waste from landfill supporting community behaviour change, basic infrastructure, collector group training and end market development.

Purpose of Role

The Operations Officer is a varied role that helps keep the charity’s different functions running smoothly. Working closely with a small team a typical day can be a combination of regular tasks involving prompt and careful handling of incoming communications by email, post and telephone call, responding to invoices or payment requests and preparation of letters, contracts or reports. Other tasks such as recruitment support, staff onboarding, events and travel planning are less routine but may be part of your day as and when they occur.

Team co-ordinating

· Manage calendars and appointments, scheduling team meetings, appointments and events.

· Co-ordinate travel plans including booking transport, accommodation and supporting visa application processes.

· Attend quarterly Board meetings, taking minutes.

· Assist in the preparation and distribution of Board materials.

· Track charity assets and equipment, liaising with outsourced IT support as necessary.

HR Support

· Lead on fulfilment of recruitment campaigns, organising the recruitment pack, placing job adverts, handling applications, arranging interviews and tests.

· Issue contracts, contract variations, ensure signed records and references are filed.

· Prepare the induction of new joiners including introductory meetings and issuing equipment.
