The Nook, Greenwich is a peer support project aiming to provide a safe and welcoming space for young people living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich (or those who have a GP within the borough) to connect with other young adults who have experienced mental health challenges. 

We are recruiting a sessional Young Person's Peer Support Worker to co-lead the development and delivery of The Nook alongside our Peer Support Coordinator and a team of volunteers.

You will work with Peer Support Volunteers to plan and co-facilitate the groups in line with service user needs. You will have experience of group development, psychoeducation, collaborative working across service teams and an excellent understanding of service user engagement particularly with young people. You will be highly organised and be proficient with case management tasks and project management administration and take an active role in creating partnerships. 

Groups will be held at the University of Greenwich premises and will run every week until March 2027, with hope of an extension of contract. We particularly want to increase engagement of under-served communities in Greenwich.

Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.

NST Regional Safeguarding Leads are members of the National Safeguarding Team (NST), working to support safeguarding practice in dioceses and cathedrals across the Church of England. This post will be responsible for the North West region, covering the dioceses of Manchester, Liverpool, Carlisle, Sodor & Man, Blackburn & Chester.

This post supports the development of best safeguarding practice in the North West regional cluster of Diocesan Boards of Finance (DBFs) and cathedrals.

The Regional Safeguarding Lead (RSL) provides professional supervision and quality assurance to Safeguarding Officers working in DBFs and cathedrals in their region. The RSL supports the ongoing implementation of the National Safeguarding Standards to encourage consistency of practice and support Church bodies to respond to the findings of the Independent Safeguarding Audit Programme.

The RSL will continue to embed the North West Regional Safeguarding Networks, facilitating the sharing of best practice and resources, group supervision, and the commissioning of joint initiatives between Church bodies.

The RSL is required to work closely with senior managers, senior clergy and other stakeholders in these bodies, representing the NST at the local level. The RSLs work closely as a team and with other colleagues in the NST to ensure Church wide consistency in approach.

Our partnership combines specialist money and debt advice, welfare benefits advice, housing support, homelessness prevention, trauma-informed practice and financial education to provide holistic support for people experiencing financial hardship. Rather than asking people to navigate multiple services, we work together to ensure they receive the right support at the right time, through a coordinated 'No Wrong Door' approach. 

The Crisis & Resilience Fund Team Leader will lead the delivery of the Exeter Crisis & Resilience Service, providing operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred support to residents experiencing financial hardship, crisis and multiple disadvantage. The postholder will line manage Navigate's Client Liaison Officers and the Money Advice Caseworkers employed by partners Churches Housing Action Team (CHAT) and Encompass Southwest to ensure a seamless, coordinated service that supports individuals from immediate financial crisis through to long term resilience. As Navigate's operational lead for the contract, the Team Leader will foster strong partnership working, maintain effective communication across organisations and ensure clients experience a consistent 'No Wrong Door' approach. Alongside leadership responsibilities, the postholder will manage a small caseload of complex clients, delivering FCA-regulated debt advice, welfare benefits advice, advocacy and holistic financial resilience support. The Team Leader will champion Wis£rmoney’s relationship-based, trauma-informed approach, recognising that financial hardship rarely exists in isolation. Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Service Management

Working as part of the Exeter Crisis & Resilience Fund partnership, you will manage a caseload of clients experiencing complex financial circumstances, providing FCA-regulated debt advice, welfare benefits advice, budgeting support, advocacy and practical assistance. Recognising that financial hardship rarely exists in isolation, you will work closely with housing providers, landlords, Exeter City Council and partner organisations to address the wider issues affecting people's financial wellbeing.

Using a relationship-based, person-centred approach, you will deliver outreach across Exeter through home visits, community venues and flexible methods of communication, ensuring vulnerable residents can access the support they need.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Specialist Money Advice and Casework

• Deliver person-centred money advice and holistic support to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, housing insecurity and complex needs.

3. Outreach, Engagement and Financial Resilience

• Deliver outreach across Exeter through home visits, community venues and other trusted locations to engage people who may struggle to access traditional advice services.
• Build trusted, professional relationships with clients, adapting communication and support to meet individual needs.
• Support the delivery of financial education sessions, including Navigate the Money Maze and other financial capability initiatives.

Job Purpose:

The Client Liaison Officers are the first point of contact for individuals referred into the Crisis & Resilience Service and play a vital role in ensuring people receive timely, compassionate and person-centred support. Acting as the gateway into the service, you will build trusted relationships from the very first contact, undertaking holistic assessments to understand not only an individual's financial situation but the wider circumstances affecting their wellbeing and resilience.

You will respond quickly to people experiencing financial hardship or crisis, helping to stabilise their immediate situation through income maximisation, welfare benefits advice, crisis planning and practical support. Working closely with partner organisations, you will ensure every client is connected to the right support at the right time through a coordinated 'no wrong door' approach. You will maintain regular contact with clients throughout their journey, preventing disengagement and ensuring individuals feel supported whilst awaiting ongoing casework. Through empathy, knowledge and flexibility you will remove barriers to engagement, helping clients prepare for specialist advice and supporting them to build the confidence and skills needed for long-term financial resilience.

The role combines triage, welfare benefits advice, crisis intervention, client engagement and case coordination to provide an accessible, responsive and trauma-informed service for some of the most vulnerable people in the community.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Client Engagement and Triage

· Act as the first point of contact for all referrals into the Crisis & Resilience Service.

· Contact new referrals promptly, normally within one working day wherever possible.

· Build positive, trusting relationships from the first interaction.

· Complete holistic needs assessments to understand each client's circumstances, priorities and support needs.

· Identify risks relating to homelessness, utility disconnection, enforcement action, safeguarding and financial crisis.

· Identifying priority debts.

· Negotiating with priority creditors where appropriate.

Aim to stabilise urgent situations within three working days wherever possible.

Job summary
This role is central to the Policy & Engagement Team. The postholder will support our impact and evaluation work across the organisation in line with our Theory of Change, producing quarterly reports, annual reports and briefings for the Board, Parliamentarians and grant funders. The Senior Email Channel Officer is a critical role and responsible for the end-to-end delivery of email and SMS communications, ensuring campaigns and automated journeys are planned, built, tested, and deployed on time.  Key Responsibilities:

 Campaign and Automation Journey Planning & Delivery

· Owning the end-to-end delivery of email and SMS campaigns, including planning, building and testing high-quality communications to support fundraising, supporter engagement and other organisational priorities such as newsletter updates, sporting, campaigning, and appeal actions.

· Advise and deliver automated email journeys that welcome, retain, steward and reactivate supporters, building performance knowledge and insight that can be replicated across different supporter products and journeys.

· Support the Email Channel Manager in the planning and prioritisation of the Email and SMS channel calendar, ensuring effective delivery of campaign activity.

· Work with data and CRM teams to improve trigger logic, personalisation and segmentation, using your audience understanding to incorporate targeting and personalisation using customer data and dynamic content logic.
