About the Role
Working within the Finance department, the post holder will play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance department with managing the administration of the Finance function. The post holder is responsible for acting as the first point of contact for suppliers, departments and members through the Finance helpdesk and associated systems. They are responsible for overseeing the timely response to queries, allocation of queries to others in the finance team and supporting with the administrative maintenance of the systems in Finance. This role requires a keen eye for detail, an ability to adapt to changing priorities, and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.

RCJ Advice is an exceptional Citizens Advice and Law Centre delivering national legal advice services, both frontline and second tier, to people who are unable to afford legal representation and advice. We are based within the Royal Courts of Justice, the Central London Family Court and community sites across London, where we deliver local Citizens Advice services.
This post is a new role within RCJ Advice and forms part of the Improving Access to Justice for Domestic Abuse Survivors project. The three-year project aims to improve access to legal advice and support for domestic abuse survivors living in areas where legal aid services are limited.
The project will strengthen referral pathways, increase awareness of legal remedies and build sustainable links between domestic abuse organisations, frontline professionals and legal providers to ensure survivors can access appropriate legal support.
During the first year, the postholder will likely focus on developing the project in Suffolk. This will include mapping existing services, building relationships with domestic abuse organisations and frontline professionals, developing referral pathways and strengthening links with local legal providers.
In years two and three, the postholder will move the focus of the project to new legal aid deserts in England (we have a similar role in Wales) identified during the course of the project, developing new local networks, referral pathways and partnerships to improve access to legal advice and support for domestic abuse survivors in those areas.
Alongside this project development work, the postholder will provide specialist family law advice and support to domestic abuse survivors, including advice on protective remedies such as Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders and other family law matters including Domestic Abuse Protection Orders (DAPOs). This will include providing advice through appointments, telephone and email advice, and supporting survivors with CourtNav applications.
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with experience of family law and domestic abuse work. They will have strong legal skills, experience of developing partnerships or services, and the ability to build trusted relationships with survivors, professionals and community organisations.
The postholder will work closely with colleagues across RCJ Advice, including the FLOWS team and Family team, sharing learning and contributing to wider organisational work supporting survivors of domestic abuse.
The role will require flexibility to travel across England, including occasional overnight stays, to support delivery of the service, partnership development and engagement activities.

About the Role
We are seeking a day support worker for our high-quality, self-contained accommodation for women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage. The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic, trauma and psychologically-informed environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The role is located at an 18-bed, 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham.
In this role, you will provide support to all the women, including co-designing and running activities (such as art groups, self-care sessions, nature walks, cooking activities etc.) and accompanying women to appointments. You will work closely with Specialist Support Workers who manage individual resident support and safety plans.
The service and the wider organisation recognise the high levels of trauma that precede and perpetuate homelessness, and the complex, interconnecting needs that develop against this backdrop (including mental and physical health difficulties, substance misuse, brain injury, emotion dysregulation, interpersonal problems, and stigma and exclusion). The service operates as a best-practice, Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), working in close partnership with homeless mental health experts and includes an in-house psychologist, offering therapeutic input to residents, and support and training to staff. In this role, you will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.
The post holder will undertake 8-hour shifts on a 7-day rota, covering the hours 07:45 am to 20:15 pm. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.
Due to the nature of this women’s supported housing service and the needs of the residents, this role is open to women only. This is considered to be an occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the College’s Policy and External Affairs Department, providing vital administrative and project support across three key teams: Health Policy, Policy and Public Affairs (Devolved Nations), and Media and Public Affairs. We have an exciting maternity cover opportunity for a skilled relationship manager to join our supportive and growing team. You will manage and help grow our group of delivery partners, communicating the vital importance of improved numeracy for their staff, their business, their customers, or for the adults they support in the community.
You will build strong, mutually beneficial relationships, to support partners to implement and manage our programmes to improve number confidence and skills, as well as spotting opportunities to establish innovative new partnerships.
As Relationship Manager, you will play an important role in realising our vision by building long-term partnerships that provide sustainable impact for the organisation.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, able to pick up the job quickly, and use their own initiative to both strengthen relationships and establish new links. It’s not imperative that you come from the charity sector as long as you can show us that you have relevant transferable skills and an understanding of what it takes to be successful in this role. We welcome applications from people who may have struggled with maths and numbers and have a personal understanding of the experiences of our beneficiaries. As a charity, National Numeracy operates nationally, and for this role, we welcome applications from across the UK. You can work in the office in Falmer, East Sussex, and/or you can work from home. Our expectation is that you will visit Falmer occasionally during the year when the work requires. While much of the work for this role can be done from home or the office, it will also involve travel to meet with the team and partner organisations across the UK.
The role is a maternity leave cover expected to last between 9-12 months. We welcome applications from candidates looking to work either four or five days per week.

In this varied role, you'll support people affected by liver disease through online and face-to-face engagement activities, help deliver support groups and events, build relationships with patients and healthcare professionals, and contribute to national awareness campaigns.
We're looking for someone with experience of outreach, community engagement or support services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while working independently.

The role also requires flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to support events and engagement activities.
This role is currently funded for an initial three-year period.
