JOB PURPOSE

To coordinate Dudley Lodge's impact reporting, fundraising support and business development activities across the organisation.

The postholder will support income generation by identifying funding opportunities, maintaining funding pipelines, coordinating fundraising activity, supporting funding applications and helping Dudley Lodge evidence and communicate the impact of its work to commissioners, funders, donors and stakeholders.

Working closely with the Head of Support Services, Head of Operations and Service Leads, the postholder will collect, collate and report impact and outcomes information, support fundraising and business development activities and contribute to the organisation's sustainability and growth.

Impact Reporting and Communications

• Coordinate systems for collecting, recording and reporting impact, outcomes and stakeholder feedback data across Dudley Lodge services.
• Work with Heads of Service and Service Leads to gather feedback, case studies, testimonials and other evidence of service delivery, outcomes and organisational impact.
• Coordinate feedback collection from service users, parents, family members, professionals, commissioners and stakeholders.
• Produce impact summaries, dashboards and data reports for internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate the development of Dudley Lodge's assessment and Support Services' annual impact reports.
• Support the development of systems to collect and report information relating to longer-term outcomes for families.
• Ensure impact information is accurate, accessible and available to support reporting, funding applications and service development activities.
• Support the preparation of commissioner updates, funder reports, stakeholder briefings and annual impact publications.
• Gather, collate and present information, data, case studies and outcomes to support organisational reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Prepare draft reports, updates and communications for review by Heads of Service and Service Leads.
• Coordinate the production and distribution of approved reports, updates and communications.
• Support the dissemination of impact reports, funding updates and organisational achievements.

Fundraising and Income Generation

• Support the organisation to achieve fundraising and income generation targets.
• Research and monitor trusts, foundations, corporate, statutory and tender opportunities, maintaining accurate records of prospective funders, deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Maintain an up-to-date funding pipeline and funding calendar.
• Gather and coordinate evidence, data and supporting information required for grant applications, tenders, expressions of interest and funding reports.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of funding applications and tender responses.
• Coordinate fundraising appeals and donor engagement activities.
• Draft and distribute appeal letters, donor updates and stewardship communications.
• Support funder reporting and grant monitoring requirements.
• Monitor emerging funding opportunities and sector developments and share opportunities with relevant managers.

Systems and Administration

• Maintain accurate fundraising, impact and stakeholder engagement records.
• Support the development and maintenance of databases and reporting systems.
• Coordinate surveys, consultations and feedback exercises.
• Produce regular reports to support management, governance and business development activities.
• Ensure information is recorded, stored and managed in accordance with GDPR and organisational policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiency across impact data collection and reporting, fundraising and stakeholder reporting activities.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade and purpose of the role, as reasonably required by the Line Manager or to meet the needs of the organisation.

About the Role

As an Independent Victim Advocate you will be ensuring the provision of individual structured, tailored support plans, based on a holistic assessment of impact and risk, within the framework of VS's Service Model. You may make initial contact with victims of crime, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues, in order to provide on-going support and case management.

You will develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime, who accept ongoing support. Support will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users. In order to:

• support those affected by crime in understanding and asserting their rights and entitlements
• understand their journey through the criminal justice and legal systems including the Victims Code of Practice
• facilitate access to additional services
• establish healthy coping mechanisms
• provide practical support and information

You will directly support service users, who may be affected by all types of crime. You may work within a specialist area, for example concentrating on one crime type, or a certain demographic of victims.

You may, in some services, be responsible for elements of volunteer management. This may include the development and case management oversight of a cohort of volunteers who will contribute to the service, in line with VS's policies and volunteering ethos and approach.

About the role:

We are looking for an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA). This is a full time role on fixed term contract until 31/03/2027. The aim of this role is to support victims of domestic abuse, who are inpatients or outpatients of Bedford Hospital. This role will be part of our other wider specialist services covering Bedfordshire.

As an IDVA you will be:

• Working closely with the safeguarding team and a range of other hospital departments
• Providing a high quality support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse.
• Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service trough individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.
• Working within a multi-agency framework consisting of partners as well as MARAC and other local partnerships to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
• Promoting the service and raise awareness of domestic abuse through the delivery of training

You will need:

• Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of domestic abuse is advantageous
• To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
• To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting.

We are recruiting an Advocate Educator to work closely with GP practices in Croydon borough.IRIS is a domestic abuse training, support and referral programme developed specifically for general practice.You will promote the IRIS programme and offer DVA training to GP practice staff, as well as providing one-to-one emotional and practical support to a caseload of clients experiencing domestic abuse. The successful applicant will have:

What You’ll Do 

1. Conduct thorough prospect research across NHS BHRUT procurement suppliers, local businesses and priority sectors to build a strong and accurate pipeline of prospective corporate and community partners in our new CRM, Beacon.

2. Create a corporate partnership fundraising deck for prospects that brings to life all the ways businesses can get involved, from social value opportunities, do your own fundraising and challenge events, sponsorship opportunities, to volunteering and in-kind support. This will need to be compelling and can be tailored for NHS procurement suppliers and aligned to the charity’s strategic goals.

3. Develop a corporate volunteering opportunities deck, ready to share with prospective and current partners. 

4. Identify key stakeholders within target prospect organisations and make proactive outreach to arrange prospect meetings between corporate contacts and the Head of Fundraising, to support the charity’s income growth ambitions.

AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.

Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England, Wales and Northern Ireland with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.

AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands we are looking for a specialist Advocate for Scotland. Although home based, some travel will be required - frequency will be commensurate to the role. We welcome applications from candidates with experience of domestic abuse. Our Specialist Advocates support families impacted by fatal domestic abuse through provision of lay advocacy, for and on behalf of, families with a range of statutory service providers (e.g. those conducting reviews and inquiries, social services, police, housing) and work to build good relations between all parties. To ensure that families get the support they need, you will use AAFDA’s Home Office endorsed seven-step approach to working with individuals and families, to ensure that they receive the best possible support and advocacy to restore dignity and relief for families and to help them cope and recover. Through trauma-informed approaches, you will:

· Listen to families and advocate for them in a complex system that too often treats them as passive participants and overlooks the value of their insight.

· Provide information, support, guidance, advice and advocacy on Domestic Homicide & Suicide Reviews (DHSR’s) and other reviews where relevant and appropriate.

· Manage families’ expectations of the legal and procedural processes facing them by supporting families in meetings with agencies such as health, police and local authorities.

· Give families practical help on a wide range of issues - including help with letter writing or advocating with employers and local authorities on the families’ behalf.

· Support AAFDA in our bringing families together in AAFDA’s peer support events, such as the Hear Our Voice weekend and the on-line peer support Zoom sessions, where families can speak with others to share their experiences and stories. This will involve occasional evening work.

Role Overview: 

The HR Lead will be responsible for embedding a consistent, robust, and proactive compliance culture across the HR team. This will ensure all HR practices, policies, and processes meet legal, regulatory, and internal governance standards, while also being practical, scalable, and aligned with business objectives whilst also providing hands-on support to the wider HR function on complex employee relations matters, organisation change, and operational HR activities.

Key Objectives/Responsibilities 

Strengthen HR Compliance Framework:

• Review and assess current HR policies, procedures, and practices against legal and regulatory requirements.
• Identify gaps, risks, and inconsistencies.
• Develop and implement an updated HR compliance framework.

HR Capability & Advisory Support:

• Act as a trusted advisor to HR colleagues and managers, providing practical, risk-based guidance that balances legal compliance with business needs.
• Build HR capability by upskilling colleagues on key compliance areas, including employment law, data protection, safeguarding, and right to work.
• Develop and share practical guidance, toolkits, and decision-making frameworks to support consistent and compliant HR practice.
• Partner on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and investigations.
• Coach HR colleagues and managers to support fair, consistent, and legally sound decision-making.
• Support organisational change, including restructures, consultations, and policy implementation.
• Contribute to HR projects and service improvements, embedding compliance into operational delivery.

Enhance Risk Management and Audit Readiness:

• Establish clear audit trails and documentation standards.
• Develop internal compliance monitoring mechanisms (e.g. audits, checklists, dashboards).
• Ensure readiness for internal and external audits.

Strengthen Employee Relations Compliance:

• Ensure consistent and compliant handling of disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations.
• Reduce risk of legal challenge through improved processes and documentation.

Systems and Data:

• Use HR systems to support compliance tracking (e.g. mandatory training, right to work, certifications).
• Improve reporting on compliance metrics and risks by creating HR dashboards to report to service leads through to board.

Key Deliverables:

• Compliance gap analysis report with prioritised action plan
• Updated suite of HR policies and procedures
• Standardised templates, toolkits, and guidance documents
• HR compliance training programme and materials
• Compliance monitoring framework (including KPIs and reporting dashboards)
• Audit-ready documentation processes
• Final project report including outcomes, risks, and recommendations

Success Measures:

• Reduction in compliance-related risks and incidents
• Positive internal or external audit outcomes
• Increased HR team confidence and capability (measured via feedback)
• Full policy review cycle implemented
• Clear and accessible compliance resources in place

Desirable:

• CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent senior-level experience).
• Experience in the charity, public sector or community‑focused organisations.
• Exposure to organisational restructures, TUPE or large‑scale change programmes.
• Experience with HRIS implementation or optimisation.
• Coaching or facilitation skills.

Key Responsibilities

As Fundraising Manager, you will:

• Develop and implement a 3–5 year fundraising strategy aligned with ISH's strategic objectives.

• Identify, cultivate and steward major donors and strategic partners.

• Lead the development of compelling funding applications and grant proposals.

• Manage and develop the Fundraising Assistant while fostering a collaborative fundraising culture across the organisation.

• Ensure all fundraising activity complies with charity law, the Code of Fundraising Practice and data protection legislation.

About You

You will be a motivated fundraising professional with a proven track record of securing significant philanthropic income and developing successful fundraising strategies.

• Significant experience in fundraising, philanthropy or income generation.

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you'll recruit, support and inspire people who generously give their time to help dogs in our care. From welcoming new volunteers and coordinating training to building relationships with local organisations and supporting corporate volunteering days, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and rewarding volunteering experience.

Working closely with the Head of Income Generation, you'll lead the day-to-day delivery of our volunteer programme, helping to ensure our volunteers feel valued, supported and equipped to make a real difference.
