Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Stewardship Officer (Mid-value) to join our Individual Giving and Legacies team based in London.

Centrepoint helps vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. We provide homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills to get them back into education, training and employment. The Stewardship Officer (Mid-value) role sits within Centrepoint’s Stewardship Team in Individual Giving and Legacies (IGL). The IGL unit has grown significantly in recent years and is forecast to raise £24.7m in FY 2026/27. This role is core to the delivery of the IG Stewardship programme, supporting growth across Mid‑value Cash and Regular Giving audiences.

Working closely with the Senior Stewardship Officer (Mid-value), you will deliver a fundraising communications plan for mid-value donors, who give an annualised value of £1,000-£5,000 - including targeted appeals, inspiring updates and impact reports, as well as supporter events and online webinars. You will support efforts to drive forward stewardship journeys to deepen engagement, build long-term relationships and increase lifetime value.

Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts (including part-time or compressed contracts) this will be adjusted accordingly.

About you

• You’re an organised, detail‑oriented and target-driven direct marketer who enjoys managing multiple campaigns and seeing projects through from start to finish
• You’re collaborative, data‑driven and supporter‑focused, with a strong interest in building long‑term donor relationships

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering supporter‑centric, integrated campaigns for Mid‑value donors (£1,000–£5,000 annual value), including fundraising appeals, donor journeys, impact reports, events and online webinars
• Working closely with the Senior Stewardship Officer (Mid‑value) to deliver the Mid‑value fundraising communications plan, supporting growth across both MV Cash and Regular Giving audiences
• Acting as the day‑to‑day contact for creative, print and fulfilment agencies to deliver innovative, multi‑channel campaigns
• Monitoring budgets, schedules and approvals to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed KPIs
• Analysing campaign performance and using supporter insights to refine journeys and inform future plans across the Mid-value programme

What we’d be looking for from you…

• Experience delivering direct marketing fundraising campaigns across channels such as direct mail, email, telephone and digital
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage a variety of projects and activities to tight deadlines
• Strong people skills, along with the confidence to communicate with donors and ability to develop strong working relationships with external suppliers and internal departments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write engaging copy, also to proofread and critique drafts.
• Confidence in interpreting data and implementing insight to optimise fundraising appeals and stewardship communications.
• A commitment to supporter‑first fundraising, data protection, safeguarding and equal opportunities.

Reporting to the Transformation Cluster Leader, key responsibilities will include:

- Set the standards for change management activities across the Change Portfolio
- Establish, assure and continually improve the standards, playbooks, and tools needed to support robust change analysis, readiness, and adoption activities across the Portfolio
- Working with Project Managers and key SMEs to create and where necessary lead, actionable change management plans and approach for projects
- Work in partnership with the Change Communications Manager and Project Managers regarding change communication as part of the delivery of the case for change and change journey
- Lead work to deliver impact analysis and evaluation of the actual impact of changes

You will be expected to travel regularly in the course of your work including regularly to our London, Haig House, office. You will be contracted to your home address, where you will be expected to work when not travelling.

About The Role

This exciting role will lead on all aspects of the finance function, including managing managing the Finance & Systems Officer, overseeing the production of year-end accounts in collaboration with internal stakeholders and auditors, and preparing monthly management accounts for reports to the Senior managers and trustees. Responsibilities also include stewardship of the Foundation’s liquid assets, leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, verifying monthly payroll prepared by HR, and ensuring the efficient operation of the purchase ledger function.

What does the role involve?

• Coordinate across the Foundation and help prepare the annual statutory accounts and all schedules for audit and be the lead liaison with the auditors.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and budgets for review by senior management, providing analysis and other measures of performance.
• Lead on improving processes and systems across all aspects of finance and liaising with the wider organisation to drive these forward.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

• Up to date knowledge of charity financial legislation and best practice

- Manage grant applications from start to finish, making sure each stage runs smoothly and on time
- Be a friendly and reliable point of contact for applicants, answering questions and helping them submit strong proposals

- Prepare papers for funding panels, attend meetings and capture clear, accurate notes of what is discussed and agreed

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Conservation Evidence Officer to support the UK-wide Conservation Outcomes and Evidence Team by using research, monitoring, and evidence to guide conservation work.

The Role:

• Lead delivery of key Woodland Trust research and evidence projects and have input to projects and programmes across the Trust and the sector.
• Search, collate, review and synthesise evidence from the scientific and grey literature.
• Use and interpret evidence from a wide range of sources, including direct consultation with experts/stakeholders.
• Prepare manuscripts for publication to scientific peer-reviewed journals and grey literature.

• This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working, and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required no more than once a month on average. Occasional travel to other offices and locations may also be required.

The Candidate:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of UK conservation and environmental issues, particularly relating to native trees, woodlands, and associated wildlife.
• Experience in scientific publishing, grey literature, and science communication.
• Proficiency in statistical and spatial analysis software (R and ArcGIS is desirable).
• Experience working with applied scientific data, including designing and conducting research projects, and interpreting, analysing, and presenting findings with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to critically evaluate evidence and develop persuasive, evidence-based arguments for advocacy purposes.
• Degree in conservation, ecology, environmental or biological sciences; PhD desirable.
• Fieldwork experience is desirable.

About the Role:

As a Complex Lives Navigator, you’ll be on the front line of supporting people experiencing rough sleeping, delivering the Reach Out offer directly to individuals who may be disengaged from services. You’ll work proactively to reach some of the most vulnerable people in our community, providing specialist drug and alcohol support where it’s needed most.

You’ll be a key member of our established Rough Sleeper Outreach team, taking part in early‑morning outreach and acting as a trusted point of contact for people seeking support with substance misuse.

Working within the Reach Out (Waythrough) project, you’ll collaborate closely with partner teams to identify appropriate housing pathways, contribute to weekly Multi‑Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, attend specialist training, and access targeted interventions that support individuals with complex needs to achieve stability and long‑term recovery.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and implement person-centred support with individuals with complex needs.
• Recognise needs regarding substance misuse, mental health, domestic abuse, personality disorders and other psychological and behavioural issues.
• Establish supportive, trusting and professional relationships with service users using a Trauma Informed Approach.
• To maintain complete, accurate and up to date client records.

Job Purpose

The Head of Construction (Feasibility & Delivery) is a leadership and technical role responsible for the end-to-end development, delivery and stewardship of Habitat GB’s construction and property portfolio.

Key responsibilities include strategic planning and technical leadership for core aspects of Habitat GB’s domestic programme, such as the construction project pipeline associated with our Empty Spaces to Homes (ES2H) programme. The postholder will lead the feasibility, design, costing, procurement and delivery of demonstration construction projects, primarily the conversion of empty commercial and retail buildings into high-quality, affordable homes, while also ensuring the safe, compliant operation and maintenance of HFHGB-owned, leased and operated properties, including ReStore sites.

The Head of Construction (Feasibility & Delivery) is also responsible for the people management of staff, contractors and consultants and (where relevant) volunteers. Key areas of risk management that sit within the portfolio of this role include project and site health & safety, compliance and asset maintenance.

This role is central to translating Habitat GB’s mission and strategy into high-quality, buildable, scalable projects that maximise social impact.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Construction & Programme Delivery

• Lead the planning, design and delivery of Habitat GB’s demonstration construction projects within the ES2H programme.

• Contribute technical leadership to programme strategy, performance monitoring, evaluation and learning.

• Work collaboratively with other ES2H workstreams (Advocacy, Research, Scalability) to ensure projects inform and support wider systems change.

• Provide expert construction input into organisational decision-making, risk management, and strategy implementation.

Building Pipeline Development & Feasibility

• Lead the identification, assessment and prioritisation of potential conversion opportunities across Great Britain.
• Conduct frequent site visits to assess empty or underutilised commercial buildings.
• Undertake and/or oversee:
  • Building diagnostics and technical surveys
  • Early identification of structural, asbestos, planning, fire and compliance risks
  • Location-based risk profiling (logistics, supply chains, neighbourhood constraints)
• Act as the organisation’s technical authority on building viability and conversion risk.

Design, Specification & Cost Leadership

• Develop initial design concepts, spatial layouts and performance specifications that balance cost‑efficiency, compliance, buildability and the dignity of residents.
• Ensure all designs meet relevant statutory and organisational requirements, including:
  • UK Building Regulations
  • Fire safety and CDM 2015
  • Sustainability and environmental standards
• Provide client side cost leadership and quantity surveying oversight across projects, including:
  • Preparing feasibility cost models, early stage estimates and robust construction budgets
  • Assessing and benchmarking contractor quotations and negotiating best value outcomes aligned with charitable objectives
  • Maintaining effective cost control and financial visibility throughout delivery
• Lead the appointment and management of architects, planning consultants and specialist technical advisors as required.

Construction Delivery, Contractor & Site Management

• Identify, appoint and manage contractors, subcontractors and consultants on a project-by-project basis.
• Ensure projects are delivered: safely; to specification; on time and within approved budgets
• Combine on-site leadership with remote project management, using digital tools, dashboards and reporting systems.
• Maintain a national overview of live and pipeline projects, providing the Executive Team with clear, real-time updates on milestones, risks, spend and cashflow, and delivery confidence.

Health, Safety & Risk Management

• Be responsible for Health & Safety across Habitat GB’s construction and property portfolio.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, including CDM 2015.
• Oversee:
  • Risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
  • Training and inductions
  • Incident reporting and corrective actions
• Ensure a strong safety culture across construction sites and property sites, working closely with the Site & Property Maintenance Officer to delivery their responsibilities successfully and safely.
• Work with colleagues to ensure appropriate insurances are in place.

Financial Management & Reporting

· Own construction and maintenance budgets, ensuring strong financial control and value for money.

· Lead procurement processes for works, materials, and equipment.

· Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, cost tracking, and timely payment of invoices.

· Maintain robust project management tools, trackers, schedules, and cost sheets.

· Provide regular input into organisational performance reporting, risk registers, and assurance processes.

People Leadership & Culture

· Line-manage and support direct reports, setting clear objectives, and providing regular supervision and development.

· Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing, values-driven team and contractor network.

· Ensure good practice management of consultants, contractors and volunteers.

· Role model Habitat GB’s values, including commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Person profile:

· Extensive experience in UK construction project management, particularly refurbishment and conversion projects, with responsibility spanning early feasibility through to delivery.

· Strong technical understanding of:

• UK Building Regulations and fire safety requirements

• Permitted Development rights and planning constraints

• Health & Safety management, including CDM 2015

· Strong client‑side commercial judgement, with proven ability to develop feasibility cost models, set and manage construction budgets, and maintain effective cost control across projects.

· Strong leadership and people management experience, including the ability to lead teams, contractors and consultants with credibility and clarity.

· Recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH or SMSTS).
