The Role
Proactively submit tailored fundraising applications to a wide range of charitable trusts, corporate foundations, National Lottery and statutory bodies, to fulfil the team income of c1m.
Continue working with a very warm pipeline, with many bids in progress and over 330k secured already.
Work with the Director of Communications and Fundraising (Director) and/or the Head of Fundraising as appropriate.
Manage and support the Trust and Foundations Officer, who oversees the smaller trust programme, empowering them to develop, grow and contribute to the overall strategy.
The Candidate
Proven experience of writing successful and compelling proposals and applications to Trusts and Foundations and securing multi year funding.
Experience of working across an organisation to develop fundraising bids and reports, ideally within a campaigning charity.
Demonstrable experience in strategic planning and budgeting.
Ability to undertake high quality research to identify potential trusts and foundation prospects.

Our partner, an international charity, seeks an interim finance manager to support the international finance team. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder, with experience in preparing consolidated annual accounts, management accounts, whilst being hands on and taking on transactional elements of the role.
Responsibilities
- Day to day accounting and administration, including posting transactions; payment of suppliers and staff expenses; international bank transfers to overseas country offices; setting up and processing regular giving payments, and processing one off donations; banking; and process monthly payroll.
- Undertake reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including BVA analysis and summaries, and income and expenditure reports for budget holders.
- Prepare the annual consolidated accounts and financial statements, and support in the preparation of the annual audit, liaising with the overseas country offices.
Requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant with all-round experience working in a small team within an international charity. Experience of leading on the production of annual consolidated accounts as per charity SORP in the UK, management accounts & analysis, and managing day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.

- Strong business partnering skills, able to work with finance and non-finance staff in the UK and overseas offices, budget holders and liaise with third parties, including banks and auditors.

We are on the lookout for a fantastic Events Project Manager to help our healthcare client on an interim basis for a 6-month contract role.

- Negotiate and effectively manage relationships with the venue and suppliers.
- Work closely with the communications team to promote the awards scheme, generate nominations and ensure that internal and external stakeholders are engaged
- Recruit, manage, coordinate and oversee event volunteers.
- Maintain the budget and ensure milestones are met according to the agreed timeline.
- Manage, negotiate and implement contracts with external providers and suppliers.
- Identify and agree measures of success to evaluate the award scheme and event and make recommendations for improvement.
Person Specification:
- Experience managing and implementing award and recognition schemes and large scale, high profile events
- Highly experienced with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Working with and coordinating people to deliver objectives and defined tasks
- Maintaining effective relationships with organisational leadership
- Venue booking and liaison and managing suppliers
- Budget management
- Research and evaluation methods and techniques
- Experience of working in an events management and/or communications environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Personable with excellent people skills
- Strong leadership skills to coordinate and facilitate activities with colleagues, senior leaders, patients and volunteers
What’s on offer:
This is a full-time six-month contract role with a fantastic health organisation. They offer flexible working going into their central London office 1-2 times a week. Salary will be between £45-50k pro rata dependant on experience.
