As a Project Worker within our Westminster Mental Health Accommodation Services or Wandsworth Properties, you’ll play a vital role in helping people find stability, confidence and a way forward. About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Advisor to join our fast-paced, supportive HR team at the Crick.

In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll be involved in a wide range of people activities, including employee relations casework, annual performance and pay reviews, delivery of management training, policy and process development, and people-focused projects that make a real impact across the Crick community.

You’ll support a diverse client group spanning research labs and operational teams, giving you broad exposure and the chance to build strong working relationships across the organisation. What you will be doing

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide general first-line HR support and advice covering all employee lifecycle activity to both employees and managers, working in partnership with People Partners, Senior People Advisors and People Coordinators where relevant
• Trusted advisor to managers and supporting with all people issues enabling them to find and implement the best approach to deal with an issue at hand e.g., performance, conduct, attendance.

• Provide primary support and advice to hiring managers on recruitment activity, including salary benchmarking, interviewing and support with writing job descriptions

About you

You will have: 

• Proven experience of providing HR advice to managers and employees
• Strong understanding and knowledge of the HR support required when running employee relations cases, in particular absence management, performance management and disciplinary *
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR policies and best practices
• Experience of providing advice and an end-to-end service on maternity leave and other family-friendly leave *
• Ability to work under pressure while balancing timely work output with high levels of accuracy, demonstrating excellent attention to detail *

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mass Participation team, helping to coordinate a portfolio of virtual events expected to raise over £4.7 million and bring in over 34,000 participants to the charity in the next financial year. As a Mass Participation Executive, you will be responsible for the end to end management of our month-long virtual challenges, delivering marketing plans in collaboration with agency support and stewarding supporters to ensure engagement and participation. About the role

This role is an opportunity to support and shape a major programme of research on how to deliver more innovative health care for patients and the public. You will work alongside our subject matter experts to provide effective project support and organisation for this research.

We are looking for a project officer to provide the day to day business and project support to work across a range of projects but including an exciting new multi-year partnership exploring how innovation can be harnessed to support the health and care system towards delivering care closer to where people live.

You will act as the main point of contact for project participants and research contacts, organise events and activities and support the day to day financial management of projects, reforecasting budgets and setting up timelines. Luton Town FC Community Trust is seeking to recruit an Oral Health Project Officer. This is a full-time role focused on the delivery of an oral health education programme within targeted primary schools and community settings in Luton over 37.5 hours per week. The individual will be employed on a three-year fixed-term contract.

Tooth decay rates in children, in Luton, are amongst the highest in the country. The project will work collaboratively with Luton Public Health and other locally focused oral health partners as a collective force for change.

AIMS

• Create awareness and lifelong habits of the importance of good oral health.
• Supporting children and families to understand contributing factors to poor oral health, including sharing public health messages that encourage positive behaviour change.
• Delivery of an outstanding programme of content.
• Support and strengthen the wider network of oral health partners to enable coordinated action and long-term behaviour change, including active participation in the Luton Dental Alliance.
• Highlighting demonstrable impact to support the sustainability and legacy of the project beyond the initial funding period.

• Work with partners to develop and design the educational element of the project.

About Us

At Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) we champion animal welfare around the world. We send vets where they are needed most, provide expert veterinary training in hard-to-reach places, and ship urgent aid supplies worldwide, every day of the year.

We deploy teams of vets and vet nurses, send equipment and supplies to help struggling organisations on the front line of animal welfare, and train vets at our international training centres in India, Thailand, Malawi and the Galápagos Islands.  We also work on strategic one health projects such as rabies elimination campaigns with Governments and NGOs all over the world. Our Mission Rabies project runs mass canine vaccination and community education in the world’s worst hotspots for the disease.
