At Animal Trust Vets CIC, our purpose is simple: To make trusted veterinary care easy to access, so pets and people live happier, healthier lives.
We are looking for an Employer Brand & Talent Marketing Specialist to help us attract great people to a mission-led organisation doing meaningful work. This is a hands-on role focused on strengthening how Animal Trust is seen by current and future colleagues, improving candidate attraction, and helping us tell a clear, authentic story about difference we make to the lives of pets and the people who care for them.
You will lead the development of our employer brand, talent marketing and external reputation activity across owned, earned and paid channels, including LinkedIn, careers content, recruitment campaigns, professional press, PPC and online reputation platforms. You will work closely with colleagues across Recruitment, Operations and Marketing to create content, campaigns and candidate messaging that reflect the reality of working at Animal Trust and support recruitment in priority areas.
This role would suit someone who combines strong writing, digital marketing and brand instincts with practical delivery. You will be as comfortable planning a campaign as you are writing content, managing social channels, improving job advert quality, supporting media opportunities, monitoring reputation, and tracking results.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain Animal Trust’s employer brand and employee value proposition in a way that is authentic, distinctive and aligned to our purpose and values.
- Lead talent marketing activity across owned, earned and paid channels to improve attraction for priority roles and locations.
- Manage LinkedIn, careers content and employer-facing digital channels including website.
- Support PR to professional and trade press, helping identify stories, draft content, build media opportunities and strengthen Animal Trust’s profile as an employer and veterinary organisation.
- Develop PPC campaigns linked to recruitment and brand visibility.
- Monitor and help manage online reputation, including review platforms and wider digital sentiment, using insight to improve candidate and customer perception.
- Create compelling careers content, including colleague stories, role campaigns, videos, photos, recruitment pages, social posts and case studies.
- Improve the quality and consistency of recruitment marketing materials including job adverts, campaign messaging and candidate communications.
- Work with recruitment teams to identify attraction challenges and build targeted campaigns.
- Help strengthen the candidate experience by making communications clearer, more engaging and more brand-aligned.
- Track performance and provide insight on what is improving reach, engagement, applications and quality.
What we are looking for
- Experience in employer brand, recruitment marketing, talent attraction, communications, social media, PR or a similar role.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
- Experience managing LinkedIn and digital content channels professionally.
- Good understanding of how employer reputation is shaped across social, review and media channels.
- Experience of managing or supporting PPC / paid digital campaigns and interpreting performance data.
- Ability to turn complex or operational realities into clear, engaging content.
- Comfort working independently while building strong relationships across teams.
- A practical, values-led approach and sound judgement in representing an organisation publicly.
Hours: 20 hours per week
Working pattern: Flexible rota to suit your schedule, with hybrid working options available
Salary: Up to £21,500 for 20 hours per week (depending on experience)
